One day overdue here. Over the last month everything’s hit and I’ve become really uncomfortable. Just saw midwife and she’s booked me for an induction for next Friday, I really hope baby comes before then, but I’ve had no show, no cramps, nothing at all.

Helsvamp · 10/07/2019 15:42

My due date is tomorrow and given up looks like I might go over due. Baby is hurting my Pelvic so much I can't do anything

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and just can't wait for it to be over!!

HayleyHaystack · 10/07/2019 16:41

I feel fed up today with the not knowing. My induction has been booked for next week so that will be week 42. I wish things would start on their own!

Capybaras · 10/07/2019 16:51

That's good you've got an end in sight now @HayleyHaystack - hopefully baby will come before induction. Been having on and off period pains for a few days now but nothing more, and they seem to have lessened a bit today so no idea what's happening! 40+1 now

SenoraSurf · 10/07/2019 19:09

Lots of people booked in for inductions then, I didn't realise they were so common. How are you ladies feeling about inductions? I haven't really considered it but am only 37+3 so got a bit to go yet.

Saw the doctor again about my piles earlier, he literally said 'oh my gosh, that's massive' and that it's the biggest piles he's seen in his 20 year career.... fab. Referred me to a surgeon but obviously they can't do anything till after baby so now I'm trying another cream and on codeine for the pain. The thought of pushing a baby out when these piles have appeared without any straining is scaring the bjeezus out of me! Sad

SwimSwim · 10/07/2019 19:18

Hi ladies, I'm 41 + 1 and was told today I'm booked in for induction on Friday evening. So utterly fed up and ready for this baby (DC2) but was hoping I'd go naturally as don't like the induction to C-section stats but such is life! Looking forward to being able to bend over again 😂

HayleyHaystack · 10/07/2019 19:38

The induction thing is annoying @SenoraSurf but so many NHS trusts don’t want you to go over 42 weeks. So after 40 weeks they routinely start to get booked in. I’ve turned it down several times in the last week but yesterday they insisted I book one in. I also didn’t consider this at 37 weeks and had no idea it would come to it but it’s looking very likely for me now.

Helsvamp · 11/07/2019 16:28

I am due today and no sign of baby coming. 😭

How's everyone doing?

HayleyHaystack · 12/07/2019 09:19

Still here 👋🏼 9 days overdue. Second sweep booked for tomorrow. Induction Monday. How is everyone?

dancingelephants · 12/07/2019 10:08

@SenoraSurf I feel for you! I've got horrendous piles. Haven't been able to sit down/walk without pain all week. Almost to the point of rocking up to the hospital and begging for them to induce me now. (40+3 and very fed up!)

SenoraSurf · 12/07/2019 12:27

@dancingelephants it's horrendous right?! I've been off work all week with mine Sad still got a week till Mat leave (I'm 37+5). The reassuring thing is, most posts and experiences online reckon the pain is comparable if not worse than labour Grin this May or May not be true but I'm believing it for my sanities sake!!!

I've not had any hints of early labour in the last couple of days Envy I want this baby out! Cmooooooooon baby.

Capybaras · 12/07/2019 12:44

Piles sound horrible @SenoraSurf @dancingelephants hope they resolve once baby is here!

Still getting period pains and losing my plug now so hoping things are progressing 🤞🏼 how about you @HayleyHaystack

dancingelephants · 12/07/2019 12:50

@SenoraSurf honestly. I believe labour won't be as bad as this. At least contractions come and go. This pain has been relentless. And I don't see it stopping until baby arrives

kittlesticks · 12/07/2019 13:19

I'm 5 days late and anxious after a poor birth experience with my DS 2 years ago. Solidarity to all.

HayleyHaystack · 12/07/2019 13:32

@Capybaras I lost my plug Sunday night - feels like a lifetime ago. Happened a couple of times since. I got all excited! Period pains are non stop but nothing feels like it’s happening.

Welcome @kittlesticks Cake

mumofone25 · 12/07/2019 13:42

Hi everyone 38+2 here and so ready for labour. The lightning pain is horrendous! Had days of contractions/painful Braxton Hicks but then they just stop. I lost my plug 3 days again. Just been feeling crampy for the last two days! 1st DC was early so hoping I don’t go late this time!

Helsvamp · 12/07/2019 13:56

I am 40 weeks 1 day now . It's getting me stressed out. Not got appointment until 41 weeks so hoping baby will be here way before then. I was hoping I would of had another appointment before then . As last one was for 38 weeks. Baby's been fully engaged for 3 weeks. And pelvic bone feels like burning . I want to cry

kittlesticks · 12/07/2019 17:01

Lost my plug yesterday and also had a show, then had a night of contractions but false, not painful enough but annoying.

Mrsmummy90 · 12/07/2019 17:40

@kittlesticks how far along are you? The same thing happened to be about 2 weeks ago and still nothing 🙄

Helsvamp · 12/07/2019 17:45

I had had plenty of Braxton Hicks. No fun being pregnant in this heat

OP posts:
kittlesticks · 12/07/2019 18:04

I'm now 40 plus 4, god I just want it all over with now!

Capybaras · 12/07/2019 18:19

Oh no I thought the pains and plug were a good sign but sounds like loads of you have had that and still waiting!
