Clearblue still says 1-2 weeks?

Hi ladies just need abit of help here to work out if this is right... LMP was 08.05.2023, tested for ovulation this month for the first time using clear blue digital sticks (purple ones) - got my static smiley on cycle day 16!.. so say I ovulate on cycle day 17 which would make it the 24th May - I would be 15dpo is that right? Just tested this morning with a clearblue digital and it still says 1-2 weeks?.. I'm confused and just need some reassurance as I'm worrying that's all 🤦‍♀️ TIA x

@Daisydoo12345 I'm with you on the no medication - struggling through my hayfever and headaches because I don't want to take even the most tiny risk!

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX I got my 2-3 on Thursday, so then I think on Thursday I should get the 3+ obviously if I do it'll reassure me, but if I don't it could send me off the deep end that is ectopic again. Hmmm.

In other news I had to run for the bus today and turns out that when I do that my boobs are really sore (I'm not overly gifted in the chest department so this is not a normal state of affairs for me!)

I got my 2-3 on Friday so do I wait until then to take mine? & I'm sure that's a good sign to me if your boobs are sore; Mine aren't! but they seem to be growing according to my partner 🤣 & im exactly the same as you, never been gifted in chest department too 🤣 but I suppose that's why I have a big bum instead! Haha how you generally feeling in yourself anyways? Have you got any more symptoms? x

@moosey89 OMG my hayfever is literally driving me insane I don’t know how I’m going to cope. I did have paracetamol yesterday for the headache but just don’t want it to become a regular thing. I wish fexofenadine was safe because it’s the only thing that gives me slight relief from hayfever

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX we are on basically the same timings! Lmp was 7 May, 2-3 weeks on digital I got on Friday!

@Daisydoo12345 yep mine is awful! I know loratadine or cetirizine won't touch it this year (I've already tried them before I got pregnant) so no point trying them again anyway.

Just joining in… I got my 1-2 weeks and 2-3 weeks right on time but it hasn’t moved up to 3+. Heard lots of people say they never got 3+ but had successful pregnancies and to stop testing as it’s torturing myself but I can’t stop!!

I went for an early scan at what I thought was 6w5d and they measured me at 5weeks and too soon for a heart beat. Scan booked for 2 weeks later which is a week today. Hoping just the dates are wrong.

No sickness for me, just sore boobs and more tired than usual!

@Hedgehugs 👋 morning, what days roughly past ovulation did you get 1-2 then your 2-3?

If it's any help, OP I didn't test with CB until I was 6 weeks then got 3+ 🙂 just as well because when I went for my scan I was a week behind. Turned out I had ovulated later than I thought!

So guys I’ve just done another weeks indicator and it’s 3+ now 😁 makes me feel better as Friday is was still saying 1-2 weeks x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX no apart from sore boobs I've got nothing. I do feel kinda nauseous and not hungry but it's very consistent with how I feel when I'm anxious so I think it's that rather than pregnancy or even could be the heat.

@Hedgehugs I'm sure that 3+ is coming for you, how many DPO are you now?

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX did you do another test yet? keeping my fingers crossed for you too, and not too long to wait until your scan.

EPAU called yesterday as well and have moved forward my scan to Wednesday (next week) I know it's likely to be too soon to see a heartbeat or anything but I'm SO longing for this pregnancy to be in the right place.

Which would make it 6 days from my last one.. really glad you have spoke to EPAU that is positive news, will update you on Friday once I have had my scan! I feel nervous as first time this morning I hadn't felt sick :/

& like an idiot today took me last digital test and still says 2-3! 😞

Try not to worry! I know that’s easy to say but the tests aren’t 100% reliable. Mine went from 1-2weeks to 3+ within 4 days how does that make sense?! Plus some people say they never get 3+ xx

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX I'm sorry to hear that :( I'm sure that's made you feel a bit low. Try not to worry, it's been less than a week since you got your 2-3. I feel like if hcg doubles every couple of days, by the time you get to 5/6 weeks pregnant there's going to be a big difference in peoples levels between the people like yourself who have naturally lower levels to start with and people who maybe have higher levels, so I'm thinking these tests get less accurate as time goes on.

Hopefully you'll feel better after your scan tomorrow - maybe you can ask for another blood test while you are there to check your hcg as well. If not, i've bought a couple of tests hcg home blood tests from medichecks, they're kind of pricey (but less than going for a proper private blood test) which I might use if I dont get a test at the EPAU next week.

Also, might be worth bearing in mind if you've been preparing for pregnancy for a while and taking conception/pregnancy supplements that contain biotin (lots of them do) it can make your hormone levels appear lower than they are on blood tests.

@LavenderSweetPea was 6 days when I got my first 2-3 from 1-2 according to lmp I am 5weeks & 3 days & estimated only 22dpo so I'm not sure, felt like a real downer to see 2-3 still.. just hoping my scan goes well for tomorrow! Haven't been taking pregnancy vitamins either x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX if you're 5+3 then you still have at least 4 days before you'd expect to see 3+ anyway (as 3+ means 6+ weeks in pregnancy weeks!) so try not to worry. I hope your scan tomorrow helps calm your nerves. Remember it's all about your baseline number increasing, not how high it is, and some people never get 3+ but go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. I got to 2-3 weeks and stopped taking them because it was making me paranoid, and I'm a day or 2 ahead of you xx

If it helps, I got my first 2-3 on a Saturday and was still 2-3 the following Saturday. Didn't get my 3+ until the Monday

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX @Daisydoo12345 my friend is always joking that I'm going to have twins some day. DH and I have struggled to get pregnant, we've been trying for nearly 2 years :( would be kind of funny to end up with two in one after all of this!
