I agree, movements have been the best part of pregnancy so far xx such a wonderful feeling 💙💙

Movements are the best, but scary when baby has a quiet day! Our boy had a quiet day yesterday and I was starting to panic when all of a sudden I got an almighty kick at half 9pm, it actually made my belly change shape and things go flying. But he's been pretty quiet again since.

A tonne of bran flakes is the only thing that is keeping me regular at the moment. Difficult cos milk makes me feel awfully sick but I just can't eat them without it. With my first bran was actually one of my cravings so I got lucky that time.

How are all your bumps looking now? Mine is still on and off, one minute it's huge and looking about 8 months along and then thr next I can fit back in my skinny jeans again.

Oh my god yes to this. I have an anterior placenta so was told I might not feel anything until about 25 weeks +.

I've been lucky that I have felt quite a bit of movement since around 19-20 weeks but I do have some days where I don't feel him at all and I panic, then others where it's like he's doing summersaults! I think it's his position, when he's lay a certain way, the placenta hides the movements and others it won't. I'm trying not to freak out as my midwife said it was completely normal not to have a routine with movement until 28+ especially with an anterior placenta.

How are all your bumps looking now?

Mine seems to be getting bigger by the day. I'm definitely feeling it now when I'm walking/trying to get off the sofa. Not sure what I'll be like when I'm like 30 plus!

This was nearly 2 weeks ago, I'm 23 weeks today so a lot bigger now!

Oh and my boobs. My boobs are nearly as big as my bump now it seems. I can't even fit in my old bras Blush DH doesn't know where to put his eyes anymore 😂😂😂😂

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 12/10/2020 12:51

@fruitloopyloo I have insane bump envy - what a lovely bump you have. I am extremely overweight so while I do have a bump, it just looks like I've put more weight on! But I get the feeling it when you walk - I'm waddling already as I can feel pressure low down on my bladder with every step...!!

pampero · 12/10/2020 13:12

Ah the bump, some days I just look bloated, other days I feel like I am finally starting to look pregnant. Still managing to fit in normal jeans (the button has to be popped come the evening!), have started to notice a few tops becoming too short though!

Char41zam · 12/10/2020 13:17

I have a posterior placenta so yesterday when she was facing to my back I hardly looked pregnant and then when she flipped around last night I look huge! She was having some sort of acrobatics show last night lol

babydust2412 · 12/10/2020 13:24

@FruitLoopyLoo mine is exactly the same with my anterior placenta xx
Today and yesterday my little man has been super active having a party it seems but then a couple of days ago he barely moved all day until the evening and I panicked ❤️
My bump is obvious now 😂 he's popped out definitely x

Lovely bumps ladies! I have not taken any pictures of mine as yet, I kinda still just feel fat and I keep getting a telling off for saying that from my partner and my kids x

Safxxx · 12/10/2020 13:49

Awe lovely bumps ladies 🤰🏻 I suppose if I was to compare then mines as big as @babydust2412 😍 definetely feel the pressure of it. Xxx

OnNaturesCourse · 12/10/2020 14:21

Serious bump envy ladies. Looking amazing.

Muriel84 · 12/10/2020 17:56

Aww bumps look lovely. I definitely look pregnant but my bump is teeny in comparison! I can hide it easily in a big jumper. Feels like it’s expanding by the week tho. I actually feel more mobile than a few weeks ago where I was properly waddling.

Movements have gotten a lot bigger and more aggressive over the past week. I’ve given a few yelps at times! X x x

Harehopper234 · 12/10/2020 18:59

Gorgeous bumps ladies! ❤️

Giving me serious bump envy as still yet to look pregnant, nothings changed at all!
But I'm feeling loads of kicks now which is just amazing! Sure a bump will pop in a few weeks.
Great to hear everyone's getting on so well with their pregnancies... It's going so quickly!

OnNaturesCourse · 13/10/2020 10:57

Well despite my hardly there, shy bump, I'm measuring slightly ahead of where I should be. My uterus is 23 when I'm only 22 weeks, no concerns but it's nice to know baby is growing inside. Just need to wait on him running out of room to push my organs about and start sticking out 😂

OnNaturesCourse · 13/10/2020 10:58

I should add bump is shy today and I look bloated, not pregnant.

bluang3l · 13/10/2020 11:30

Wow - so an update to my issues with appointments. I sent an email to the local Maternity Voices raising my concerns. They got back to me really quickly and they got in touch with the senior managers at Royal London.

It turns out that because I live in Tower Hamlets, it's not actually Royal London who are looking after me! Even though my book has their contact details - because of Covid all our books were sent to Royal London for the 12 week scans, and someone stuck a Royal London sticker on the front.

It's actually a local birth centre that I'm registered with. The matron called me and has now organised all of my appointments including my 16 week call that should have been 5 weeks ago and apologised for the confusion. They're also reviewing all other ladies registered around the same time as me to ensure they've had their appointments.

Muriel84 · 13/10/2020 12:43

@bluang3l glad you got it sorted! Where is the birthing centre? Is it part of a hospital? I’m in east London and under Uclh because of issues in the pregnancy but hadn’t even considered there might be other options... x x x

bluang3l · 13/10/2020 13:00

@Muriel84 yeah it's a relief, now I finally know what's going on! It's at Barkantine in E14, on looking at their website they say they're not linked to a hospital maternity unit but do work with Royal London. Looks like they're for low risk pregnancies

Safxxx · 13/10/2020 13:25

@bluang31 Glad it's sorted Hopefuly you will be upto date with your check ups soon. Xx

Muriel84 · 14/10/2020 11:32

@bluang3l thanks for sharing! I looked it up, looks really nice. X x x

babydust2412 · 14/10/2020 12:40

@bluang3l very glad you got that sorted out! ❤️ I have a community midwife at my local clinic who does my antenatal check ups and then my hospital do my scans and things xx

FruitLoopyLoo · 15/10/2020 17:18

So this happened today.

I have something called drop foot Sad basically my foot just collapsed as I was walking yesterday and went dead.

Went to hospital and it's something called drop foot where the baby is pressing on the sciatic nerve and it's caused me to be unable to lift my foot!

So they've had to put me in a boot to keep it in the right place and stop it from dragging when I walk 😭

Anyone else due February 2021?
Safxxx · 15/10/2020 18:33

@FruitLoopyLoo OMG I've not heard of that condition before, I hope it recovers soon Xxx

FruitLoopyLoo · 15/10/2020 18:43

Neither had I! When it died I went over on it too so have a bad sprain and a bruised swollen foot to go with it!

I've been having sciatica issues for a few weeks but didn't expect this.

He's giving me a hard time the little bugger haha

FruitLoopyLoo · 15/10/2020 18:45

He said it could last all pregnancy as well unfortunately although hopefully it'll calm down after a couple of weeks.

One good thing is I've been ordered to officially put my feet up. Thinking of getting a little bell I can ring for DH when I want a brew or snack Grin
