Clearblue still says 1-2 weeks?

Hi ladies just need abit of help here to work out if this is right... LMP was 08.05.2023, tested for ovulation this month for the first time using clear blue digital sticks (purple ones) - got my static smiley on cycle day 16!.. so say I ovulate on cycle day 17 which would make it the 24th May - I would be 15dpo is that right? Just tested this morning with a clearblue digital and it still says 1-2 weeks?.. I'm confused and just need some reassurance as I'm worrying that's all 🤦‍♀️ TIA x

@LavenderSweetPea didn't realise you have had an ectopic! that's exactly why I'm having bloods as I have had pain in my left lower side and brown discharge went to doctors yesterday and she got intouch with my local epau they couldn't scan me as they said it would be to early to see anything! Your local epau should defiantly be taking your bloods to make sure as you have had a history of ectopic! Can't you go to your doctors and request she puts a referral in due to history of ectopic and say that it's affecting your mental health maybe? For me it's a first time ever of having bloods done... but earlier in week i self referred to the recurrent misscarriage clinic in Leeds due to my 3 recurrent losses and I have my first early scan on the 23rd 🤞

@Daisydoo12345 if you don't mind me asking how old are you now like? And blood group - O? Isn't that really rare or something x

I’m 31 now. How old are you and your boys? Yes it is and can be dangerous x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX I'll think about calling them next week and seeing if I can get some bloods done sooner. But I suppose the thing is, if it is ectopic again then I'll be finding out eventually anyway, bloods or no. There's nothing that can be done to fix it if it is.

They did say to go in straight away if there were any issues (given the higher risk)

@Daisydoo12345 I'm 27 and my boys ages are 9, 6, 5 & 7 months.. did a clear blue digital this morning and got my 2-3 weeks!! 😊
@LavenderSweetPea yes I think you should do that better to be safe than sorry isn't it x

Congratulations on your 2-3 weeks! I only found out this time around (pregnancy number 3) that if your test says 2-3 then you're actually 4-5 weeks pregnant! So although originally you were getting 1-2 weeks, your dates would have put you at 3-4 weeks! Hope that makes sense!

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX That’s lovely, i’d love a big family but after 2 I was done (I thought) 🙈 I only have my Mum for child care during the week and she’s 70 this year bless her. I’m an only child and so is DP. I caved and did one an hour ago and it still says 1-2weeks…promised myself I wouldn’t worry but I am 😂 I have drank a lot this morning though 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈 x

@cossie13 I understand what you mean 😊 I think I was just worrying as I was comparing to my last pregnancy last year as going from 1-2 - 2-3 only took 4 days as I have looked back at photos and this time around its took 6 days so was thinking things aren't going right! 🤦‍♀️ but for now they must be 🤞 how far along are you? x

@Daisydoo12345 well I have looked back at our messages and if you said ovulation could of been 24th or 25th, it's either a case of you have drank too much so it's diluted your urine or if you did ovulate on 25th you probably will get your 2-3 weeks tomorrow hun x we're twins at end of the day 🤣 so try not to worry too much, praying for both of us that we have sticky little beans lol x

Aren't our bodies wonderful yet confusing things? I'm about 8 weeks now, still very early days. Got our 12 week scan on the 10th July and time feels like it's dragging!!

@cossie13 our bodies are definatly weird but wonderful! awww 8 weeks, how are you feeling symptom wise? so are you due in January sometime then? x

I did speak to my EPAU but have decided I won't be going for bloods. They said that hcg rates that fail to rise can indicate all sorts of things, not just ectopic, and i've decided that unless I have any symptoms or issues I'd rather just sit tight for my scan so I can know conclusively one way or the other.

@Daisydoo12345 @LavenderSweetPea just thought I would let you know went for my 2nd blood test today and they are now at 221.. feel unsure as nurse said she still can't be certain if it is a viable pregnancy or not? Tbf they do seem abit on the low side as I have googled the ranges 🤔 I'm happy they have doubled but just feel unsure by what she said, didn't really sound positive tbf! xx

@Daisydoo12345 she said no point taking any bloods as they have doubled, cancelled my scan on Monday as she said they probably won't see anything and booked me in for a scan on friday(16th) instead.. Just feel like crap with her not so positive sounding attitude

Yeah she could have dealt with it better instead of making you feel rubbish and question things. The levels have doubled and although low they are in range so lets be positive! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 for your scan Friday x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX the levels doubling sounds like a really positive sign to me. Must be unlikely to be ectopic, but I know it's going to be such a long wait until you're scan 😞 keep us posted though. Are you still feeling the pain where you were before?

I'm wondering whether to take another weeks tester test to see if I've got to 3+ weeks yet. Don't know if that's going to be just torturing myself though 😂

I haven’t even had my 2-3 week yet 🙈 probably will try soon as surely its moved up by now.

Ive started the last two days with headaches 😩 not what I want as I’m scared to take any medication even though I know paracetamol is considered safe
