I had a Cat 1 emergency section last time. They’ll definitely encourage it this time but I’m leaning towards a VBAC.

I’ve stopped testing now but it feels odd not to be able to check everything is “okay”! I got 3+ on a digital on Tuesday, at 5 weeks exactly, so sometimes I wonder if I’m further along than I think. But it’s just wishful thinking 😂 I definitely had a period in July.

It feels a lot more real talking to other people due in April! I’m so excited ❤️ (when the nerves and fear leave me alone for a few minutes 😅)

I've heard twins can make your hcg levels rise really fast!!

How's everyone getting on? 11dpo here. Lines getting much darker. I had to tell a friend lastnight as we had arranged for go for cocktails literally a few days ago so it would look funny if I said i wasn't drinking 😅 she's had miscarriages herself so she's the type I know she won't tell anyone etc!

Feeling really sick but haven't been sick. 2nd pregnancy but already feels really different. Either that or I blocked my pregnancy from 8 years ago out! 😅

spttc · 17/08/2024 22:00

@HEM28 I'm still feeling fine. I think the proper nausea kicked in for me last time around 6 weeks. My friend I was talking to lastnight had HG her first pregnancy but nothing on her 2nd. Her pregnancy was so different she was convinced it was a gender thing but no! Same. I'm hoping I get away with no sickness this time 😅

Hi

Just found out today, I think I'm 5 weeks 6 days!

I thought it was perimenopause starting (I'm 39 & have DOR) so my husband suggested a pregnancy test to rule it out as I'd woken up feeling nauseous again... lo & behold! We're still in a state of shock, we were told it was impossible Confused I have epilepsy too so I'm just so anxious Blush

louisl8 · 17/08/2024 23:09

It's also my second my Dd is 5 years old now

hopeful4us · 17/08/2024 23:53

Hi everyone 👋 I’d love to join! I’m 6+2 today. This is my first pregnancy and I’m really struggling with the constant nausea! Been suffering for a week and nothing seems to be working so I’m going to ring the doctors on Monday. Currently waiting to hear back from the local midwives re my booking appointment. Love how supportive these groups can be and just need little positives to keep me going.

spttc · 18/08/2024 01:08

@hopeful4us & @louisl8 welcome!! 🤗

It's funny I don't really do the nesting thing when I'm late stage pregnancy but I was unstoppable today 🫣 got rid of furniture and replaced it, reorganized 3 rooms. My poor husband 🤣😬 I'm a bit worried I overdid it I have some aches etc. Hopefully not I'll take it easier tomorrow. Very hard to stop though 🫣

OP posts:
louisl8 · 18/08/2024 08:10

@spttc I think I was nesting last time towards the end, wanted everything clean! I'm just worried about my age & I also work with children who have challenging behaviour at times so it's risky, have no clue what they'll do with me, never known anyone to be pregnant at work Confused dry heaving again as soon as I've woken up today... the joys WinkHmm

km9371 · 18/08/2024 08:37

@spttc I am like that too 😂😂

@hopeful4us the sickness is so hard isn't it! I hope the dr finds something that works well for you to manage it xx

Anonaust · 18/08/2024 10:08

Still cramping with brown blood girls, hate there's nothing I can do but wait it out, tests still same, so just have to wait now and see how this week goes 😞

Hey, congratulations!!! I’m 6w3d today so we are the same. Feeling sick a lot too. Not sure what to do about it other than snacking often. This is my 4th baby. I’m 36 so feeling apprehensive about being an older mum.

Beckybrkr7 · 18/08/2024 11:54

spttc · 14/08/2024 20:00

@Beckybrkr7 weirdly enough I did a bit earlier today but I'm verrry early (4wks 1 day). It was that that made me test. I'm trying to remember when my sickness started last time I think pretty early. Were you bad with nausea on your other pregnancies?

Sorry late reply. I think I was around 6 weeks with the others when I started to feel sick but this time it started around 5 weeks. How are you feeling now?

hopeful4us · 18/08/2024 13:54

@Beckybrkr7 I’ve been snacking, drinking more water, napping in the day and also bought motion sickness bands to no avail - it’s so tough! How old are your other DCs?

hopeful4us · 18/08/2024 13:54

Had an emotional wobble today and DP mentioned that maybe I should tell my mum about the pregnancy for support/guidance. We weren’t planning on telling our families for a few more weeks but we’re going on a mini break with them next weekend and I imagine they’ll clock on pretty fast if I’m still feeling like this! Anyone else told people already?

spttc · 18/08/2024 14:16

@hopeful4us I had to tell a friend as we had arranged a night out to get cocktails 🍹 we'd only arranged it a few days ago and it was a rare night without kids so it just wouldn't have looked right to say I wasn't going to drink etc, she'd have guessed anyway. I won't be telling anyone else though until 12 weeks at least. It's personal choice. I feel like if you tell too many the news leaks out and then if someone happens you've people commiserating who you hadn't even told

Hi all! And congratulations ❤️

I'm having a bit of a time of it. I normally have cycles between 23 and 30days so even though we weren't trying I tested yesterday as it was cd32 and got a faint positive. Very unexpected, used protection and I've had a lot of troubles in the past with pregnancy and conception so a MASSIVE shock.
Anyway, thinking of the dates and the fact we only had sex once on 24th July, I'm expecting this is going to end badly?
I tested again today but had no first response so used a normal 25miu which I thought was negative but now has two lines.

Any advice would be great because despite this being my 5th pregnancy (2 living children) I'm freaking out.

I think the best thing is to just get a clearblue digital so there's no mistake. Am I right you are likely 20-25 days post ovulation as you only dtd on the 25th July? If that's the case you'd definitely get a positive on a digital so I'd do that I think so you know.

I'm not sure, I think my ovulation could've been after we did, but yeah probably 20dpo now. There's definitely a line on the tests I've done, but they're just not as clear as I'd expect for this point :( I've ordered some more so I guess we'll see.

Hi everyone

Currently about 5+2 by my estimation, in my first pregnancy. Not feeling any symptoms yet and it doesn't quite feel real!

Wishing everyone well in their journeys ❤️

LucyCL · 18/08/2024 20:55

I would like to join please. I am 5 weeks and 1 day. Got a dye stealer and 3+ weeks on CB digital yesterday. Had 2 early losses this year and have never got past 6 weeks and 1 day. My nipples started to get sensitive 3 days ago. I don’t know what is going to happen next.

Treaclepie19 · 19/08/2024 08:18

I'm out. All the best with your pregnancies!

Same, trying to snack and drink more icey drinks and nap. One minute I think I feel ok and I’m going to get lots done and then next I’m feeling like I need to throw up and I can barely stand up. Bet it’s twins 😂. My girls are 13, 10 tomorrow and 4.
Is This your 1st pregnancy?
