Tested positive but bleeding

Hi all,

So I missed my period last month... a few days ago (Thursday) I decided to get a pregnant test but that day I started to see a little blood but did the test that night and got a clear positive, bled a little that night too but decided to do one in the morning (Friday) and got a positive too but that night I woke up in the morning (Saturday) to blood stains on my pyjamas as I hadn’t been wearing a liner but seemed quite heavy and since then I have been bleeding little to a lot with blood clots and thick bloody mucus.

I tried to get an appointment with my gp on Friday but no appointments and I wasn’t bleeding much at all then, as it’ was pinkish and light but now it’s red. Will ring tomorrow and get an appointment.
I also feel like I am on my period.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or is this a clear sign it’s a miscarriage?

Fingers crossed everything is ok. Are u still getting symptoms of pregancy ?

@2020wish I’m still hungry alot and boobs are kina sensatie... but I didn’t have more than that earlier. I don’t know how I would feel about it because I stopped pre natal vitamine and have been taking pain pills plus smoking and had some wine. Because I thought it was over!!! I’m so confused.

@Rozanne101 stay positive. Go back on the pregnancy pills and believe you are still pregnant, if you can’t afford a private scan to let you know them I advise keep testing ans I’d ur tests are still positive in 2 weeks then go with that x

I can afford to get a scan but I cant get a traveling permit to go but yes I will continue to take the pils

@Antstokes1 pretty much up and down. Can’t believe I’m back to ovulation sticks. But back to using them and temping and DTD . You?

done the deed good few times 🤪 in alot of pain at min with an abcess so not been to good past few days

no me in pain not oh in my mouth broken tooth no matter wat i use cant shift the pain got anti biotics took 42 paracetamol in 3 days iv took 6 tramadol 2 bottles of clove oil 1 tube orajel now using nurofen

Im spotting but not much. I’m scared to try without going for a scan I want to make sure that its all clean inside. Bit we have DTD a couple of times but oh knows I prefer him to pull out. Only till after the scan. 😝

Hey hope you all are doing good. Just a little update. I went for a scan today, doctor said there is some left overs in my uterus. So he gave me pills to let everything come out. I am in a lot of pain!!! At the moment. He also advised to only try again after I had a normal period.

I’m good. I have the femometer app and I ordered the opks and temperature probe to go with it. Ordered some cal flour for the tww.

has anyone had there first period yet ? iv had such bad stomach ache well over a week ago but no period ususlly i would get the stomach ache and 2 days later get my period but nothing at the min

Nope no period for me either. I’ve been doing opks also and haven’t ovulated yet

I don’t know if I had my period. Mc happened 4 days before my start date. So I will have to wait till the 27th to see what happens. Do you think having a mc can change your dates?

No. I am from South Africa and own a pub / restaurant so I’m closedown at the moment those sticks are very expensive. So I will just wait and see

@rozanne101 I see, could you order cheap ones on amazon for delivery? If not then hopefully you know soon. Have you been DTD? Do you think you could be pregnant again?

No I can’t be pregnant again we are DTD but we are very careful. I want a normal cycle before I get pregnant. Was at Doctor for scan last week
