Possible 2 baby fathers :(

Hi please no judgement as I’m already very scared and anxious about the whole situation.
so I could have two possible fathers to my my child.

I slept with a man on 7th jan 2023 just once
I then slept with my partner from 10th jan onwards most days.
I had a period on the 11th jan until 14th jan

I had negative tests on the 10th jan 17th jan 19th 24th and 25th

I got my very very faint positive on the 1st of February
Mon the 2nd of feb I did a clear blue which said 1-2 weeks.

ive used online calculators and it says i convinced around 21st jan does this sound right
I’m due October 14th

And just to add I’m not scared in case the bleeding was implation luckily I took a photo of my period on the 12th as it was heavy to show my gp. I showed my midwife she’s said it looks like my period not implantation and I shouldn’t t worry but I can’t help but worry x

You can have paternity testing whilst pregnant. It sounds like DP is the most likely candidate though.

We right thank you ! I’m just so anxious as you can probably imagine.. on the conception calculators it says my due date would have to be over 2 week’s difference for it not to be my partner are the scans very accurate? X

Also if it was the other man’s then surely I wouldn’t of had a period my heads all over the place I’ve been non stop worrying xx

How long are your cycles normally?

My periods are not regular I had my last one on the 24th dec and I have spoken to my midwife she is so understanding she said going from dates and because of my period or bleeding on the 11th it’s definitely my current partners x

Some people think you can have periods during pregnancy. You can't. You can have vaginal bleeding but not a proper menstrual cycle. So if it was a normal period for you, it is your partner's baby.

It’s very likely your partners but he will probably want a DNA test.

If your periods are irregular, I would do a dna test. I had a few heavy bleedings in my first trimester (with clots etc) that were luckily not a miscarriage, but could easily be mistaken for a period bleeding.

You must have had a scan by now. What's your due date according to that?

I’ve had multiple scans. My due date is October 14th as I stated x

I had a scan at 5 weeks 7 weeks 9 weeks and 12 weeks x

And 15 weeks I have another scan tomorrow at 21 weeks 3 days x

my 5 7 and 12 week was hospital scans and 2 private scans. I was having scans as I’ve had complications in previous pregnancy’s.

So you had a period after you had finished sleeping with the other guy. Surely it's impossible that it's his! Why is anyone suggesting a dna test? Unless there is some super sperm which can survive for weeks!

Yes I bled heavy as my normal period from the 11th until 14th normal for me… im obviously just very anxious and scared incase baby’s not my partners xx

I can see why you're anxious but it's your partner's. If your due date is 14 October then you conceived on 21 Jan and that's 11 days after your period which makes sense. Don't torture yourself; it's your partner's.
