Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Wow Mummylanie3 that is quick! I was told I won’t get my first midwife appointment until 12 weeks as that’s the norm now... It was 8 weeks last time 😕

satsumasaturday · 02/07/2019 21:11

Hi all how is everyone doing today? I'm exhausted this evening and I feel like my dinner isn't going down. I have no idea if that's pregnancy related though or me just being tired and having eaten my dinner too quickly!

@Mummylanie3 that's an efficient midwife! I haven't contacted the doctors yet as I'm worried I'll jinx things (as soon as I filled out the forms at the docs last time it all went wrong). Maybe next week I'll do it if things are still ok

Mummylanie3 · 02/07/2019 21:13

@barleyG I was told the same that I would be seen between 10-12 weeks so came as a shock.

@satsumasaturday I had to let them know as I had meningitis as was still on a few tablets from it so needed to check if to keep taking them or not

BarleyG · 02/07/2019 21:22

I’ve been nesting hugely, which is bizarre so early! I’ve spent my day off today rearranging furniture, clearing out cupboards and throwing loads of stuff away which is so not me - I’m such a hoarder usually. I have been having quite a lot of twinges and I feel woozy whenever I stand up but I haven’t hit the wall of fatigue yet. I didn’t have any sickness last time but I’ve had the odd unsettled feeling in my tummy the last few days. Hope you’re all feeling well ☺️

Nefelibata86 · 02/07/2019 22:17

@Dreams2020 how exciting ! Congratulations
@Frillyfarmer I’m around the same time as you and have had the lower back pain - hoping it’s normal but it’s so hard to tell and tempting to symptom spot! Also tempted re early scan in terms of fitting in at least being seen around when have opportunity to tell close relatives face to face to be sure.
@Mummylanie3 that’s great you’re being seen so soon- it really seems to vary!

Nefelibata86 · 02/07/2019 22:19

@BarleyG sounds great! My procrastinating tendencies still haven’t left me!

MaryH90 · 03/07/2019 05:32

Is anyone else really struggling with the tiredness? I feel exhausted all the time at the moment to the extent where I’m coming home from work and falling asleep on the sofa within an hour. And even when I’m waking up in the morning I feel like I’ve never slept. I don’t remember feeling this exhausted last time unless I’ve just deliberately forgotten it!

@MaryH90 Yes!!
after about 3pm yesterday I was struggling to stay awake at work, and was falling asleep on the sofa despite having had a good nights sleep the night before. But as I'm only just gone 4 weeks by my ovulation date I thought maybe I was just tired? Surely it's too early to be because I'm pregnant?

MunchyMunchkin · 03/07/2019 07:00

I am definitely in team exhaustion as well. Started a day before my bfp and hasn’t really improved.

Abi58 · 03/07/2019 07:15

@dreamer2 so sorry to hear that 💕 take care of yourself

@Mummylanie3 sorry to hear you're having a tough time. He sounds like an a'seh'ole 😩 sending lots of hugs 💕
Have you spoken to your kids about it?

@MaryH90 yes! I wake up feeling like I've not slept I perk up a bit then after lunch it's back to yawning and wanting my bed. Frustrating as I'm studying as well so I really need to find a way to stay awake!

@satsumasaturday I'm 4 and a bit weeks and I'm knackered I feel like I'm being a drama queen my poor husband but glad to now I'm not alone 🙈

Had my blood test (hcg beta) results back yesterday and all looking good 😁
I'm over tired, my boobs feel like they're bruised from a boxing match and my skin is so shiny and I'm breaking out 😩 is the shine the glow they say you get? 😂🙈

Hopefully booking midwife app in the next few days. Drs has one but it's when I'm on trains g with work 😩 hopefully be going around the 8 week mark.

Hello ladies, can I join please?

I took a CB test last night and got a very faint positive, followed by a FR about an hour ago and the line looks clearer (I've attached a pic)

I'm 3 days early and unfortunately I had a chemical pregnancy last November and another one last month so keeping everything crossed that this one sticks!!!

This would be first baby so I'm desperately trying to balance my excitement with my nerves - easier said then done I think!

