Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

@WriterscompanionI’m a bit nervous myself because of lack of symptoms I have felt a bit of nausea on a few occasions and I’m tired earlier than usual but other than that there’s nothing. It doesn’t help my anxiety. I have a scan booked for the 23rd April at 9+0 at EPU but considering booking a private one for either next Saturday at 6+3 or the Saturday after at 7+3 as I’m conscious they won’t see much at 6+3 especially if my dates are slightly out.

Yeah I would wait until 7+3 if you possibly can, more likely to be a clearer result and then less of a wait until your next one. But I know it’s hard to wait!

so so sorry @Squibblypanda90 take care of yourself 🤍

@Writerscompanion try not to worry (easier said than done), I had zero symptoms with my daughter until around 8/9 weeks. Like literally nothing. Great sign you got your 3+, hopefully baby is cooking away nicely in there 😊.

According to LMP I’m 5+4, but going off my peak OPK I’m 5 exactly and got my 3+ this morning. Been so anxious over it as it’s taken so so long to even see a BFP, but that’s definitely helped settle my anxiety 🥰

madasahatter96 · 29/03/2025 08:28

I haven't managed to take another digital moving house on Tuesday so all go here which I'm quite thankful for as is keeping my mind busy. But bloods taken yesterday came back as 4,800 so I'm hopefull that's a good sign. X

anyone started taking folic acid yet?

I've been taking it since TTC and will carry on taking it till I'm 12 weeks x

XMummyTo5X · 29/03/2025 09:52

@Nikkix86 i need to start taking it tbf as sonographer asked me yesterday if im taking folic acid yet.. but i haven't self refered online to midwifes yet as im waiting until Friday's scan then going to take it from their.. another question for you all, has anyone got their first midwife appointment coming up yet? i feel like im trying to keep this thread alive 😆 it can be really quiet! haha x

lavafield · 29/03/2025 10:05

Hi @XMummyTo5X I was taking folic acid throughout TTC but then I ran out of it and didn't take it for a couple of weeks just around the time of the conception and weeks 1-2! But then as soon as I found out I am pregnant at 3+2 I have been taking it daily! Also Vit D 1000. My consultant recommended lowering my usual 3000 Vit D to 1000 in pregnancy. I stopped taking CoQ10 as soon ovulation that month.
I have my first midwife booking appt on Monday!

MuddyMoments · 29/03/2025 10:07

@XMummyTo5XI’ve been taking folic acid since Jan as I had some bloods done that showed it as low, but I’ve been prescribed a higher dose (likely due to my BMI) I’ve already seen the midwife, to be honest last week was very overwhelming for me.

I self referred to the community midwives on Monday last week after testing positive last Friday Morning (21st) and because I hadn’t had a period since 30th Dec they went into panic stations and I ended up having a scan Tuesday and seeing the Midwife Thursday. I knew I was around the 6 week mark but they had to err on the side of caution due to my irregular cycles as I could’ve been nearly 13 weeks 😱

The scan estimated I was 5+5 on Tuesday so I’ll be around 6+2 today they haven’t given me an EDD yet until my 12 week scan. I just feel like things have moved super fast we haven’t got our head around things yet that we are even expecting our 2nd and I’m just so conscious things could go wrong so it all felt very early for my midwife booking appt!

Yeah definately start taking it anyway as it's good for the baby and also vitamin d think they tell you to take that the whole way through now. I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on the 14th April

lavafield · 29/03/2025 10:09

@Writerscompanion Try not to worry. I have very few symptoms. Very slight nausea which is on and off, not every day. Sore breasts. Tired earlier in the evening. Some bloating. Slight cramping when I move positions. That's it. Nausea only got worse after 8 weeks for a couple of days but again it is not a daily thing for me.

Does anyone keep exercising ? I only go to yoga as usual and modify it a bit now. I found all other classes and the gym very tough now, everything suddenly feels difficult and gives me cramps so I stopped. But I walk a lot and hope that's sufficient 😊

I have started taking folic acid (well a pregnancy multi vitamin) from as soon as I found out I was pregnant. In regards to a booking appointment, when I spoke to EPU for next steps, scan date etc she told me to refer into midwives whilst I await my early scan with EPU as normal, which I did. I did think in previous pregnancies they required you to be 6 weeks + to refer but according to my trusts self referral portal, it is now as soon as you get a positive test. Though I haven’t heard anything yet but I don’t expect to until 6-7 weeks to book in my booking appointment.

lynzmb · 29/03/2025 10:59

I've been taking folic acid and b12 for a few months.
Did a CB weeks yesterday and it had dropped back to 1-2 weeks (although was afternoon wee so not sure if that has impact) - feeling pretty low after the bleeding as I should be 8+3. I've got a private scan booked for tomorrow morning, so nervous.

XMummyTo5X · 29/03/2025 11:03

@lynzmb hope all goes well for you tomorrow 🙏🏻 will this be your first scan? or second? since you have mentioned you have been bleeding. x

First scan, bleeding started last Fri the day before I went on holiday. EPU said to just wait and see, it didn't get any heavier really and eased off mid week. No previous mc so I won't get a scan with EPU, I had to bite the bullet and book a private scan.

XMummyTo5X · 29/03/2025 11:20

@lynzmb thats ridiculous!! when if a woman is suffering from any pain or bleeding in early pregnancy, it doesn't matter whether you have had misscarriages or not, your local epau should of booked you in 😡 well i think you have done the right thing by booking a private scan to check on things!.. no wonder you are nervous for tomorrow 😔 but hopefully everything is ok for you🤞🏻💕

lynzmb · 29/03/2025 12:33

@XMummyTo5Xfully agree, I was quite surprised at how disinterested they were, especially the first midwife I spoke to x

HLouise94 · 29/03/2025 13:03

Hi everyone! I am currently 6+1 weeks with what will hopefully be my rainbow baby after my daughter was still born at 37 weeks in December and a miscarriage at 11 weeks the year before. To say I am terrified is an understatement! I’m feeling quite tired but other than that I haven’t had many symptoms yet which is worrying me a little xx

Writerscompanion · 29/03/2025 13:36

Sorry to hear about your CB @lynzmbI hope tomorrow comes quickly for you, it’s so hard waiting

Welcome @HLouise94, congrats on your positive! I’m so sorry for your previous losses xx

Thanks everyone for reassurance about the symptoms, I don’t think I’ll really believe it until I’m puking constantly like last time and can’t even go in the kitchen because of the smells! But I know every pregnancy is different

CTTat · 29/03/2025 15:40

Just creeping in if there’s room for me, as due at the end of Nov (possibly around 27th)…
This will be a very unexpected baby number 4 with a HUGE gap of almost 18 years between my oldest and this one. Finally picked ourselves up of the floor from the shock and starting to get a little bit excited.
Nice to be able to chat to people virtually as haven’t told anyone in real life yet!
Hope everyone’s enjoying the sunshine today xx
