Hi @Rainbow2024 how are you doing?xx

@Hopeful588 hey! I'm ok. Been feeling on & off past 3/4 days. Exhausted, headaches, the odd bit of nausea at certain smells (not frequent). Found I was extra tired after a days commuting in London. Feel less battered today after a wfh day yesterday. Boobs are tender, sensitive but not all the time. Def feel more tired in general this week. What about you? Have you considered an early scan? I feel like it's helped me SO much and finally I've stopped symptom spotting & feel more relaxed.

Hopeful588 · 19/07/2023 08:43

@Rainbow2024 glad you’re doing good! Last week I was adamant on getting an early scan but couldn’t as my husband was going away. He’s back now and is fine with us having one but I feel like I want to wait (even though I am worried) I just feel that waiting until 12 weds would be a milestone. I can’t explain haha
I have on/off sore boobs, bloating and indigestion at times, I am exhausted by the end of the day and I wfh everyday, also have increased cervical mucus occasionally.. but I still don’t have the sickness and I don’t know why but until (if ever) I get it, I won’t feel at ease! Bizarre hey!

@Hopeful588 as long as your anxiety isn't get the better of you. 100% wait it's def a milestone indeed! I really wouldn't worry too much about the nausea I have more friends that did not get it, then did. My mother in law had none with all 3 of her boys. I've been bloated from the get go, I have the odd days it's less but that's very normal. My nausea if I've had it, has been pretty infrequent & not major it's actually quite a large % of women who never even get it. My most frequent thing now is the headaches. Day 2 of constant. I had my call with the midwife yesterday & should get my scan date through soon. 🥰 I Definitely feel like the weeks going quicker for me already 🙏 roll on 4 weeks. All your symptoms all sound very normal so I really wouldn't worry about sickness. X

Hopeful588 · 19/07/2023 09:00

@Rainbow2024 thank you! I’m doing a lot better than last week. Last week my anxiety was through the roof! This week I’m more at ease but have the odd day where I feel a bit down. Surprisingly I actually know quite a few people who didn’t get any nausea too, my sister in law only found out she was pregnant at 8 weeks and only because she had one day feeling off and then realised she hadn’t had a period! Another sister in law only started having slight nausea at 9 weeks. But for some reason I still believe I should get it! Haha.
Best of luck for the rest of your journey! And no doubt we will speak soon :) xx

Mangotango39 · 19/07/2023 11:30

@Hopeful588 I'm not sick at all and everything is fine so far (had another scan yesterday 9 +4 and had grew the exact amounts from last)
I think we are blessed woohooo!!!

Hopeful588 · 19/07/2023 11:31

@Mangotango39 thats great news!! How exciting!
Do you have any symptoms?

Mangotango39 · 19/07/2023 12:03

@Hopeful588 other than being shattered , not really this week!

boob pain eased off , constipation went .
lets hope our easier ride continues hey 😄

Strawberry06 · 19/07/2023 12:32

Still no sickness for me either! I'm still bloated and still have sore nipples. I've felt really tired this last week but not sure if its cause I'm not sleeping great. Though on Monday I woke up with a slight sore throat which I had before when I was about 6 weeks. I've read it can be a symptom. I was 11 weeks yesterday.

Rainbow2024 · 19/07/2023 12:32

@Mangotango39 congratulations! That's wonderful news! I have a scan booked for 9+3 🌈🙏🥰
Glad to hear your symptoms aren't too bad either.
@Hopeful588 I forgot to say, I also have the cervical mucus etc which is all very normal. I feel like I've wet myself often. I'm exhausted all day everyday, just feel like I really lack that normal energy level that I usually haves. I also have a larger appetite which I guess isn't often the case if your sick with pregnancy but trying to watch what I eat to a degree 🙏

Rainbow2024 · 19/07/2023 12:33

@Strawberry06 I feel a bit like that. Just run down sort of feeling, bunged up which I've also read can me a side affect. 'sinus issues'

Hopeful588 · 19/07/2023 14:43

@Mangotango39 @Rainbow2024 @Strawberry06 thank you for your replies. It’s so reassuring hearing other people’s experiences and having others go through the journey at the same time. Thank you again and wishing you all the best ☺️ xx

I’ve had 2 / 3 weeks of feeling very rough & symptoms have tailored off a bit yesterday / today which I am hoping stay away - but also hoping 8 week scan goes ok next week. Hope everyone’s scans go ok!

Hopeful588 · 22/07/2023 19:11

Hi @lou9393 how did your scan go?xx

Hi @Hopeful588, really good thanks! Thank you for asking. Measured at 12+2 on Tuesday which is what the initial thought was so due at the very end of January, sonographer seemed pleased with baby's progress and said there was a strong heartbeat. Still no symptoms but feeling much more real now having seen him/her squirming about at the scan! How are you doing?

Hopeful588 · 23/07/2023 07:19

Hi @lou9393 thats wonderful! Really pleased for you! So nice to hear happy outcomes!☺️
l’m good thank you. I don’t have my first scan for a few weeks yet. I don’t have very many symptoms, only the occasional sore boobs. Sometimes I can’t help but worry and some days I feel more positive and trust my body.
Do you have any symptoms at all? I don’t know if I should “feel pregnant” daily? I feel normal!

lou9393 · 23/07/2023 21:38

@Hopeful588 Thank you! Ahh, the wait for the scan just seems to take forever! Good luck for when it finally arrives. No symptoms; sore boobs I had very early on but disappeared completely around week 7 I think it was, I do feel tired but I'm generally not sleeping great with a few things on my mind so I don't think pregnancy is entirely to blame. If my jeans weren't getting a bit tighter I'd forget I was pregnant, I feel completely normal!

hi @Strawberry06 how did your scan go?xx

Thank you so much for remembering/asking! I was going to come on and update! It was perfect! The relief is immense. I was in so much pain cause my bladder was sooo full lol so I feel I didn't really take it in and I completely burst into tears when she said 'well there's definitely a baby there'. But they were wriggling around so much and even turned to wave at us it was so cute!

I've been an anxious mess all week but I am so happy. It just goes to show symptoms aren't everything cause I've had no sickness and even my sore nipples had tailed off a bit

Rainbow2024 · 28/07/2023 13:43

@Strawberry06 wonderful news! Congratulations!! So pleased for you!! X

@Hopeful588 @Strawberry06 I had a 9w3 day scan Friday. Saw our bubba moving it's arms & legs. It was the most magical experience ever! Lady who scanned us was SO reassuring & really knew her stuff. I explained I'd been worried about not experiencing symptoms & she said many ppl don't! I am finally completely embracing lack of sickness as I know our baby is growing nicely. She told me to breath & trust the process which was such sound advice! We really are the lucky ones to lack the awful symptoms so far! Xx

Hopeful588 · 30/07/2023 10:29

@Rainbow2024 thats amazing! Congratulations!!!! Must be the best feeling to see 🥰 it’s soo nice to read multiple positive stories!
My scan isn’t for another two weeks yet. Have a few symptoms but nothing major.. the sore breasts are also decreasing but I’ve read that’s quite common!

Rainbow2024 · 30/07/2023 13:08

@Hopeful588 thank you so much. Such a relief. My boobs aren't hurting anyway. Tender in the mornings when I get up sometimes. But that's it. I'm just tired now. So making sure I rest whenever I need to 🙏 you've done so well to wait for your 12. Not long now. Your placenta will start taking over soon too!
