Clearblue still says 1-2 weeks?

Hi ladies just need abit of help here to work out if this is right... LMP was 08.05.2023, tested for ovulation this month for the first time using clear blue digital sticks (purple ones) - got my static smiley on cycle day 16!.. so say I ovulate on cycle day 17 which would make it the 24th May - I would be 15dpo is that right? Just tested this morning with a clearblue digital and it still says 1-2 weeks?.. I'm confused and just need some reassurance as I'm worrying that's all 🤦‍♀️ TIA x

I'm getting gradually more and more nervous about this scan on Wednesday. Just feel like it's not going to be good news :(

Hey @LavenderSweetPea I'm doing ok - awww try not to worry! Remember, you can't control what will happen but statistically it's more likely to be ok than not ok. I'm going to hopefully get to next week, and then go for an early scan somewhere between 7-8 weeks, and then another at about 10 weeks (which is when I had my loss before). How far along will you be for your scan?

I'll be 6+3 technically, but I ovulate a bit later than the standard 28 say cycle so I think I'll be more like 6+1 if you know what I mean? I think it'll be too early to see a heartbeat, but I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that firstly it's not in the tube this time and that we see a fetal pole. I know you don't always at 6 weeks but it would make me feel much better.

Either way as of yesterday I'm now further along in my pregnancy than I was with my previous :)

@LavenderSweetPea i’m ok, thank you for asking. How are you? My boobs are sore still and I’m starting to feel really tired and grumpy. X

@Daisydoo12345 getting the sore boobs kind of on and off but that's kind of it. I was super tired over the weekend but I think it was just because it was genuinely exhausting rather than a pregnancy related thing. Kind of hard to tell though.

Also ladies what have you been telling work about going for scans and stuff. I really don't want to say I'm pregnant and need to have appointments but I'm also a terrible liar and I don't think I can just say I'm sick. My boss does know about my previous loss because I had to take a couple of weeks off work while I was in the hospital and there was really no way round it.

@LavenderSweetPea in terms of private scans, my local clinics do scans from 8am and at weekends, so I tend to go outside working hours. Although any appointments during the week I'd just say I have a doctor's appointment. If they ask what for, I always just say something ongoing (which isn't a lie!)

So I went for the scan and it was good news, I can't even believe it! Baby is in the right place (no exploding tubes this time) and we saw a really tiny heartbeat 😀 it's obviously very early days, and although I think I should be measuring 6+1 they measured at only 4mm which they said is less than 6 weeks but not to worry it's just a few days out. Now I just gotta sit back, and hope for the best really.

@LavenderSweetPea that's good news! Really pleased for you, one step down! Will you have any more early scans, or are you waiting for 12 weeks?

@moosey89 The EPAU said they didn't need to see me again until the 12 weeks, but I'll definitely go for a private scan before that, maybe in 2 weeks time but I'll see how I get on. I'd go every day for reassurance if I could afford it!

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX I'm keeping everything crossed for you, I felt like your hcg results were really reassuring, I'd be surprised if you didn't have good news for us on Friday as well 😃

@LavenderSweetPea haha yep I know that feeling! Just booked my first scan for next Thursday, assuming I get there I'll be 7+5 then, so should give a good guidance on where I'm at. More than a little terrified, but better to know that not know in my opinion!

@moosey89 I totally agree with you, I'd rather just know. I'll be hoping for the best for you too on Thursday. At 7+5 you should be out of the grey area and they'll be able to give you a firm answer. Obviously today was the date the EPAU gave me, but I was SO nervous because it's such a borderline time where maybe you see a baby and a heartbeat or maybe you don't and just because you don't doesn't mean there won't be one but it doesn't really help you know what's going on.

@LavenderSweetPea I realised after I wrote it we all have the same LMP. Sorry 🙈 Did they give you a due date? X

@LavenderSweetPea I estimated 14/15th Feb for mine as I have 31 day cycles 🤷🏼‍♀️ x

@Daisydoo12345 I think on my scan report they wrote two differed EDD, one based on the LMP and one about 5 days later on how they measured the pregnancy. But I can't remember either of the dates 🙈 I'll have to check when I get home but they said at the 12 weeks scan they would give me one 'confirmed' EDD based on the measurements at that time

@Daisydoo12345 Oh that's so exciting! Congratulations ❤ in which case I must be 13 Feb because they measured me at 5+6 (2 days ago so now 6+1)
