Tested positive but bleeding

Hi all,

So I missed my period last month... a few days ago (Thursday) I decided to get a pregnant test but that day I started to see a little blood but did the test that night and got a clear positive, bled a little that night too but decided to do one in the morning (Friday) and got a positive too but that night I woke up in the morning (Saturday) to blood stains on my pyjamas as I hadn’t been wearing a liner but seemed quite heavy and since then I have been bleeding little to a lot with blood clots and thick bloody mucus.

I tried to get an appointment with my gp on Friday but no appointments and I wasn’t bleeding much at all then, as it’ was pinkish and light but now it’s red. Will ring tomorrow and get an appointment.
I also feel like I am on my period.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or is this a clear sign it’s a miscarriage?

Hi guys thought I would update you and it looks like I have definitely had a miscarriage after losing what looks like a big blood clot with a greyish bit on it too which seems like it could have been the sac.

i stopped bleeding last night tested again this mornin and its positive just been toilet and bleeding has come bk

I am also still bleeding having alot of stringy clots? Don’t know if this is tmi but I feel the more information we share the better. For us and future moms to be. I have not tested since Monday. I will only test again 2 days after bleeding has stopped

my bleeding started again last night its litrally just pink smears on tissue now i tested yesterday again with a clear blue digital it said pregnant 1-2 so which shud make me about 4 weeks im going to test again in a week eith digital again to see if its gone up to 2-3 hoping so anyway

My bleeding has now stopped I’ll test tomorrow and see. Thinking of you both too. Sending lots of love.

I also hope for the best and that everything works out for the best for both of you... op how long did you bleed? In total and how much and how di dc the clots look like if I may ask

Hi can I join for some support. I think I’m 6 weeks 1 day. I woke up this morning to fresh red blood loads when I wiped and bit on jammies. It disappeares for an hour then has cane back.. not as heavy or enough to fill a pad but still constant even tho I’ve stayed in bed rest. Still there when I wipe. Not sure if I’m passed clots. Feeling very down and emotional. Having period style cramping but nothing very sore and have had cramping most of this pregnancy . I sound out at 3 weeks 5 days

Okay guys I have just passed what looks like the embryo sack I will type an detailed experience tonight or tomorrow... I will also take a test in 2 days and also post

I'm really sorry those of you who are going through this, especially if it does turn out to be a miscarriage. Sending lots of love. I don't want to give false hope but I did bleed heavily in both of my pregnancies, soaking through pads with fist sized clots, although no significant cramps, and things turned out ok. One of the nurses I saw in hospital said they never know until they scan, sometimes a tiny bit of blood can mean the worst and sometimes a huge amount of blood can be ok. Good luck, I know how worrying it is X

Hi everyone I did take a pregnancy test today and it came back negative sadly! Praying for you all.

I started bleeding very light last Thursday and Friday then Saturday morning I woke up to quite a bit of blood and continued to bleed quite heavy with a lot of little clots. Then 3 days ago on Wednesday I passed what looked like the embryo sack and another big bit of tissue about half an hour after that. Then the bleeding started to get a lot lighter and It’s pretty much gone now apart from the occasional wipe.

All my pregnancy symptoms kind of just went last Friday really and I guess I knew deep down.

Think I’m going the same way as you. Little over 6 weeks(I think as I haven’t been scanned) Started bleeding bright red blood on Thursday. Not enough to fill 2 pads over Thursday and Friday and tiny tiny clots on Friday. The constant feeling of needing to urinate which was causing discomfort more so but not overly crampy. No support or help from neither my gp over the phone who very quickly diagnosed a miscarriage as she said she tested a urine sample I left in and said it was negative. When I queried how could hcg levels drop so quickly as my digital I had took 2 hours previously was still positive, she then stated and I quote “oh well yea it was actually a faint positive on our test but we take that as a negative”. The early pregnancy unit and maternity admissions refused to see me as I wasn’t haemorrhaging or bleeding enough to make them think it’s a miscarriage. So I’ve just been told to wait and retest in 2 weeks.

I’ve woke up this morning to that urination discomfort gone, no cramps and feel like I’ve no symptoms at all now. But more blood on pad I had on over night but not soaked through and still tiny clots when I wipe. Not feeling very pregnant either so I suppose it’s just a waiting game to confirm myself by testing in a few days

re tested this mornin twice both are negative feeling emotional now really fort it was implantation bleeding as had no clots or no cramping

I’m not getting any sereve cramping either or clots and not filling a pad. But today I’ve not discomfort or cramps or feel pregnant at all so I’m afraid to take a test :(

i was about 4 weeks but like i said i had no cramps or clots and only light bleedimg not enuff to even half fill a pad tested thursday i was still ositive tested again today twice amd got two negatives

It’s crazy how things can change isn’t it? I’ve told my 10 year old I’m pregnant as she’s very close to me and knows when things are up and noticed me being sick and was asking could I be pregnant so I told her last week I was and she was over the moon. Now I dunno how to break this to her

has anyone had the conversation with there partners about trying again

My partner has said about trying again straight away

I was 8 weeks.
I think we are leaving it for a little bit and try again. Thinking of you all

Hi, just after advice, I'm 5 weeks pregnant, I started bleeding yesterday morning, it quickly got heavy but today it seems to be dying down although there have been a few clots but they've only been small. I've had cramps in my stomach but nothing half as bad as the miscarriage I had 7 months ago. Is there much of a chance that it can be breakthrough bleeding or is it likely that I'm having another miscarriage?

I have phoned the hospital and due to a previous ectopic they have booked me in for a scan Wednesday. I'm so scared I'm gonna get there and yet again face the heartbreak of seeing no heartbeat on the screen.

Has anyone else had this and had a successful pregnancy? I need something to give me hope? As much as i am trying I'm finding it very difficult to stay positive as this is all very similar to what happened 7 months ago 😔

Sorry I can’t help you as I’m going through the same thing as you at present. My scan is on Tuesday so I’m in limbo on whether I’miscarrying or bleeding for other reasons. Day 3 of bleeding but no real cramps or anything.
