Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

@Loulabelle90 you don't need to worry. They absolutely won't have lied. And I read a statement from them that said the events where more than 2 years ago and they have improved practices. Let me see if I can find it! Honestly if they said the heartbeat was fine it will be xx

@WingingIt2021

Here you go!
Thanks @WingingIt2021

Do you have a link to that? I can't see the text lol. Luckily I have my nhs scan this Thursday which will be more accurate. I was saying to my husband surely the people who've had bad experiences must be like a drop in the ocean compared to how many women they scan xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/11/2020 11:24

@Redfoot89 I'm going to start taking b6 apparently 25mg 3x daily can really help!

@Blossom428 that's exciting about booking apt!!!! Yeah mines on Wednesday at 3! It's an hour long phone app!

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 23/11/2020 11:30

Well I've continuously taken b6 since the start to help my Short LP, and have also taken it since finding out- I did read it about it helping with sickness too. So maybe that's helping it keep it bay 🤞🏽
@AnxiousAnnie86 Ooooh busy week for you.
Mine is a face to face appt. I'm sure you will have to have blood tests at some point as well.

Redfoot89 · 23/11/2020 13:19

@Blossom428 yes ive read stuff about them being unreliable too so i wouldn't worry.

Oh have you? Ive to wait on my midwife contacting me, they said it would be between 7 and 9 weeks 🤷‍♀️.

Officially week 6 today! Smells are definitely affecting me. Theres a guy that works with me who wears SO much aftershave 🤢🤮 but i cant say anything without telling them haha!

Redfoot89 · 23/11/2020 13:21

@AnxiousAnnie86 ooooh thats interesting about B6 i will have to look into that as its getting so so bad!

Blossom428 · 23/11/2020 14:19

@Redfoot89 well I filled in a form but didn't hear anything, then I found a phone number and they said they would book me in there and then. I like to know what's going on when.

I'm just sad thinking that my partner isn't going to be able to come to the 12week scan. Doubt things will change by January. But it's scary that we have to do it by ourselves without their support. Might slyly record it all so he can at least listen ahah.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/11/2020 14:30

@Blossom428 have you checked local hospital info? I'm in Yorkshire and partners are allowed to come?

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 23/11/2020 14:36

It says for the community midwifes and dating scans must attend appointments alone.
The Fetal Anatomy scan it does say partners are allowed for that one at 20weeks, so that's good at least!
And at birth not untill established labour- but with us having summer babies I'm hope that also changes by when the time comes.
@AnxiousAnnie86
What does it say for yours?

Redfoot89 · 23/11/2020 15:18

@Blossom428 aaah i see. Yeah im same as you i like to know but ill just have to wait.

Ill go for my booking app alone but up here partners are allowed for scans etc thank goodness

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/11/2020 15:41

@Blossom428 it's strange isn't it, as my booking apt is over the phone. She said it's an hour apt?! What happens for an hour over the phone??

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 23/11/2020 16:22

Yeah an hour on the phone is a long time! I guess they go over history and medical stuff. Then she asked me to look at the screening tests and make myself familiar with what tests I can have and if I want them. As it will be discussed and then booked in. Well I guess you can tell us in a couple of days time 😆
@AnxiousAnnie86

WingingIt2021 · 23/11/2020 17:05

@Blossom428 it might change depending on what tier you are in. My hospital is allowing partners to the 12 and 20 week scan and all of actives labour!

@AnxiousAnnie86 my booking apt is 90mins over the phone! Seems so long just to be talking...

Bambi300180 · 24/11/2020 06:25

Morning ladies
Well I booked myself in for my booking appointment with midwife yesterday. Face to face appointment on 15th december. Then scan is 8th January. Hope you are all doing good and not feeling to sickly. Booking my private scan for 2 weeks time when I'm 8+ weeks x

WingingIt2021 · 24/11/2020 06:30

@Bambi300180 that is very exciting! And great it is F2F, mine is over the phone. I really wish for the phone ones they could use Zoom as I find taking over the phone quite hard and impersonal.

So I think I might be getting the start of nausea. I had very very mild nausea all day yesterday. Not bad at all, but the most I've had. This morning it is still there, just want to lie in bed and the thought of food makes me want to retch! Annoying I have zoom meetings all day so need to get dressed and look presentable. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow so probably about right for the sickness to start to build?!

@AnxiousAnnie86 how you feeling about tomorrow?!?!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/11/2020 06:32

@WingingIt2021 I really hope it isn't it for you! I'm getting really quite down now.... I can't function, I can't keep food down... I literally just want to sleep all the time as it's the only time it eases x

OP posts:
Bambi300180 · 24/11/2020 06:48

@AnxiousAnnie86 have you tried everything for the sickness? Maybe ask a pharmacist or GP if there is anything new or different to try.

@WingingIt2021 I was feeling sick all day yesterday but not to bad. Might have been the la vita I stuffed my face with on Sunday though! Lol

Klprr93 · 24/11/2020 06:54

Hi all I'm 4 weeks. My story is so long. I have had clomid till the max dose. I didn't ovulate. Then had Ivf no transfer low reserve (I'm 28) had Ivf again no transfer again. Then it was suggested donor eggs. I paid 10k started the process. I had just started down regulation and I found out I was pregnant Naturally!! Now my obvious worry is can I keep it. I my hcg levels are now at 400, started at 50 on Thursday. I had cramps yesterday but not had any last night or today. I have been told I don't have good egg quality when I did Ivf so I just can't see this ending well my I am preying.
