Yeah I’m all referred, I did it at 4+4. Appointments are the 5th & 9th September!

I have a 2.5 year old little boy. I’d love to find out the gender of this one but I think DH will say he wants a surprise. We had one last time but I was so sure he was a boy. DH would love a little girl but we’ll both be thrilled either way.

Hello!! I am cautiously joining :)

I had a very very faint line on Saturday, just before my little boys first birthday party!

My cycles are very irregular due to breastfeeding, so I think I'm about 4 weeks now. I will be due around end of April :) Lines are still light, and get 1-2 weeks on a digital.

Welcome @Anonaust 😁 my brother & his wife just had their 5th! They have 4 girls, 1 boy. Maybe you'll be the same! Are you finding out the gender or waiting do you think? Sorry for the loss of your other pregnancy 😔

That would be lovely I've always wanted to experience being a boy mum I just can't seem to get one ...but last chance now lol. My husband is too eager he wants to know ASAP so I've no chance of convincing him to wait 😆 aw thank you very much. How far along are you?

The way I see it it's a surprise either way though. It's just a surprise earlier or a surprise later. It's not like when you find out you aren't surprised! You are! If you want to find out I'd pitch it like that 😁😅

Welcome! Same here. Light lines and 1-2weeks on digital. I keep having to remind myself I'm only 10dpo. I got positive result at 8dpo which is early but because of that It feels like a lifetime of light lines 😂🫣 I had to look at photos of my tests from last time as I was worried but they look the same and that was a successful pregnancy so 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Hello @km9371 I thought I recognized your username thanks for the back up on my thread 😂

spttc · 16/08/2024 07:39

@Anonaust yeh it's nice to have both. Although.... I really wanted a girl first time and I got one. This time I'm honestly happy with either. A girl would be nice so my lo would have a sister 💕 a boy would be good too as I don't have one 💙
I'm 4 weeks 3 days today 😁 I'm like your oh I'm dying to find out 😂 no way could I wait until the birth id lose my mind.

Yeah I used to say I wanted all girls I wasn't a boy mum but now I just want one boy...but I don't mind either way I think oh wants a boy as he's outnumbered by far haha. I'm only 3+6 as 11dpo.....I'm hoping my lines are going in the right direction 🤞

@Anonaust it's funny how pregnancy dating works though! I'm 10dpo but further along than you because I ovulate really late. Around day 22 of cycle. But I'm a week ahead (but not really).

Yeah that's so strange isn't it! 🤯 No wonder early scans are all over the place

Hello!!! Aww how lovely we are due date buddies!!

Yes!! I'm petrified tbh so soon after section and I don't want another section so it's gonna be a scary journey. Think I'm gonna book a scan for around 7 weeks to make sure all is ok before I get super excited x

km9371 · 16/08/2024 08:08

@Anonaust I think I am going to do an early scan too! I'm not sure how far I am though, my cycles are all over the place!

I had a c section with my little boy (he's just turned one) and I'd really like a home birth this time 🥹 probably another section though as I'm actually booked to have surgery on an ovarian cyst soon anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️

spttc · 16/08/2024 08:16

@km9371 & @Anonaust I also had a csection last time. An emergency one after 36hours of very strong contractions 😬 So I'm going to have a planned c-section this time! I just can't risk what happened last time again. I've booked a scan for 8 weeks. Can't come fast enough.

Anyone starting to get nauseous? I feel it creeping in. Going for dinner tonight with a friend. It was meant to be dinner and cocktails 🫣🫣 Do I tell her?

Oh really so will that cyst cause any issues for you? I really want a VBAC I never wanted a section ever n I was so poorly after x

I really want a VBAC.... My other girls were all vaginal no problem... But my last they induced me at 38 weeks because baby was big but the induction failed after 2 days of contractions weren't doing anything. I don't want to be induced or have a section this time if I can help it!

I've felt shaky and starving! No sickness yet but dreading it! Oh gosh you might have to....or order the cocktails yourself and get yours with no alcohol x

km9371 · 16/08/2024 09:05

@spttc oh bless you that sounds like a lot! My last section was a planned one (baby predicted to be gigantic 😂) it was a wonderful experience!! So relaxed, lovely music playing, very calm, got to have delayed cord clamping and skin to skin while they stitched me up. I personally found a planned section a very positive experience.

I had my first bit of dry heaving this morning 😂

@Anonaust it didn't cause we any issues last pregnancy but I think it can do - I was supposed to have it out during last c section but there was some mix up with consent forms or something 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yeah I wouldn't say the section was bad I had my playlist n everything I was going to have during normal labour but my recovery was awful

YouveGotAFastCar · 16/08/2024 09:17

I had a Cat 1 emergency section last time. They’ll definitely encourage it this time but I’m leaning towards a VBAC.

I’ve stopped testing now but it feels odd not to be able to check everything is “okay”! I got 3+ on a digital on Tuesday, at 5 weeks exactly, so sometimes I wonder if I’m further along than I think. But it’s just wishful thinking 😂 I definitely had a period in July.

It feels a lot more real talking to other people due in April! I’m so excited ❤️ (when the nerves and fear leave me alone for a few minutes 😅)

How long ago was your section? X

spttc · 16/08/2024 10:21

@Anonaust see this is what's so strange. My recovery was really easy. I'd say non existent. I was up and about walking normally no pain a few hours later 😅 I had my section at night. So say 9:30pm. Was walking perfectly by 6am when I woke and I couldn't feel any pain at all. I think maybe the hospital was very good with the pain relief but even when I went home no pain at all. Praying it's the same this time 😬

Congratulations everyone! I just got my first positive. My dp is on a course today, I can't wait to tell him!
He was working away when I got a positive in April and was still away when I had a MC 7 weeks later so I'm very happy he's here this time to share the news with ❤️❤️

I don't know how far along I am, I'm sure I was due my period last week but had a lot on and wasn't tracking... oops!!

God really! I had mine morning time, wasn't able to move until the evening managed a shower but I was hunched over for days, then it was 2 weeks before I could do anything at all! I swelled so bad I could fit socks or shoes on, had to wear my oh pants and my blood pressure was stroke level they had to increase me to max medication to get it down. It was horrendous tbh! X

Same!! I was walking the baby around the hospital grounds the same day home first thing the next morning in less than 24 hours!

My recovery at home was fine, the only thing I struggled to do was put the car seat in the car (I had a two door car at the time). I was back to walking the dog / doing most things just a bit slower almost immediately.

Congratulations to you too 💚💚

We'd been trying about 5 months and my other half's response was still ARE YOU JOKING, HOW 😂😂

I also didn't track last month, my periods are irregular, I'm 5 weeks 4 days since last period but think I'm only about 4 weeks just pregnant. Maybe less 🤷🏼‍♀️ I find the dates confusing.
