So I know this is super duper early for me.. I'm 3DPO today and have been feeling very crampy, nauseous and exhausted! (Cant even describe how tired I am!)

I know full well that a fertile egg wouldn't have even implanted yet, so I'm not for one second implying that I'm experiencing early pregnancy symptoms - I assume it's probably the aftermath of ovulating 🤔😅

It got me thinking.. and I wondered if anybody has ever just 'known' that they were pregnant..? Like the first few days post ovulation? I'm just genuinely curious!

I know many family members and also some friends that claim they knew pretty much within the first 3-7DPO! 😅

As I say, I'm not trying to say I 'know' I'm pregnant or anything like that, this is my first cycle TTC so I know that would be extremely lucky.. just curious! X x

Sore nipples. Couldn't stand to have them touched or to touch them.

Extreme dizziness. If I stood up too quickly my vision would go dark and the room would spin, to the extent I needed to hold on to something.

Then tiredness. I could suddenly drink 4-5 mugs of coffee during the day and even in the evening like at 9:30pm and sleep soundly... oopsie!

premum1 · 19/09/2020 21:54

@wigglerose ohh sounds so similar to me!
I'm feeling really tired and almost run down, can't concentrate on anything and feeling super light headed.. my nipples are so sore too!!

Early symptoms are usually the same as pre period symptoms as it's the same hormones. At least was for me, sore boobs, cramps and tiredness. All of which I get the week before my period also

suze28 · 19/09/2020 22:01

For me it was an overwhelming feeling that I needed the loo every half hour.

kateemo · 19/09/2020 22:02

That metallic taste in my mouth.

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:03

@lucymagoo sounds similar to what I am experiencing then.. yesterday I felt so sure that AF was going to make an appearance any moment, even though it wasn't going to as I've just ovulated.. I have cramping sore nipples and I'm so tired it actually hurts to keep my eyes open 🤷‍♀️🤔

@suze28 funny you should say.. I've been needing a wee very frequently, much more so than usual. Who knows what's going on?! 😂🤷‍♀️

Sore boobs like take your breath away painful. Even putting a bra on was agony.

Sevo7 · 19/09/2020 22:08

All my pregnancies, I’ve had mild period like cramps from 7dpo and have always got a very faint positive from 9dpo so don’t know if it’s implantation at that time,it lasts a couple of days and then goes away before returning a few days later. Never had any other symptoms until at least 6 weeks pregnant. Oh except with my first pregnancy where I kept dreaming I was pregnant and had positive tests this was also around 7dpo!

suze28 · 19/09/2020 22:09

I was about 5DPO and was at a shopping centre with my sister who noticed I kept needing a wee. I actually tested a couple of days later and it was positive, this was on about day 27 of a 35 day cycle. (She's now 18 and has just gone to uni).

AquarianSquirrel · 19/09/2020 22:17

Being sick and boob pain.

gg321 · 19/09/2020 22:24

Strong sense of smell, could smell bad breath a mile off 😂

blitzen · 19/09/2020 22:24

Sore boobs which I put down to pmt, but they were extra sore. Couldn't even have the duvet touching them in bed!

MaverickDanger · 19/09/2020 22:25

My very first symptom was that my heart rate shot up (wear a Fitbit).

From when I ovulated to when I tested, you could see my heart rate tracking up, almost one BPM per day.

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:26

Thank you all, by the sounds of it; some of what I'm experiencing sounds similar to you! 🤷‍♀️🥰

Metallic taste in mouth, a huge spot on my chin for the whole 2WW (didn't have another spot during pregnancy). Felt really awful around 3DPO.

BuffaloCauliflower · 19/09/2020 22:30

At 5DPO I went to get into the shower and got a really sharp stabbing pain in the ovary area that made me gasp and double over. Was noticeably different to other feelings in that area so was remembered. Got BFP at 10DPO. I got similar stabby pains in that area for about the first 10 weeks, and at my 12 week scan was told that was the side Id ovulated from and the pains were me feeling that ovary secreting a hormone that helped with implantation. Not unusual apparently. I guess that was me feeling implantation.

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:31

@Kurtan I'm currently 3DPO.. hate to sound dramatic but honestly I feel horrible! So tired I can barely keep my eyes open, stomach cramps from hell and twinges and shooting pains on the left lower side of my stomach. It's really confusing. My nipples are also rock solid and sensitive / painful.

OP posts:
BuffaloCauliflower · 19/09/2020 22:31

Was left side ovary if it matters* 😂

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:32

@BuffaloCauliflower wow that's incredible! How amazing is the human body 😍
I'm feeling similar although at 3 DPO. Been so tired it's ridiculous. And pains predominantly on the left hand side (very low down) who knows! I've got my fingers crossed.

OP posts:
BuffaloCauliflower · 19/09/2020 22:37

Sounds promising Smile try and hold off for 10DPO if you can, I did a test at 8DPO clearly just to irritate myself that was negative when I was pregnant, it just wasn’t showing yet

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:39

@BuffaloCauliflower oh I really hope it is promising! I will do, I've got fairly good
Willpower usually so I'm hoping I can ride this out until it's suitable to begin testing! Xx

Kurtan · 19/09/2020 22:41

@premum1 I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞

stayathomer · 19/09/2020 22:42

Absolute exhaustion and very bad acne and my hair was amazing (!) Then moved onto morning (all day long!) Sickness

premum1 · 19/09/2020 22:45

@Kurtan thank you so much, I'm just praying this is it 🥰
