Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

I'm really struggling with the nausea I'm so fed up of feeling sick all day and night 😭 I fell asleep at my laptop today even after going to bed at 8pm and sleeping all the way through. I can't wait for the second trimester 😅

MuddyMoments · 08/04/2025 18:43

Has anyone’s cravings started and are in full swing yet? I’m still struggling with constant nausea, I’m struggling to drink anything that isn’t ice ice cold! I’ve just sent my OH to the little shop to get me bottles to keep in the fridge, I’m craving anything ice cold and citrus flavoured. Oh and sour fizzy sweets 🤦🏼‍♀️

Sour sweets!!!! Omg I’ve never eaten so many sour patch kids! Only thing thats helping with my morning sickness

Does anyone here do shift work and nights , I’m 9 ish weeks now and the nausea and vomiting is kicking my ass , I think I’m going to ask my consultant to take me off on call work , just not able for it . I’m scheduled to do a 70 hour week next week and I think I might collapse

They have to accommodate you! My sickness has been in the afternoons and evenings and I’m so exhausted purely because of a blood disorder I got and my manager has swapped all my shifts around

I have zero cravings but many food aversions, can't eat or even smell or think about anything spicy, with sauces, any Asian food is a big no-no now and I used to love it. I stick to as bland foods with as little ingredients as possible, without strong flavours. Citrus is also not going well here. But do feel like I could eat blueberries non stop. I wish I had cravings not aversions!

MuddyMoments · 08/04/2025 19:17

@lavafieldoh no.. I get you with aversions as well, the smell of the fridge, bin and any sort of meat cooking is a big no no for me too!

amyriver · 08/04/2025 19:20

Hi just joining as I haven’t been on mumsnet before! Due the 6th November, 1st pregnancy so everything is very new and lots of nausea and sickness unfortunately, but it has started to ease so hoping it goes away in a few weeks 🤞First scan booked for late April and very excited for it 😊

Hey 👋 congratulations ❤️ I’m due 24th November, we have a private 8 week scan this Saturday and my 12 week scan on 14th May, so I’m currently 7 weeks and 3 days. Also my first but my partners second

I’m exactly the same, only want fresh citrus things - red grapes, pineapple, melon and lollyices!
Haven’t eaten meat in weeks, can’t stand the thought or smell of it. Same with eggs too 🤢
It was all things hot at first but I’ve managed pasta, rice and soup -recently.
Cooking is a nightmare can’t stand the smell. Preferring cold things .
im 9w today, what about you?

After 3 losses scans are horrific experiences for me and not one bit exciting, next one is next week because of bleeding.

BrockwellTara · 08/04/2025 19:55

Hi all,

End of November due date! What were everyone's symptoms at 6 weeks? I feel paranoid like I should feel worse than I do. Tender boobs and fatigue are my main symptoms. I have felt the odd bout of nausea, maybe once or twice a day for the past couple of days - is that normal?

Hi @Xwx1010 glad it’s not just me who is struggling with cooking and meat!

Sorry to hear you’ve had to go through that previously, I totally get why scans make you nervous.

I’ll be about 8 weeks on Thurs this week, I don’t know exact dates yet due to irregular cycles, because of this and me finding out less then 3 weeks ago my local trust fast tracked me for a scan and there was a risk I could’ve been 13 weeks (in my head I knew I wasn’t) anyways I was dated 5+5 a fortnight ago today and we saw the fetal pole and a heartbeat so would make me 7+5 today! I’ve felt nauseous 24/7 since before I found out- it is what made me test, I’m on anti-sickness meds which are hit & miss for working! I already have a little boy 3, and this is my third pregnancy after I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in 2020 before a successful pregnancy with my little
boy!

I find this stage so anxiety inducing and the not knowing is awful combined with feeling so rubbish, and not many people knowing etc.

Hope your scan goes ok!

CloudsInMyCoffee09 · 08/04/2025 22:12

Hello, hope everyone is doing OK.

Was wondering if anyone knows much about hcg testing?

I've had my results back, at 6+1 I was at 72,000 and at 6+4 I was about 98,000.

I know the numbers are high which seems promising but I'm concerned that they haven't increased much. From what I've read the rate of increase slows around six weeks, and I know everyone is different but I was hoping the test would provide some reassurance following two losses and it's done the opposite. I'm terrified it's going to end badly again 💔

JasminJW · 09/04/2025 08:13

hello!

First time pregnancy - I’m 8 weeks today and have a private scan this evening because I couldn’t wait…

Torn between feeling fortunate that I seem to have almost no symptoms?! But then freaked out because that doesn’t seem normal. I’m very tired by about 8/9pm but that’s after a busy day at work so probably no different to usual. Mild cramping around 5pm for 30 mins or so which isn’t fun but doesn’t make me feel sick.

