Smash!

Gross isn't it?! But thats all I want, (am eating other stuff too, lol) but not even real mash will do

I've never even LIKED smash!

(Am I going to hell?) lol

With DS1 it was happy meals. DS2 it was dairy, yoghurts, cheese ect ...

Meat - cos I am a vegetarian

Botbot · 23/05/2008 15:59

Cheap 'n' nasty ice lollies, bought by the 12-pack from Sainsbur.

Nbg · 23/05/2008 16:01

I used to love Sponges.
Brand new cheap sponges.

I could sit there for hours sniffing them whilst crunching ice cubes.

Minkus · 23/05/2008 21:15

Raw beef mince! Not given in but when I cook it...the smell and the texture... arllagharaharllll (homer simpson doughnut noise)

BigBadMouse · 23/05/2008 21:33

Mussels floating in lime juice with the last two - with the previous two it was Mackerel floating in lime juice. I so desparately want to eat seafood and sushi right now

Also with this one sunflower seeds...and lots of them

I can totally understand the plastic / petrol thing though...especially this time round. I had to ask DH to move the petrol can out of the potting shed the other day as I thought I was at great risk of drinking it . Gearbox oil smell still turns my stomach like nothing else though.

I also ate two multipacks of skips early on this time but I kept them down - first thing I had kept down in ages at the time.

What is it with ice though? Every time I get near the end I MUST HAVE ICE CUBES

expatinscotland · 23/05/2008 21:34

amytheearwaxbanisher · 23/05/2008 21:37

oh last time it was a pack of sausages a day sliced up like you would for a child didnt like sausages before or since!everything garlic too

mel2005 · 24/05/2008 08:36

with my first, it was strawberries (which i usually have an allergy to)bananas, good quality fresh ham and raw fresh peas (loads of folic acid). it was a boy.
with my second, it was harribo sweets (which i usually hate) in fact it was alot of sweet things and i never eat sweets usually. i also ate jars of black and green olives. it was a girl.
i am now pregnant with my third, only 7 weeks so early days yet but it has been waitrose ham and raw fresh peas and tiny plum tomatoes so far. i think it must be a boy.

I had a really bad weekend around 15 weeks where I craved one thing that I hadn't wanted for 10 years, and just couldn't give in to - I really wanted a good cigar!

Fortunately it wore off - since then I've just wanted more meat, fish and tofu, and loads of fruit. And each morning a large latte and danish, but I think that's just because I'm so knackered I'm running on caffiene and sugar!

Salad Cream on everything with both pg's - but with my first craved the smell of wax shoe polish, and with the 2nd Windolene! Every available bit of glass within my reach was polished continously for the last 8 weeks of my pg!

southernbelle77 · 25/05/2008 09:13

Not having any cravings yet this time round (although I am VERY partial to cheese a lot) but last time it was Mr Sheen dust wipes! I couldn't get enough of them. Had them in my desk at work and in my car so after work I could smell them before driving home. If I could have chewed on them I would have. Even read the back of the packet just to make sure you couldn't!!!

SpookyMadMummy · 25/05/2008 09:27

While pg with Dd1 my cravings were lots and lots of orange squash (I would go through a litre of concentrate a day) and Chicken kiev, with new potatoes and beef gravy
With Dd2 I ate lots and lots of pistachio nuts.

SmugColditz · 25/05/2008 09:30

I once ate a black pudding, cheese, peanut butter, mustard and cheese biscuit sandwich.

I was very depressed and not eating properly, but still, that is most people's cholesterol intake for the decade!

emmabemmasmom · 25/05/2008 10:02

Oh mine were grilled cheese sandwiches, pringles, frozen Snickers, toast with jam and a cheese slice...ice (used to smash bags on the floor in the store and open it right there to eat it...got some weird looks).

During first 3 months I couldn't go near raw meat (so we didn't eat meat for a bit!) and also I survived for a few weeks on Frosties cereal.

Also, petrol fumes (oh yes) Once I started thinking about walking to the Jet to just hang around I realized I had issues.

I ended up having a girl by the way for anyone who may be pregnant with same cravings You never know!!

chinchi · 25/05/2008 10:20

This time round Ive gone through phases of:

Irn-Bru
Fairy Cakes
Roast beef and onions

Last time round I used to buy alcohol free Kaliber by the tray load!

teenyweenytadpole · 25/05/2008 10:27

Mine was Bovril, or iced lollies.

I also once cried in a cafe because I wanted a plain cheese and tomato sandwich and they couldn't do me one, only a fancy mozarella panini thing.

cantgetnosleep · 25/05/2008 21:47

Haribo (I hate jelly sweets normally)
Mcdonalds quarter pounder with cheese (normally i'm veggie )

I seem to be starving this pregnancy- all i want to do is eat am going to be the size of an elephant at this rate come October...with the same size bump!

Divejaney · 26/05/2008 16:00

Badedas shower gel, its taking all my willpower to stop myself licking my arms in the shower and I sneak into the bathroom to smell it all the time
Also sex!! DP is very happy but I've been trying to persuade him to use the Badedas shower gel too, God, even the thought of that....wonder when he will get home from work

cazboldy · 26/05/2008 16:16

I never had cravings - just things I couldn't bear! lol, but my auntie liked mars bars dipped in salad cream!
