Hi all, thought it'd be nice for us first time mums to have our own thread! How're we all finding pregnancy? I didn't expect it to be this hard tbh! I'm 11+5 and have my 12 week scan on Thursday, both terrified and excited for it!!

@uor24 Congratulations bet it's a relief to see the scan! Lovely to see them on here.

I'm 12 weeks today and got my scan on Monday, how slow does the first trimester go?!

Hi everyone. Loving this thread, but just wanted to say I've started a Jan 2020 FTMs thread here as well - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/3702236-Jan-2020-First-Time-Mums

Would be lovely to chat to some other FTMs who are at about the same stage. @mummabear18 @MummyBear405 @SquigglyOne

Hey girls,

posted earlier in the week, new mumma, nearly 9 weeks, need some quick advice from any mumma's.. i'm coming up to the date of when my period would usually be due and am feeling very pms'eee (didn't know how to write it lol) and crampy..anyone had 'weird' symptoms around when their period would have been due?

loveyourself87 · 27/09/2019 16:06

slowly retreats and hides

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 27/09/2019 18:33

I don't know about PMS symptoms but I did have a bleed when my period would have been due, not sure if it was just a coincidence as they never found out why I bled.

loveyourself87 · 27/09/2019 18:54

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver hmmmm pms as I'm emotional and tired but have been feeling those throughout the whole pregnancy eekkkk so excited for everyone 🤗

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 27/09/2019 18:59

@loveyourself87 I'm definitely an emotional wreck these days. My mood can turn very quickly and I'll cry at just about anything. E.g being sent for another glucose tolerance test. Think that's just a pregnant thing though?

loveyourself87 · 27/09/2019 19:11

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver haha bless you.. I cried because my car passed its MOT test today.. pretty normal I say haha x

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 27/09/2019 22:15

@loveyourself87 I think that's fair, that's a big relief! Yeah I'm having a giant baby they think so they're sending me for another test, I had one 3 weeks ago but they want another, it takes bloody hours and you're fasted from the night before.

Hey ladies, first time mum here after a few miscarriages.

14+1 today. Not finding out the sex. Due March 26th.

Sickness feels like it's starting to ease up, nausea still coming on fairly strong if I leave it too long to eat but fx it's on it's way out. It's going really fast already!
