Ladies in very early pregnancy.. want to hear your first few weeks after BFP stories!

Hello!!!

Got my first EVER BFP on Wednesday.
Came as a bit of a surprise since we literally only BD once since my last period (my partner works weird shifts so it gets quite difficult to ‘try’) wtf, how is that for chance

Anyway; here I am hopefully gonna be joining May 2021 club :)

However.. I am feeling a few things and I’m getting myself concerned.
My AF isn’t technically due for 2 days!!

1. I feel a lot of weird sensations in the very bottom of my stomach, like just above the pubic bone. It’s not a cramp as such, but it does feel like tugging. Does anyone know what it could be so early on? Any reason to even be concerned?

1. Wetness... I normally get increased wetness before AF is coming, not normally this much as it feels like I’ve came on and every time I go the toilet I’m scared I’ll see blood!! Anyone had similar?

1. Heart palpitations. Don’t know if it’s because I am so overwhelmed/excited/nervous and thinking of a million different ways to tell my family so it’s making my heart go fast... maybe I need tips to chill the f* out?

So after my faint positive I ended up getting lots of bleeding. I thought it was a chemical or another miscarriage. I did an ovulation test yesterday and t was peak. Pregnancy test was 2-3 weeks. This happened when I had my ectopic as well so I went for a blood test. My hcg is 179. I’m going back tomorrow for a second blood test. I really hope it’s not another ectopic. I wasn’t really tracking my temps this month but bbt was high this morning. I’m not getting excited yet as it’s probably going to go wrong.

So sorry to hear that you’re having a worrisome time. Please let us know how you get on with your second blood test. Should you be about 5wks now? Would they be able to put your mind at ease with an ultrasound to see if everything is where it should be?

@BessieBye I’m 5+2 today. There isn’t any point getting a scan yet as it’s too early. They can’t usually see anything until hcg is around 1500. I’m just hoping that the hcg is increasing within normal levels and the bleeding was nothing to worry about.

Had to have a scan due to suspected ectopic. But look at my little sweet pea all in the right place, measuring 6wks 5 and a lovely heartbeat 😍

Thought I’d share the good news, since only close family know, I am dying to show other people !! Xx

Ah thanks @Chance2020 - I cried with relief!
I know I have a few weeks to go til out of the ‘red zone’ but it is much better than what I was expecting.

Yes, sharp pain in left side, under tummy next to my pubic bone. It hurt more as I stretched or coughed and also had hip/leg pain.
Went to GP who had a feel, said he wasn’t too concerned but needed to rule it out so went this morning. Gotta get these things checked out or I’d be a mess lol xx

Should’ve mentioned no one was concerned and just putting it down to stretching of everything! Xx
