Any news choccie?

I did another test this morning and still BFN.

Now on CD 34. Have got to CD 36 a few times in the past so may leave it till Sunday to test.

chocciedooby · 18/04/2008 10:43

Well, the makers of those home pregnancy tests would be laughing their socks off at me!I did yet another test this morning (should have waited 3 days but couldn't wait 1!).Yet Another BFN aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
We are only 3 days late Cece so I reckon could keep testing for another few days and still not get BFP.
I was minding my neighbours kids last night. When I got home I just crawled into bed (11pm).So tired.
More watery egg white stuff again (sorry tmi)and heightened sense of smell.
Felt awful 1st thing this morning.Really sick.

I has sore boobs and heartburn, this was before my period was even due, so the wait til I could test was agonising

cece · 18/04/2008 18:50

choccie
I have been to poundland today and bought 3 packs of three HPT, so have got nine to use up if I need to!! LOL

cece · 19/04/2008 07:31

choccie,
another BFN - how about you?

chocciedooby · 19/04/2008 09:22

Well Cece I've decided not to do a test today.Going to wait until 2moro. DH brought 2 tests home for me last night but I am going to hold off.It takes 72 hours for the HCG levels to double so I reckon I would be looking at another BFN today as well.
Feel really sick this morning. Its hard moving around before I've eaten.Especially when my DC's can be v.demanding in the mornings.

hi guys can i join u to get an opinion on my symptoms aswell... have been very very tired for the last week or so specially in the evenings. hertvurn at night and have been feeling nauseas for the last 3 days on and off. af is due on friday coming. yestarday morning i did a sainsburys own test and thought i had the faintest line. but when i did another test in the evening nothing..... what do u think?

cece · 19/04/2008 09:45

was the lone wihtin the time limit? As I gat a line about 4 hours afterwards yesterday! It was just an evaporation line because over time limit for reading the test. I would say a week early is pretty ealry to be testing...

march29 · 19/04/2008 09:49

well it seemed to be in the prescribed 1 to 5 mins... but could have been abt 10.....

cece · 19/04/2008 09:56

Maybe then? I htink I owuld wait and test again in 2 days, but as you can see I don't follow my own advice!

chocciedooby · 19/04/2008 13:30

Hi march29.Symptoms could be pregnancy or period.Unfortunately they seem to be pretty much the same. I do however think that there is some amount of "Just knowing your body is different"!
I thought once I missed my AF on Tuesday that I would get a BFP for sure but its still too early to test and I'm 4 days late now.Hang on in there everyone

Can I join in ? Have felt sick most days for a week. Period is at most 2 days late BFN on monday. When would you repeat it.

march29 · 19/04/2008 13:45

yeah i suppose it could be either... but i never usually get af symptoms. i know it sounds like i am trying to just clutch at straws.... but with my ds i knew 2 weeks in that i was pregnant.

2beautifulgirls · 19/04/2008 13:54

Hi guys, will an evaporation line have any colour?

littlelove · 19/04/2008 13:57

I got a bfp yesterday!! Very excited, although don't want to get hopes up as been disappointed before.

I've not really had many early symptons apart from a little bit of pain, like af pain, but not painful itms!

Last week I quite bad heartburn though which I suppose is a sympton!

Hoping to get more symptons soon though as at least when I have them, it makes me feel like it's more real! Is that strange?!

Good luck everyone still waiting.

naughtymummy · 19/04/2008 14:34

Shoulld add that with 2nd (this would be 3rd) Think I had symptoms from about 3 weeks. Good luck everyone will let you all know.

mumtobee · 19/04/2008 18:50

I'm new to this forum - just found mumsnet this afternoon! I got period-like pains 11 days after conception, even though my period wasn't due for almost another 2 weeks (I have a very long cycle!!). Now 8 weeks pregant, was worried as I wasn't feeling nauseous at all until 6 weeks, but wish I hadn't spoke so soon as I have felt absolutely terrible for the last 2 weeks...

chocciedooby · 19/04/2008 18:56

Congratulations mumtobee!
Sorry you aren't feeling too well
On the bright side it should get better once you are past the first trimester (fingers crossed).
I have gone all day without attempting a test.Kept myself busy all day.
Started to think about it now....

well done choccie - I have done two today

Chrissiew17 · 20/04/2008 01:21

I appear to have had symptoms from around 3-4 days post conception! It was agony waiting to do a test and as a result I did several over a two week period which gradually got darker from a very thin faint line which I thought I had imagined at first and that it was just wishful thinking! My symptoms were very tender and sensitive boobs-OMG the agony of taking my bra off. I also experienced an ultra sensitive and weird sense of smell-so much so that when my husband was grilling some chicken one evening I was convinced I could smell Vicks Vaporub cooking! I know-very strange!! I also had strange cravings for mushy peas and oranges-not together I hasten to add! I had this with my daughter so this also aroused my suspicions. Anyway I'm currently around 9 weeks pregnant and I feel like I've been pregnant forever already. The waiting is horrendous-I've gone through a stillbirth and a missed miscarriage in the last 19 months so I'm trying not to get too hopeful just yet. Got my first scan next tuesday and I'm petrified... PS Come on Choccydoobie and Cece, I'm willing you both to get BFPs!-I've got everything crossed!!

cece · 20/04/2008 09:29

chrissie, sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my little girl at 18 weeks in December.

Well AF is here with a vengence. Finally arrived CD 36. Not sure what happened there?!

Not too disappointed as the baby would have been due about my last baby's birthday, which was stressing me.

Chrissiew17 · 20/04/2008 10:34

Thanks cece, I'm sorry to hear about your loss too-to lose a baby at 18 weeks is surely unusual-did you get given a reason? Sorry you got your AF-I hope you're not too disappointed even though you say you're not because it would have been due around your last baby's birthday-I know it can be hard-with my current pregnancy the baby will be due around the same time as what the baby I miscarried was due. That is what's making me even more paranoid that I'm going to lose it! And as for your CD36, mine have been all over the place and just for good measure to really throw me I once had a CD62-although I'm now wondering if I miscarried then without really noticing as it was a bit heavier than usual. Anyway I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for your next cycle (my top tip if you are interested is to make sure you orgasm after your partner has come-even if this means doing it yourself after he has gone to the bathroom! Apparently this works because the contractions you experience with orgasm help to propel the sperm up into your womb and it's worked for me every time! You just have to make sure you get your dates right-or do this every time you have sex!!). Good luck x

cece · 20/04/2008 10:56

Thanks for the tip.

She had a post mortem but no reason was found. Our hospital alone loses on average 4 per month during the second trimester. I was quite shocked as it really is something you never hear about is it?

chocciedooby · 20/04/2008 11:44

So sorry to hear about your losses Cece and Crissie
