Initially it was because midwife couldn't find baby's heard which had been engaged. And movements had changed. That's because he has moved yet again so now looking at having him turned or c section. Super hungry as nill by mouth till the team come to see me! They will have one hangry tired pregnant lady to deal with soon lol!!

Rosebel · 05/06/2020 10:15

Hope everything goes okay for you today Sunshine.

Millettmum · 05/06/2020 11:27

@Sunshine8920
Hope they get round to you soon so you know what's going on, I'm hungry now and I've had breakfast!

@Sunshine8920 hope everything will be allright 🙏🏻

I am super hungry nowadays... I have these hunger episodes like I had at first trimester.

@Millettmum they said head is down below but she didnt specifically say "engaged" .. if lightening means engaged then may be..

Perhaps this time of pregnancy is challenging for all of us ( in a nice way) since we all wait and dont know when to meet with the babies and how - unless it is arranged with c section.

Sunshine8920 · 05/06/2020 13:36

Thank you lovely ladies, so just got my head round having to have a c-section but now he has moved back to head down again so waiting for another scan!
I'm really panicking because if he is head down I don't need the c section but what if he turns again before I go to labour? would you ladies request a c section now or wait for labour and hope he's not moved yet again...little wriggler!! My heads all over the place x

Millettmum · 05/06/2020 14:46

@Sunshine8920
Wow you have a troublesome already!
It's your personal choice. Have they said you can still have the c section?

My midwife on duty currently has said at the end of the day it's my choice. But the lady I just saw on labour ward kinda implied she'd prefer natural labour and if he is not in position to turn him. Xx

Rosebel · 05/06/2020 15:46

I wouldn't let anyone persuade you in what to do. It should be totally your choice about what you do.
If the midwife isn't too concerned then I'd say it's definitely up to you.

LassoOfTruth · 05/06/2020 17:48

@Sunshine8920 Ooh good luck whatever you decide! Really exciting! x

Sunshine8920 · 05/06/2020 17:49

@Rosebel thank you; :-) you're right I'm hoping I'll feel clearer tomorrow xx

Sunshine8920 · 07/06/2020 08:09

@LassoOfTruth thank you! It's sort of been taken out my hands and I'm all booked in for section this TUESDAY!! On the day if baby is behaving I could still be induced instead if I choose to.

Another June baby almost here!! Hehe

Goodgoodthings · 07/06/2020 08:42

@Sunshine8920 how exciting! I hope you’re getting lots of rest this weekend, you’re so close to meeting your bundle and that is the most special thing 💜 how are you feeling? It must be so nice to know the birthday!

Millettmum · 07/06/2020 08:43

@Sunshine8920

Hi,

I hope you don't mind me posting on here, I'm due next Saturday, currently 39+1 and very ready to meet my little baby boy! Baby is engaged, very low down and have been having on/off cramping for 2 weeks now. I'm on my birthing ball every day and go for walks too but haven't had a show or anything yet. I'm seeing the midwife on Tuesday so I hope she offers me a sweep, this is my first baby.

I just really wanted to say hi x

Millettmum · 07/06/2020 09:26

Hi @Hodge85!
You never know you might start at any moment, but hopefully the midwife gives you a sweep if needed.

Hi @Hodge85, welcome! You do realise you're now in a race to the finish with @Sunshine8920! Grin
Good luck for Tuesday Sunshine, very exciting indeed but I hope you get some rest and good sleep in ahead of the big day. x

Koo33 · 07/06/2020 23:10

I’m having a c-section on Wednesday, still feels quite weird that in a few days he will be here

Sunshine8920 · 08/06/2020 08:35

@Goodgoodthings Thanks lovely, yes it's nice knowing a date! I'm getting plenty of rest here in hospital and I'm lucky enough to have my own room for the past few days!
I'm feeling excited but really nervous, I can't get my head around it all!

@Hodge85 hello! I'm having a boy too! And it's my first too! hope your resting up too!

@Koo33 how do you feel about your section? I wish it was a bit more out of my hands as in the back of my mind I'm beating myself up a bit about it. Xx

Koo33 · 08/06/2020 09:28

@ Sunshine8920 I feel nervous but I like that I have a plan and know exactly when I will have this baby. You will be fine and it’s so exciting that your meeting your baby tomorrow x

Millettmum · 10/06/2020 10:13

Tomorrow I'll be 37 weeks and I must admit I want baby to come soon, getting a little jealous of all the babies coming on here and on other groups but at the same time think how I'll cope with the sleepless nights again ha x

Koo33 · 10/06/2020 10:22

Thank you @Millettmum, on the way to the hospital now 😬

Millettmum · 10/06/2020 10:23

How exciting @Koo33. I can remember being induced and before it ramped up thinking I'm leaving with a baby!
