When did you go into labour with your 1st?

And were you trying the tricks (walking, sex, hot food, RLT, bouncing...etc) ?

40+1 and delivered at 40+2.

I was bouncing on the ball a lot and tried eating spicy food.

40+5 - born 40+6.

I walked a lot any way and ate a hot curry the night before.

Tried everything. 42+1 day is was scheduled to be induced.

39+4 .... I was bouncing / sitting on the ball everyday from 39 weeks

I’m 32+4 and wondering this as well. It’s the not knowing that’s the worst.

41+1 things started. Finally in active labour 41+5. Born 41+6. Definitely underestimated how long early labour can be although now know this is quite common for a first labour.

38+6 out of the blue, I was lying on the sofa, stood up and flooded the floor 😂

38+6 I was walking around the park and my waters slowly break. It didn't progress further than a mkld "leak" for hours so I had to be induced.

40 weeks exactly, he was born at 8am the next morning. I didn't really do anything apart from bouncing on my birth ball!

DS1 was around 40+7 - I had him at 40+10
DS2 was 40+5 - I had him at 40+7

Oh, I didn’t really do anything with either. I think we did have sex with DS1 when I was overdue out of desperation lol

I walked alot, had hot curries, had sex, had 4 sweeps and no natural labour. Got induced at 42 +5 and 2 later when things still weren't moving along I had a csection.

Baby came just under two weeks early. I strongly believe babies come when they are ready and the more you stress about eating curry and whatever else the less it helps.

The night before I was due to go into hospital for a planned CS.

Nothing, just went into labour at 38 weeks.

Waters broke suddenly at 1am the day after my due date. I woke up thinking I needed the loo (again), sat up and whooosh. DS1 arrived that afternoon.

DS2 arrived the day before his due date. I have very punctual children 😁

My contractions started at 39+6, she was born at 40+1 little sod!

41+5 with my first.

No hadn't tryed anything at that point. However I didn't finish work till 38 weeks and then moved house so had kept busy up till birth.

38+1, waters broke at 2.30am in bed, had her that evening. Much faster than I expected so no need for any of the tricks for me!

40 +4. Had 2 sweeps prior, had done walks, sex, curries etc. I don't think any of it worked ha. He came out in his own time

39+4 I was fed up so had a good shag, i think it done the trick!

36+6, very surprised!!