Am I about to hit a wall of nausea any minute now… or might I have escaped?!

im also 35 so extra pranging about being a bit of an older first time mum.

anyone based in SE London? I’m due 19 November

Fatigue for me! I’m also finding it odd not to feel more but now wondering I should take the win while I can

Nikkix86 · 09/04/2025 09:01

I'm 7+2 now although scan last week put me a few days behind that and nausea is still taking me out, tired all the time and sore boobs on and off. Got another scan booked next Friday (18th) just to check everything is still ok and then will try and hold out for the 12 week scan after that. Got my booking appointment on Monday so should get my 12 week scan date then

Nikkix86 · 09/04/2025 09:02

Only thing I've found that helps the nausea a little bit is lemon so I've been drinking still lemonade

Writerscompanion · 09/04/2025 11:34

I’m in SE London @JasminJW

I’ve been a bit quiet here as my daughter has been poorly all weekend and the. off nursery for two days, thank goodness my mum was here to help with one of them as my nausea and fatigue is really ramping up. I’m now 7+6 by LMP and 6+4 by the early scan.

My food aversion/nausea is very similar to last time, I can’t bear to think of food/planning/preparing food so I just want something put in front of me but then when I do eat I feel so much better. I’m craving (very similar to last time) salty/savoury food like pretzels and super noodles, fresh cut fruit like melon and pineapple, cold and fizzy drinks/lollies and fizzy sweets, I just had some fizzy vimto sweets which were amazing. I was sick on Monday but not again so far. One thing which is less so far this time is my smell isn’t in overdrive, last time I couldn’t bear to go in the kitchen for weeks so I’m hoping I swerve that one this time as preparing my daughter’s meals will be difficult otherwise. I’ve gone totally off coffee now which happened last time. It’s all good because I now feel much more pregnant than a week or two ago when I was really stressing about symptoms but I’m also willing this bit to be over. Working is so hard, I’m so unproductive…

I was exactly the same! I’ve had very little symptoms all throughout my pregnancy so far. I am 40 in May so also in the higher age category. I am now 10+3 and literally went into a meltdown last week when I was at 9+6 because I was worried something was wrong. The only symptoms I have had is tiredness and hunger. No ‘normal’ symptoms at all and this started to worry me. I booked another scan and was shocked at how much my baby had grown and how well it was developing! My mind was put at ease and I’ve been told by sooo many people to count myself lucky for escaping the worser symptoms. Good luck with your scan this evening! I am in Essex btw so quite close to SE London. Xx

oh wow! That's great news

Nikkix86 · 09/04/2025 11:58

I'm in Hertfordshire so not far from London ☺️ can't wait for my scan next week to see how baby has grown 🥰

SoOtterlyLovely · 09/04/2025 16:46

I'm really struggling. 6+5 I think today. Developed an awful cold, nausea is horrendous in the mornings and evenings. Waking up with fevers or constant weeing. Reallly feeling low. Last mc I had I was unwell prior (diff things - uti that time) and it's freaking me out. Been trying to push through with work but think I need to draw the line and rest. Also a due date of a previous loss on friday and that's looming.
Urgh. No point in this message but to mope and I hate myself for it because I'm so lucky to be here pregnant 😞😞

Writerscompanion · 09/04/2025 17:23

Oh @SoOtterlyLovelythat’s really tough. Of course you can mope, that’s what we’re here for! I’m just getting over my daughter’s coughy illness although luckily I didn’t get her tummy bug - it’s awful being ill and preggo. I’ve also had some low moods which I think are probably a combination of hormones and feeling rubbish/unproductive. But I’m feeling brighter today, I hope you’ll feel the same tomorrow. Big hugs! Xx

MuddyMoments · 09/04/2025 19:16

Aww @SoOtterlyLovelysorry to hear you are feeling down. Big hugs… it is so hard. I feel you.. about 2 weeks ago my constant 24/7 nausea was making me think all sorts of things even if I could carry on when feeling like this. I felt guilty for my partner and our 3 and an half year old! I kept having a little cry and feel like this is such a lonely time. It’s a time full of so many emotions when our hormones are raging all over the place. I’ve felt better today (then you worry when you don’t as rubbish) Try get in your comfies, have an early night and tomorrow is a new day! You’ve got this! hugs x

JennyTig · 09/04/2025 20:04

@SoOtterlyLovely mope away! I have been feeling very sorry for myself the last two weeks.

I also get the guilty feelings but then i remind myself that feeling sick and tired 24/7 for weeks is not an easy thing.

My husband actually said "if I felt like that for 10 minutes.. I'd need to go to bed for at least 20" 😂

SoOtterlyLovely · 09/04/2025 20:15

Thanks guys.. really conforting from you all.

I'd felt so positive about this pregnancy and now I'm back in v negative headspace. Tomorrows a new day... maybe I'll wake up more positive
