@Millettmum it still feels so surreal and guess it will until he is here x

impatient2bmummy · 10/06/2020 10:53

Hi everyone!

Hope it's ok for me to jump in so late! I'm due June 18 (38+6 today) and starting to get very impatient! hopefully having some similar company will help me!

Millettmum · 10/06/2020 11:04

Welcome @impatient2bmummy it's not long to go for you.
Also impatient and I'm not as far on as you, but tiredness I really starting to set in so I just want to sleep.

Rosebel · 10/06/2020 11:24

I'm impatient too. It feels like I've been pregnant forever. Still only 36+5. Feel tired and lots of aches and pains.
We're supposed to be moving in August and I keep looking at the packing but can't face it 😊

Sophie1326 · 10/06/2020 12:07

Hi @impatient2bmummy 🥰 we have the same due date!! I think I'm not accepting I'm due so soon yet as I've just been out to buy door step paint🤣
Getting on with some spring cleaning today if I can manage it!!
Hope every one is keeping well!
Where has the sun gone ????

impatient2bmummy · 10/06/2020 13:04

Thank you for the welcomes! 😆

@Sunshine8920 wow yay I'm so glad I've found someone with my dates 🙈 do you know what you're having? Are you having any signs of labour?
Buying paint could be a sign of nesting- I was up at 6am this morning cleaning my outside windows 😂

Sophie1326 · 10/06/2020 15:26

@impatient2bmummy it feels so close yet so far away! Mainly because I think in my head it could go on to 42 weeks!!!
I'm hoping he arrives before then as I don't really fancy the idea of being induced..

Yes we're having a boy 🥰 how about you??
Don't start putting ideas in my head about the windows haha

impatient2bmummy · 11/06/2020 08:52

@sophie I'm sorry I don't know why I can't tag you and realised I tagged you wrong last time 🙈

I'm the same, I'm just really hoping I don't go too much over if I do! I'm having a sweep a week today though so fingers crossed I won't need it and if I do, it works 🙈

I'm having a little girl 💖

Sophie1326 · 11/06/2020 11:08

@impatient2bmummy Ah congratulations 💗
I've been booked in for a sweep too on my due day! I've heard really mixed things about them.. this will be my first so no idea how my body with react yet so fingers crossed!

Millettmum · 11/06/2020 19:53

Anyone had any niggles?

OP posts:
Sophie1326 · 11/06/2020 21:13

@Millettmum I wish 😩 he's very very active today though actually making me jump when he kicks/punches! Must be getting strong in there 🤣

impatient2bmummy · 11/06/2020 23:07

Hi ladies 🥰 I've just come back from hospital because of reduced movements and had a sweep (was really really painful for me- sorry 😐) I was 1.5cm dilated and hoping this sweep works because I don't know if I want another one 🙈 only 39 weeks today though so I still have time for it to happen naturally!

Hope everyone else is keeping well xx

Millettmum · 12/06/2020 08:34

@Sophie1326 yes me too!
@impatient2bmummy hopefully it'll start things off for you.

I think every tiny little thing is a sign so I need to start not getting my hopes up all the time.

@Millettmum I’m the same - i think it’s a combination of being SO excited to meet our girl and also wishful thinking that I will finish work before 25th 😩 the Braxton Hicks are definitely coming on a lot more now, and I’ve been spending a lot more time on the birthing ball.

I keep trying to remember not to wish my life away and that “baby will come when baby is ready” but it’s hard!

Happy Friday everyone, I’m so excited to hear how we all get on over the next few weeks. Feeling so grateful for this thread! It’s been like a makeshift NCT group for me!

Koo33 · 12/06/2020 09:17

Millettmum · 12/06/2020 09:21
