ds2 9 mths

Had unprotected SEX ONCE on day after AF finished.
Infact have had sex once in the last 8 weeks...
I'm NEVER EVER doing it again
FFS DP is on waiting list for vasectomy.
How the fuck will I cope, I leave long age gaps for a reason...
Shit shit shit.
am being a wimp as house is big, car can get an extra seat, ds1 and dd and even ds2 are angels.

But DP works long hours gone at 6am home at 8pm
Not sure I can do it on my own.
What if i have not finished bf ds2 by then?

Piggy · 10/01/2008 15:02

Congratulations Piffle. I have loads of baby stuff you are more than welcome to have. I had a scare recently after a day 8, ahem, incident. I had convinced myself it was impossible to get pg on day 8 but I still panicked. I guess you've proved me wrong!

Piffle · 10/01/2008 15:03

have 20 months between DS1 and 2.

Smnall age gaps are fab

Good luck, and congratulations!!!!

Buda · 10/01/2008 15:07

Oh wow Piffle! A bit but very for you.

Seems that a lot of these totally unexpected babies just seem to sneak in to life very determinedly bring worry and chaos and above all love and joy and fun with them (we'll ignore the tiredness for a mo as that will pass).

Many many congratulations.

hunkermunker · 10/01/2008 15:08

Oh, Piffle!

Congratulations, my lovely.

I have a small age gap and it sent me a bit mental for a while, but I'm OK honestly.

If you haven't finished bf DS2, bf 'em both. Lots of benefits of doing that (although I did imagine bf my DS2 and a baby this morning and him bashing the baby on the head and saying "No, MINE!" whilst wearing a Roary racing car hat - I have odd daydreams)

And have a huge hug. You can do this and you'll have servants older children to help you.

Carmenere · 10/01/2008 15:08

OOH Congratulations Piffle

pinkdolly · 10/01/2008 15:14

Congratulations Piffle, you will be fine. Small age gaps do have their bonuses. I am expecting my 4th, currently have dd1 5, dd2 4, dd3 17 months. There is only 14 months between dd1 and 2 and they are really great and play lovely together (most of the time).

ladytophamhatt · 10/01/2008 15:55

Oh Piffle, I'm really touched that you thought of us first.

I think its FAB news.

Piffle · 10/01/2008 15:55

Thanks for all teh happy ending folks.
Hunker I am just coming out of the most mental phase now I think - ds2 really is a dream, good sleeper, easy to settle and good natured. ds1 is a massive help and dd is one girl baby entertainment system.

Mum just rung back
Oh I wonder if it's twins then...
Oh she is a one honestly
Then she mentioned Aunty Sheila.
Yes she had 4 daughters and tried one last time for a boy... got twin girls

You are kinda like i was lol.

Ds1 is 16 and ds2 is 12 for same reasons as you most likely.

Then had dd1 who is 3.5 and whilst thinking that one day far off in future we may have a 4th found out i was pg with dd2 who is 16 months.

Was terrified, still co-sleeping and bfing dd1 at the time too.

DDs are hard work(i won't lie to you) but great fun and generally very close and good fun

Congrats and good luck!!

ladytophamhatt · 10/01/2008 16:15

Just noticed tha DH is locked inthe bunker until 6pm....does he know yet/?

what did he say?

DH laughed when I told him I was PG with ds4, I'd been dreading telling him...and he laughed!

ladytophamhatt · 10/01/2008 16:18

Ditto sparkly.
Until very recently we both wanted another one...then DH changed his mind again, even though it was him taht convinced me that we should.

GIT!

TheIceQueen · 10/01/2008 16:35

omg - I go out for the afternoon and come back to find this!

Congratulations - you'll cope brilliantly

NorthernLurker · 10/01/2008 16:36

Congratulations and good luck. We have used an Ikea cot for dd2 and dd3 is now in it - cheap but effective!
I;m adding myself to the 'no sex on day eight club' as well!!

TheIceQueen · 10/01/2008 16:38
