Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

MamaPeas · 28/09/2019 19:11

How's everyone been feeling today? X

Anny27 · 28/09/2019 19:13

@MamaPeas feeling good! Nipples are a bit sore and never had that before!!

How about you?

AmyMaria2 · 28/09/2019 19:22

@TwinkleStars15 @LoveRainbow02 I really hope it's okay for you both, it's so unfair 😞 sending love ❤️

RainMinusBow · 28/09/2019 19:36

My 12 yo son is a bit bamboozled as to why I am so emotional as I'm usually pretty level-headed! He hasn't figured out that the "wine" I'm having tonight is alcohol-free!! 😁 My 9 yo remains clueless...

MamaPeas · 28/09/2019 19:58

Oh bless them @RainMinusBow. I'm greatly enjoying telling my 16month old at every opportunity, knowing he hasn't a clue what I'm on about.

@Anny27 I'm shattered, but I've been over doing it. Ewwww to the sore nipples bless you.

Anny27 · 28/09/2019 20:25

@RainMinusBow how does the alcohol free wine taste?

@mamapeas definitley have an early night tonight xx

Momma97 · 28/09/2019 20:48

Yay congrats! I'm also due end of May/beginning of June with my first! Super exciting times ahead.

Fuzzbuzz86 · 28/09/2019 21:02

My boobs are sore and i wake up feeling like someone has hit me over the head lol. Also have Zero patience with everyone right now!

When do you all start to tell people? The only person other than OH that knows is someone at work (for h&s 🙄). I'm going to tell my sister tomorrow. And then I'll prob wait until after my first scan to tell others Xx

Anny27 · 28/09/2019 21:06

@fuzzbuzz86 i have told my sister, Sister in law and brother in law (told them at 4 weeks because regardless of what happens we would tell them so wanted to talk about it haha) . Will wait till after scan to tell others

Welcome @Momma97 :)

MamaPeas · 28/09/2019 21:21

Congrats on your BFP @Momma97

I'm rubbish at secrets @Fuzzbuzz86, I've told loads of people. Mostly telling people face to face. I'm plotting how to tell my family. I'm telling my bestie next week. I've just got to make sure she doesn't instagram it. 😂

RainMinusBow · 28/09/2019 21:58

@Anny27 Well it doesn't really taste like wine and some are better than others! My favourite is Eisberg. Added bonuses are it is far less calorific than wine wine and also much cheaper!! 😁

AmyMaria2 · 29/09/2019 02:09

Congratulations @Momma97 😁
I've told dp, my mum & a close friend. Going to try and wait until we've at least had our early scan now although I want to tell everyone! x

Anny27 · 29/09/2019 09:54

@RainMinusBow i think I'll have shloer as my christmas drink alternatives this year haha

@AmyMaria2 whens your early scan? I am thinking of booking a private one for 8 weeks

@twinklestars15 and @LoveRainbow02 how are things going? ❤

LoveRainbow02 · 29/09/2019 09:56

@Anny27 - my frer tests are now getting very light in comparison to my previous tests. Still not bleeding or cramp but I know what's coming. Been sick this morning and have a headache so just a waiting game really to see when it starts. How are you keeping?

Anny27 · 29/09/2019 10:36

So sorry to hear lovely :( @loverainbow02 It's really rubbish for you :(

I am doing well thank you!

TwinkleStars15 · 29/09/2019 11:11

@Anny27 I’m not doing too bad considering, thank you. It’s just been like a heavy period to be honest, nothing as bad as I imagined it could be like, so i feel very thankful for that. On the flip side (there’s always one!) I’m now worried that not everything is going to come out and I’ll end up in surgery again...I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that my body knows what it’s doing and it will be over soon. I really want to start trying again as soon as possible, so not knowing when that will be is hard.

@LoveRainbow02 sorry to hear that, I know how hard it is but keep hope that you are not bleeding Cake I can’t imagine how stressed you must be right now, I hope you are being looked after x

LoveRainbow02 · 29/09/2019 11:16

@TwinkleStars15 So sorry for what you are going through also 😥. Has it been confirmed? Only reason I ask as lots of woman can bleed early on and go on to have a healthy pregnancy.

I'm completely stressed and baffled tbh. Tests were so so strong and then the blood test comes back inconclusive! Just confusing me lots.

AmyMaria2 · 29/09/2019 12:40

@Anny27 my consultant is going to scan me at 5/5and a half weeks just so she can see if it's multiple birth and check my womb lining, as I got pregnant on clomid. But I won't be able to see anything then so I'm going to have a private scan at 7 weeks as well.

I'm so sorry @TwinkleStars15 I hope you can try again as soon as possible🌷

@LoveRainbow02 sorry your having such a stressful time, are you going to have more blood tests done? x

TwinkleStars15 · 29/09/2019 12:53

@LoveRainbow02 sorry I missed that you’d had a blood test also? How was it inconclusive? Sorry you’re going through this, it sucks!

It’s not been officially confirmed but with the amount of bleeding I’ve had I’m in no doubt. I have bought some cheapie tests today so I can do one every day until it’s negative. I have no idea how long that will take. I’ve also got no symptoms anymore. I also have my NHS 6 week scan booked for Friday and I’ll still go along as I have a few questions to ask x

LoveRainbow02 · 29/09/2019 13:00

@AmyMaria2 No the doctor told me yesterday to test in 1-2 weeks and if still positive they will book me a scan. Last time I was told to come back 48hrs later for a blood repeat so no idea why they haven't said that this time.

@TwinkleStars15 Yeah blood level was really low meaning I'm either still really early or a mc is going to happen. It's clearly going to end in mc as I got my first positive test on the 16th which then got stronger as the days went on then decreased yesterday so can only mean a mc is about to happen.

TwinkleStars15 · 29/09/2019 13:12

Update: just did a test and it’s negative. I’m okay actually (as okay as can be expected) I’m surprised it’s showed as negative so quickly, but pleased because hopefully it means my body can get back to normal now and we can try again soon. Thank you for all your support and good luck with your pregnancies Cake
