So I know this is super duper early for me.. I'm 3DPO today and have been feeling very crampy, nauseous and exhausted! (Cant even describe how tired I am!)

I know full well that a fertile egg wouldn't have even implanted yet, so I'm not for one second implying that I'm experiencing early pregnancy symptoms - I assume it's probably the aftermath of ovulating 🤔😅

It got me thinking.. and I wondered if anybody has ever just 'known' that they were pregnant..? Like the first few days post ovulation? I'm just genuinely curious!

I know many family members and also some friends that claim they knew pretty much within the first 3-7DPO! 😅

As I say, I'm not trying to say I 'know' I'm pregnant or anything like that, this is my first cycle TTC so I know that would be extremely lucky.. just curious! X x

Very very sore boobs! Couldn't hug anyone, taking bra off hurt, any kind of exercise hurt even with normal bra and sports bra together!

grandmasterstitch · 20/09/2020 10:48

Both times I knew about 3-4 days before my period was due. I had a very distinctive all over stomach pain and then 2 days before I had a tiny smear of blood. It's weird how it was identical for both

Thanks all!

We are out at the zoo today and honestly I've never had to sit down so much! I'm so so exhausted, you know that kind of exhaustion where you just can't bring yourself to even stand / walk! I'm absolutely knackered! 🤔

For me it was going really hot and lightheaded xx

thenightsky · 20/09/2020 11:09

Nausea and a raging thirst.

Laurenemma13 · 20/09/2020 12:58

Really graphic but when dtd, it felt different to what it ever has before.
I had bad cramps and was exhausted in the lead up. I also had the tiniest bit of spotting around implantation time.
I'm only 4+5, still have bad cramps at times, still exhausted and also got sore boobs now, nausea and breakouts all over my chin 🙈

premum1 · 20/09/2020 13:02

@Laurenemma13 ohh interesting! I'm 4DPO today and honestly I've never ever felt exhaustion like it! It's insane.. I'm absolutely knackered!

@premum1 I sympathise! I was knackered shortly after I ovulated and its just continued!
Went for a walk and some breakfast this morning, I dry heaved on the way back and then fell asleep on the couch! Very glamorous 😂

blitzen · 20/09/2020 13:48

Oh totally forgot to mention the ovary pain! I have always been able to feel a twinge which I have always thought must be ovulation. But this was like a firework going off in there. Felt it in bed prob a few days after what would have been conception xx

premum1 · 20/09/2020 13:59

@Laurenemma13 sounds just like me 😂🤔 I'm having to sit down so much more often it's mad! And had awful heartburn this morning too x

premum1 · 20/09/2020 14:00

@blitzen wow that's mad! I'm pretty sure I ovulated from the left as I've had some awful twinges and shooting pains the last few days! Crazy how we can pick up on things like that 💕

Sensitive nipples! I also had cramping and a seriously hormonal attitude the day before I tested positive.

SecretWitch · 20/09/2020 17:00

With each pregnancy I had one day when I was overcome with exhaustion. In my first pregnancy I was having my hair foiled and felt myself slipping into a deep sleep in the chair. I had to forgo the cut and style and ring for my husband to pick me up.

I also am very fair and noticed a map of blue green veins on my chest and breasts.

These were all before having a positive test

Sls668 · 20/09/2020 18:22

I felt EXACTLY how I do the days before my period starts as I remember waiting for it to come and being so surprised when it didn’t as I felt exactly the same as I do every month! So I guess just a little crampy (nothing extreme, my periods are quite kind to me nowadays) and slightly tender boobs. The nausea started about a week after my period was due and lasted until about 16 weeks, it was hell! I would say the exhaustion started at about 6 weeks and was pretty extreme until about 16 weeks too (I guess coinciding with starting iron supplements)

Malteserdiet · 20/09/2020 18:31

For all 4 of my DC my first sign was suddenly having a massive craving for a McDonald’s cheeseburger just after getting in bed which was totally out of the blue, especially for the mustard taste Grin Swiftly followed by sore boobs and tiredness. Fingers crossed for you

premum1 · 20/09/2020 18:45

Thank you all so much, so many amazing stories and different symptoms! I don't want to symptom spot too much but today has been so hard.. I'm just completely Overcome with absolute exhaustion, I can't stand / walk for more than a little while without having to sit down and gain back some energy! It's really really unusual for me.

Was just sitting down and eating tea a moment ago, and felt a very sharp needle like pain in the lower right abdomen, took my breath away! But went as quickly as it came..

Currently got shooting pains going down the right side of my back (lower) as well.. and weirdly my right hand side arm is really heavy and achey, almost like having had a blood test 😂🤷‍♀️ I sound like a crazy lady but I'm 100% in what I'm feeling, it's so unusual

My first symptom was trying to sleep and I couldn't because I could feel my blood pulsing round my body. Completely random but I just thought "thats it, I'm pregnant", this was almost two years after starting ttc. Next morning I got my BFP

keepingbees · 20/09/2020 19:09

With my first I had period cramps on and off and those shooting pains that go through you when you're on a period (iykwim) I also had dizziness and was thirsty a lot.
With my second and third I had a sudden feeling I was pregnant about a week before I was due on. With my third I had quite bad period pains.
Never had sore boobs with any of them, just slightly fuller feeling. I get really sore boobs before a period though.