Hi Ladies can I join please?

My last period was 29th April but was having negative tests at the start of June and got my first positive on Monday (baby number 2). Judging by my last period I'd be 9 weeks but I don't think I'm that far due to having negatives to begin with.

I feel a little sick first thing but other than that I don't actually feel pregnant and I'm still in shock. How's everyone else feeling?

Congrats! And relax, positive thoughts only!

Everything will be great! 🙃🙂

Dreams2020 · 03/07/2019 14:56

Welcome! Guess I’m not the only that’s gone crazy with the pregnancy tests.

My sister was desperate to see the pregnant words on a digital so I’ve ended up taking a test this morning for her benefit! Haha

All is well and good!

Congrats on the BFP

I'm going through phases of being extremely tiredd. Found it really difficult to get much done at the weekend, but at the same time had little appetite which no doubt didn't help.

Have anyone else been sick yet? I've been feeling nauseous on and off for a few days, but threw up for the last time last night. No idea if it was the power of suggestion though, as I'd spoken to my mother and she said she got morning sickness at night, so I'm wondering if I just reacted to that in some way. I did feel a lot better afterwards though, it has to be said.

SweetChillis · 03/07/2019 15:11

Can I join too please. Last AF was 2nd June, I'm 3 days late today so took a test and got a BFP! Cautiously excited as it's early days.

I worked out due date to be 10th March Smile

Cupcakes1234 · 03/07/2019 15:23

@Dreams2020 nope I've had to do 6 in total in 3 days 😂🙈. I did 5 spread over 5 days with my first but I just wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly and I'm in shock. At the doctors tonight to get what I think is a referral to the midwife.

Abi58 · 03/07/2019 15:36

Welcome everyone and congrats on all the new bfps!!

How is everyone feeling?

Anyone booked/booking an early scan?

Dreams2020 · 03/07/2019 15:38

I have my appointment Monday morning.

That’s it though I’m done testing, can’t get anymore confirmation than this right now I’m having a baby! 🤣

Dreams2020 · 03/07/2019 15:40

@SweetChillis congrats on the BFP!

I getting two different due dates, one for 8th on one site and another for the 11th March!

Abi58 · 03/07/2019 16:01

@Dreams2020 is that your midwife app?

Dreams2020 · 03/07/2019 16:12

Initial docs appointment for the referral to the midwife.

I have a feeling I maybe scanned early as I suffered from Graves’ disease, have been cleared for two years now but pregnancy can trigger thyroid issues.

Lets see what they say on Monday.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 03/07/2019 16:15

I saw the doctor yesterday as the receptionist told me they'd want to take a blood test, but she didn't. She just gave me the number for the midwives so I called them and have an appointment in 2.5 weeks' time. They are sending me stuff in the post which I may get today.

AuroraMJ · 03/07/2019 16:38

Hi all!

I'd like to join, please! Got my first faint line over a week ago, took a digital test on Saturday and it said 1-2 weeks pregnant! Nervous about it not sticking because I seem to be fairly unlucky on the women's health front!

Saw my GP on Monday, they didn't test me which I found odd but they've already contacted the local hospital and they called me today to book my bed for March 😯 They reckon due date is 8th March and keep telling me I'm 5 1/2 weeks but I work it out to be 4 1/2 - anyone else confused with these dates?! My last period started 31st May.

Congrats to all the other BFP's! Let's hope it's a happy and healthy 9 months! 🤞🏻❤️

H2OH20Everywhere · 03/07/2019 16:56

Hi @AuroraMJ, and welcome! Congratulations!

Can't believe you have to book a bed. Are you in the UK? NHS or private? (Sorry, I know I'm being nosy but I'm just so taken aback by that!)

I think the 4/5 week thing is the difference between completed week (so you're already 4 weeks' pregnant) and current week (you're in week 5) - I know the app I use allows you to switch between the two. But it does seem strange if they're telling you you are 5.5 weeks' pregnant.

My last period was the 27th and I'm seemingly due on the 2 March - if your cycle length is different to mine that would account for the anomoly there.

But only 5% of babies are born on their due date so who know's anyway?????
