How old were you with first child?

I’m just curious to know how old everyone was when they got pregnant with their first child? My friend is 30, single and in an absolute panic that she’s not there yet so just looking to give her some reassurance.

Pregnant at 33 and gave birth at 34. Everyone in my antenatal group was over 30, so shes not in an unusual position.

38 & 39 when DD was born. I remember feeling panicked about this too! Hope this ends up reassuring her.

Pregnant and 25 and gave birth at 26. Everyone's life and time scales are different. We had known fertility issues so wanted to try as soon as we were in a position to. Our baby is IVF.

Friends of same age are not there yet, I would say I was fairly young but had been with DH for 6 years/10 years, lived together for 4 already by time we were having children so I'd say your friend is in the majority :)

1st: pregnant at 29 had baby at 29
2nd: pregnant at 31 had baby 8 days after my 32nd birthday
3rd: pregnant at 33 had baby 8 days before my 34th birthday

33 (almost 34). In our antenatal group, only one of the mums was under 32 and of all of my friends, I only have one that’s had children before 30. Just trying to say that she’s definitely not too late, I think 30+ is quite usual now in a way that it wasn’t in even my mum’s generation.

34, 35 when I actually had her. Pregnant again at 39 but sadly miscarried.

I was 19 and 21 when I had my first two DC, not many other mums as young at the school gate.
Then 28 and 35, many mums a similar age at school.

Pregnant at 23, had her at 24 with my first. 28 for my second (and last). We have been together since teenagers so although young, probably followed the usual timeline in terms of moving in, having babies etc.
