Did you have a gut feeling/instinct on the sex?

I (hopefully) find out the sex this Saturday, and since the beginning had a gut feel this baby could be a boy (based on nothing scientific).

So, just for fun, I was curious if anyone else ever had a gut feel of what sex their baby was going to be, and was it right or wrong?

My gut is that this one is a boy - like you, I’ve always had “mother of boys” in my head and weirdly, quite a few people have said to me that they can see me with lots of sons Grin

DH thinks it’s a girl, as does my DM but MIL thinks boy.

We find out in 9 days (hopefully) and I absolutely cannot wait. I just have this overwhelming need to know.

I had strong feelings for my first two- I was wrong both times. This time I also had a suspicion but figured I was probably wrong again- and yep my suspicion was wrong!

I had a boy first, and when I got pregnant with my second (a girl) I felt so completely different (awful sickness) I thought it had to be a girl because it was such a different pregnancy.

My sister was convinced that her baby was going to be a boy.
So convinced, in fact, that she painted the nursery blue and went and bought lots of baby boy clothes.

She was wrong, she had a girl.
I think it was more wishful thinking that anything else. She wanted a boy as there hadn’t been any boys born to our side of the family in almost 4 generations.

Imagine her happiness when I gave birth to boys a few years later.

I 100% knew from day one I was having a DS and then a DD. I was right both times.
