Iv literally been getting lightening crotch since last night. Literally what a few ppl have been saying, I'm only 35 +3 and the kicks or movement are so painful and actually making me shout out loud. I feel like a foot or hand is going to pop out. Surely it's too early for baby to engage or get into the pelvis?

@tigerlily0 it is early but I think possible. It's so uncomfortable, last night it kept waking me up as well.

We had baby on the 27th, completely over the moon and in love and feeding was going so well but baby blues have hit and Ive cried all day.

Trying to let myself heal but this is the worst I've had them and I don't want to let them ruin this precious time I have. Anyone else suffered ?

36+3 tomorrow and my last growth scan. Ds was 5lb 2 at 32wks so will see what weight he is. He's still breech and is showing no sign of turning. I'm expecting an ecv and section chat tomorrow afternoon

@TisforTucan congratulations! I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a bad day - hopefully that’s all it is, and today is a new day. I’m a FTM so literally know nothing, but one of my friends recently became a FTM and told me to prepare myself for crying all day on about day 5 postpartum - that seems pretty close to where you were, so could it be that it’s hormones and all those things, and it will settle? Try not to worry about missing precious time, you don’t need that pressure, and it sounds like you’re doing a great job!

Joining the crying party, I just can't stop today. I'm feeling so overwhelmed. I don't want to be induced. I don't want to give birth. I don't trust the hospital I'm registered at. I am not ready for Wednesday.

Tomorrow is my big day as well. I’ve been feeling okay, carrying on as normal, is really starting to set in now.

Today's been better because I spent the whole day cleaning and gardening 😂 can't cry if I'm not thinking and I can't think if I'm busy!!

We built the cot today as well and it still doesn't feel real 🙈

Got my growth scan yesterday and wee man is 6lb 15oz. To go back in 2wks as fluid has dipped from 17 to 9 and if still low will be induced then if not its booked for 26th

I've got my c section today. I've never felt so many mixed emotions at 4am! Good luck to everyone else who has theirs booked today as well!

I'm being induced today and they've asked me to come in at 4! I feel quite relieved, it's like I get an extra day with the bump.

Any one else struggling with colostrum harvesting! It's actually getting me quite down and frustrated. I feel like I'm doing something wrong even though I'm following what they say but no clue if its right or not because it isn't working.

I'm sure these negative emotions don't help either ffs

I've not started yet - I'm hoping to start trying this weekend. However I have read that it is normal to not be able to harvest any and it doesn't affect any future breastfeeding attempts so I aren't getting myself in a pickle if I can't do it. These last few weeks are stressful enough. I'm still working, got a wedding to plan, and finally confronted the weirdo that's been watching our houses with binoculars in the night 🙄

@Appleby11 wow that is a lot going on. Hope you get it all sorted and congrats on the wedding.

I need to nit be so hard on myself tbh. I'll keep trying periodically and if u get done great if not then OK.

Thank you 🤗 it is hard but all we can do is try. I hope you manage to get some. And like you say, don't be so hard on yourself. This is our third go at IVF and it's shown me that not everything works and all I can do is accept it.

@Hoping4baby21 How are you expressing, by hand? I get minimal when I do it by hand but whacked a breast pump on and got 5ml in 1 sitting. Why don’t you try that if you’re comfortable (it can supposedly induce labour!)

@Hoping4baby21 I’ve tried twice to get colostrum, the first time I only got a couple of drops but the second time I managed a quarter of a syringe. Still not great but I’ve frozen it anyway! I think I read that you should try slowly to start with over a few days rather than trying to get loads at once. Don’t worry :)

Baby was due 30th April but he still hasn't appeared yet (40+5)! No signs of twinges or pain yet, hoping he'll make an appearance soon

I had a little boy on 3rd May by ElCS - I was super nervous but it was such a lovely experience, and I am really enjoying being a Mummy so far.
