How far along are you now? I don't feel this yet but it can creep in...if you're concerned and it's not passing or it's getting worse speak to your GP or midwife if you have one yet and ask to be referred to perinatal mental health team x

I’m 7+2 now. I already suffer with depression and PMDD. Lost my fiancé to suicide only 8 months ago then fell pregnant with a new partner straight away 😩. Just so so low 😭

Gosh I'm so sorry, I have anxiety and PTSD also...you can private message me anytime you need ❤️

@Beckybrkr7 I am so sorry for your loss. Definitely experiencing emotional highs and lows but agree with PP that you should discuss with your GP so they can help support you. What’s your family support system like?

Thank you, it’s just not getting any easier. Over the initial shock of losing him but the sadness is unbearable sometimes. I’ve contacted my GP about it and they are going to refer me to mental health team. My family are so supportive and so it my partner. It’s all been a lot to deal with in such a short space of time. Have three girls already so this wasn’t planned. I was on hormone treatment so didn’t expect to fall pregnant.

hopeful4us · 25/08/2024 17:01

@Beckybrkr7 well done for reaching out to your GP! It sounds like you’ve got an excellent support system and are surrounded by people who care for you ❤️

How is everyone doing?

No symptoms really here yet which kind of worries me but logically I know it's likely fine. I can't remember when nausea started on my 1st baby.

The only "symptom" is.... I can't stop cleaning/tidying/organizing to the point I get annoyed if others aren't cooperating with my organising/helping me correctly etc 🤣😅 as a result I'm very tired

Ahaha any form of organisation has totally gone out the window here! I’m still battling constant nausea (although the medication I’ve been given has at least kept full blown sickness at bay). Just back from a weekend with the family and feel completely wiped. Not looking forward to returning to work next week…

spttc · 26/08/2024 15:48

@hopeful4us see maybe in my mind I feel nausea might come so I'm trying to get it all in order before it hits! 😅 but a friend of mine had terrible sickness on her 1st baby and then none on her 2nd so maybe 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I've been feeling pretty nauseous too, but not vomited yet. And SOOOO tired, I've been sleeping SO much, it's insane! Hoping this is all a good sign as we're yet to have a successful pregnancy 🙏

LucyCL · 26/08/2024 22:46

I lost my appetite 3 days ago and started to feel sleepy 5 days ago. Today and tomorrow are the dates of my 1st MC (6 weeks and 1 day) so I have been feeling uncertain about my body. I hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy experience.

Hi

Just found out today, I think I'm 5 weeks 6 days!

I thought it was perimenopause starting (I'm 39 & have DOR) so my husband suggested a pregnancy test to rule it out as I'd woken up feeling nauseous again... lo & behold! We're still in a state of shock, we were told it was impossible Confused I have epilepsy too so I'm just so anxious Blush

Sorry if someone else has already said or you are well aware but if you are taking anti epileptics then please contact your consultant ASAP to discuss what it safe. If on epilim the risks and pregnancy are well known but it can extend to other anti epilepsy medications also, topiramate is the latest that needs a risk acknowledgement form and a prevent program now.

Hi all,

Found out I was pregnant last Saturday and it was a big shock. So I have a 6 month old little boy who was born in Feb!! This is such a big surprise but we are actually over the moon with such a small age gap! I was on a Facebook group for Feb 24 babies and it’s been amazing, we now have a WhatsApp group. Does anyone know if there’s any April 2025 groups?

congratulations to all! I can’t believe this is the second year I will be pregnant for Christmas.

Sunflowers will bloom in April on Facebook it's a private group

hopeful4us · 27/08/2024 10:20

@LucyCL how are you doing today? Have to say I’m not enjoying pregnancy at all so far - I feel so unwell and incapable of doing basic things. I’m so grateful to he pregnant and want this baby badly, just hoping it gets better in the 2nd trimester!

Cosmos24 · 27/08/2024 16:40

I had a scan today, and for the first time ever our "reassurance scan" was actually reassuring 😊(we've had three miscarriages). Measuring a little ahead of what I expected at 6w4d (so due 18th April), and seen the heart beat, so super happy. They're going to do a repeat scan in 2 weeks for further reassurance, but I've finally applied with the midwife today (didn't want to do it before the scan). Feeling positive 😀

Bellebg · 27/08/2024 17:32

Hi, excited to join this thread and massive congratulations to everyone 🤍

I’m not 100% sure on the exact day I ovulated this month but I think I’m currently about 6w3d.

My last pregnancy earlier in the year ended in a missed miscarriage so have an early scan on Thursday!

Currently have quite a few symptoms but I did last time so just having to keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼

How’s everyone else feeling?

GreenReader · 07/09/2024 17:30

Hello everyone! I will be 9 weeks tomorrow, had my first contact meeting on Friday and have my booking appointment this coming Thursday. My due date is around April 13. I'm 34 and we got pregnant on the first try, it all still seems a bit unreal!

Allswellthatendswelll · 07/09/2024 18:25

I have also had a scan at 7w5d (mainly due to generally feeling anxious) and saw the little heartbeat which was great. Going to do another one in 2 weeks.

Sickness is not fun at the moment- mainly in morning and evening! Also just general indigestion and tiredness!

hopeful4us · 08/09/2024 21:14

Beckybrkr7 · 24/08/2024 19:49

I’m so overly emotional and feeling extremely down. Is anyone else feeling this way? Just concerned my MH is dropping.

Definitely have a chat with your GP/midwife. I have days where I’m really emotional but if you’re feeling persistently down you should reach out and you’ll get more support.

Congratulations to all April 25 mums and good luck to all! I am due on 20.04 after a missed miscarriage in Sept last year and quite anxious this time round as I'm following the same timeline as before so I fully understand everyone who's mentioned any anxiety and concerns - this uncertainty can be so horrible on your mental health but keep going ladies WE CAN DO IT!

I'm currently 13w6days and so far so good, got my 16 weeks midwife app early Nov but had some dark yellow/pale brown snotty-like discharge this week so getting a bit worried. I have no other "bad" symptoms, no pains or itching or redness or anything severe really so wondering if anyone has experienced this occasional change in discharge to slightly darker than usual.

Thank you!

Tee1991 · 23/11/2024 23:29

Hi everyone! I’m due 29th April and this is mine and my fiancé’s first baby. We had our gender reveal scan today and we’re having a little girl 🩷 absolutely over the moon and on cloud 9! I was convinced I was having a boy which I was so happy about and had this confirmed by a ‘nub theory expert.’ It serves me right for paying £25 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ I have 3 nephews on my side of the family and no girls so as much as we didn’t care either way, we’re absolutely over the moon that we have a healthy baby girl on the way! I hope all of your pregnancies are going well ✨

hopeful4us · 24/11/2024 21:47

Congratulations @Tee1991 !! We are also having a little girl - first grandchild on both sides and everyone is very excited. We bought a travel system today and I’ve booked our NCT courses so it’s all becoming more real 😊

Ahh thank you 🩷 congratulations to you too! What travel system have you gone for? There’s so many lovely options!

We ended up getting the Cybex Balios Lux - it’s currently on a Black Friday deal with Mamas and Papas. Originally I was planning to get the pram 2nd hand and buy the car seat but looking on Vinted the deal means it’s not that different!
