I'm bleeding

I'm devastated. 5+3 with a much longed for IVF pregnancy and tonight I have lots of period cramps and I've got bright red fresh blood when I wipe. EPU have told me to take paracetamol and come in next Saturday night if this is still going on. My IVF viability scan isn't until April 20th, what am I going to do until then 😢. This is so cruel, I've waited over 4 years to see those lines and I just know in my heart of hearts that this part of my journey is over.

Please tell me I'll be ok 💔

Congratulations @MrsC2018! I hope to be joining you on the heartbeat club on Sunday I’ll be 6 weeks exactly 🤞🏾 These IVF pregnancies feel so precious and fragile

That’s really lovely news @MrsC2018. I was quietly hopeful I must say. I look forward to a birth announcement in Nov/Dec!

Chimchar · 09/04/2020 09:20

I've read this thread from start to finish and nearly cried when I saw your scan picture and you said all was ok, *@MrsC2018. I am so happy for you.

I have had a single miscarriage and also lost my youngest child's twin so understand the worry but not the stress of IVF. Good luck. I really hope all goes well for you all.

Wonderful news @mrsc2018. I am so happy and excited for you after hearing the scan went well. What a tough few days (and months) you've had that I can totally relate to. I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby (a little girl) after 5 rounds of IVF and had basically given up too and lost hope of ever being a mummy so I understand what it means. I have everything crossed this is your time and in a few months you will be holding your very wanted bundle of joy. sending best wishes xxx

So happy for you @MrsC2018. Congratulations! IVF doesn't half put us through the wringer, doesn't it!? I hope that that's the end of the bleeding for you now and the rest of your pregnancy continues smoothly xx

shivbo2014 · 09/04/2020 10:38

I read this thread and was going to comment that I had a bleed at 10 weeks and all was fine just a sub chronic hematoma. Really happy to see your update. Congratulations. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

fmturn · 09/04/2020 10:40

I had very heavy bleeding with my first in the first trimester, sometimes it was like someone had turned a tap on in between my legs (sorry to be graphic) they never could give me a reason why but he's now a healthy 6 year old. Also had light bleeding with my second but all was ok.

MrsC2018 · 10/04/2020 14:32

@fmturn hope you're ok lovely xx

@MrsC2018 So pleased everything is ok for you and little one. Amazing news.
I'm still exactly the same. Still only when I wipe, a reddy/brown colour. I rang my EPU yesterday and she said it's common and to monitor it but to call back if I had pain or bleeding got really bad.
I'm in no pain but I'm just worried sick. It's all I can think about. 😢

MrsC2018 · 10/04/2020 16:05

@MrsTtobe I know, it's so worrying. I feel better than I did but I'm still worried that it's little heart could stop at anytime. I'm still wiping brown, and have done since the weekend and have obviously seen the heartbeat since then so as all these lovely women before me have said, it doesn't mean it's all over for us

It's just hard to believe that isn't it ❤️
