Congratulations @Mountaingoat31! There'll likely be more to see at 9 weeks. In my first pregnancy I had a scan 6+5, this time my scan was at 8 weeks and the difference was incredible.

@GodspeedJune all being well I should be 7 + 4 at my scan too. Last time round I was more like 8 and a half weeks which was more of a nerve racking wait but less of a wait to the 12 week scan. I think 7 + 4 is a good compromise!!

@GodspeedJune and @womaninkent, yes the coming and going if symptoms is driving me mad. Had a proper two days where I hardly felt anything and panicked and today they’re back in full force. I’m knackered and feeling so nauseous, it unpleasant but reassuring.

I may well investigate a private scan, except we are planning to do the Harmony test privately and that is £££. I’m also a midwife so have access to scans but don’t want to give in to my worry…if I scan today, what will stop me from checking tomorrow and the day after and… Im also not keen on letting my colleagues know just yet.

Fingers crossed for everyone on this bumpy ride xx

@becarefuloutthere how's it going? I'm wondering if we've not heard because you've not yet had your baby, or if it's because you're busy with your baby. Either way, hope you're doing well. 💕

@Begoniagal7 not sure you should have admitted to being a midwife on a thread full of anxious pregnant ladies! 😂 Seriously though, was it tough being in that job and going through infertility?

Hello all, just creeping in to lurk very anxiously while I wait for my early scan in 6 days. I'm currently 6 weeks 4 days (approx, unsure how to date a FET).
It's lovely to recognise names from my lurking on other IVF threads.

6 weeks 6 days according to that. Chester had said I was 4 weeks on the day of my pregnancy test (Valentine's) so that's obviously not quite right!

Just a little update from me, now 11 weeks and just had the NIPT results back, all clear for the tristomies and I'm having another little boy 💙 over the moon that baby is (so far) healthy and feel so very lucky 🥰

@GodspeedJune All they care about really is their measurments on scan. The sonographer had me at 1 week ahead of FET due date on first measurement, but then tried a couple more time as fetus was being awkward, but the smallest measurement she could get down to was 4 days early. FET babies are meant to be big though, and was in awkward spot, but thats what they're going with. We opted for the combined screening test, and all came back low risk yesterday which was a positive bit of news

Ooh it's getting to crunch time soon! I loved the last trimester. (In hindsight, not at the time cos of my pgp). U having a baby shower?

How are you recovering from the birth?

Ah that sounds nice. Yeah I did have one, few pics are on my insta. It was just a few friends at my house organised by my sister. Was really nice!
Recovery is going well according to the midwives but it defo hurts a lot still! But in terms of healing, they're happy with how it looks. It's just quite sore for me getting about, so they've said to just stay still for a few days. I have friends visiting tomorrow n Monday but that shouldn't be too strenuous 😅
