Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Congratulations to all those who have just found out they’re pregnant!

I’m struggling so much with the nausea as it’s pretty constant all day, although worse in the mornings and afternoons. I’ve got a big work dinner tonight and I’m feeling so bad the thought of being in a boiling hot room is awful.

Does anyone know if midwives can refer you to other hospitals in different geographical areas? I’m moving areas quite soon after my eight week booking in appt and need to get a 12 week scan booked in for once we’ve moved as then we’re going away on holiday and I don’t want to miss being scanned at the correct time!

MockingJay27 · 16/07/2019 16:13

Does anyone with lower back ache feel like it's more on one side than the other. Mine definitely feels more to the right. I rang the midwife and they are rushing me in for a scan tomorrow to check it's not ectopic. I'm really trying to not to panic, I wouldn't say the pain is very severe more just an ache, I'm not bleeding or having any pain when going to the toilet. It's just the one sided thing that's worrying me ! Anyone especially those who've had previous pregnancys can help??

Abi58 · 16/07/2019 16:16

@MockingJay27 I've got pelvic and back pain on and off one sided but mines been one side for a day or so then switches. Making me curious if there's more than one in there 🙈

🤞🏻 for you but try not to worry I think they'd just rather get it checked out if you've told them about it but unless it's severe or bleeding and cramping badly as well it should be fine💕

DaniX91 · 16/07/2019 16:37

Hi everyone, I've finally got the reassurance I needed to actually join the group!
We got our BFP on 7th July (last Sunday) but had a bit of a rollercoaster since, had 3 trips to hospital because of one sided pain which was obviously worrying us because of the risk of eptopic.
I had a blood test on Friday then again on Sunday and thankfully the HCG had doubled so we've just had a scan and everything is how it should be 😊.
We saw the gestinational sac and the yolk sac and we're booked in for another scan on 30th July to see baby. I'm measuring 5wks 2days which is spot on based on my ovulation date.
So relieved! I hope everyone is well, congratulations to u all!x

Kam610 · 16/07/2019 16:43

@DaniX91 that's great news, glad to hear that. Can I ask you a question.. you say you are measuring 5 weeks 2 days, is that counting from the day of your last period or from day of conception? It's all so confusing to me!

barnyb · 16/07/2019 16:53

@AnxiousandExcited oh bless you. Mental health team for what? Is it the worry ?? xxx iv had terrible sickness but today it's seemed to have subsided and iv been worrying all day!!!!

Jesskir89 · 16/07/2019 17:13

Congrats all those who just got their bfp @MockingJay27 good luck for tomorrow I'll be in Rome but will keep checking for good news you're ok x

helpasisterout · 16/07/2019 17:24

@Jesskir89 thanks for your reply I did get in touch with GP who put me into midwives to get a scan tomorrow as dubious how far along I actually am but think I will now be cancellling come the morning as I know the outcome as this afternoon it has escalated into fresh red dark blood with some clots and lower back dull ache so I'm afraid I'm 99.9% I'm out the game this time 👎🏼

DaniX91 · 16/07/2019 17:37

@Kam610 thankyou! 5wks 2days since I ovulated so that'll be since conception, at the scan the gestinational sac measured 5wks 2days so it's all how it should be. It is confusing isn't it! X

DaniX91 · 16/07/2019 17:38

@helpasisterout I'm really sorry to hear that, look after yourself x

Dawnclark · 16/07/2019 17:48

Congratulations to everyone with March babies coming!
I've also just found out I'm pregnant with my first.
You will have to excuse my lack of understanding on how this whole thread thing works but if this does find itself to the right place. I would love any and all advice!

Jampot36 · 16/07/2019 17:49

@helpasisterout So sorry to hear that, hope you're as well as can be. You should still get the midwives to check you over. X

MockingJay27 · 16/07/2019 18:14

@DaniX91 that's so promising to hear

Jesskir89 · 16/07/2019 18:35

@helpasisterout I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you're doing ok. Stay positive it's not the end of the road sweet. Keep us posted x

DaniX91 · 16/07/2019 18:40

@MockingJay27 just try to stay positive cos stressing is no good (easy for me to say now I know) it's a good sign that the pain isn't severe and u don't have any bleeding. How far along are u?

MockingJay27 · 16/07/2019 18:43

@DaniX91 4 weeks 3 days according to LMP. Got my positive test Thursday, got dramatically darker over 3 days which apparently is a good sign against ectopic

DaniX91 · 16/07/2019 19:11

@MockingJay27 that's good. What time is your scan tomorrow? Please keep us informed

Cupcakes1234 · 16/07/2019 19:59

@MockingJay27 I was in hospital Thursday night-Friday with suspected eptopic. I was getting pains on my left side in my lower abdomen and left shoulder pain. It was pretty scary experience but they kept me after going to A&E. My scan on Friday revealed baby is fine, growing in the right place and has a heartbeat and doing fine. Try not to worry too much. I know it's hard not to though. I'm due the 27th of Feb but no doubt will be a March baby going by how late my first was lol

MockingJay27 · 16/07/2019 20:27

@Cupcakes1234 @DaniX91 ThankYou ladies, I'm just trying to stay relaxed and get a good nights sleep tonight. It's good that they are seeing me so quick. My pain is definitely not severe. The back pain seems to be a lot worse at my desk. I read that ectopics don't usually show symptoms until around week 6 on average. With me being 4 weeks I'm hoping it's just my uterus stretching. My appointment is at 10 am. I will update you all tomorrow xx

avocadoincident · 16/07/2019 21:07

@helpasisterout please try and see the midwives tomorrow to double check everything.
Have you got real life support as well as all of us here?

helpasisterout · 16/07/2019 21:16

@avocadoincident thank you I'm going to go anyway feel a fraud going knowing what's happening but suppose I need to check it's happening as it should 😔

Yes thank you my OH is wonderful but just sadly having to work late tonight and once it is all confirmed tomorrow I will tell my good friend who is great in a bad situation and will keep it to herself as per my wishes xx but the support on here is great!

helpasisterout · 17/07/2019 09:55

Thanks all for your messages you are all so kind and deserve all the happiness that your little beans bring you for being so kind to me.

Been for my scan had internal and external and blood and urine and they have confirmed a miscarriage at aprox 6 weeks, naturally we are both gutted after taking a while to get to this point but can't fault the staff etc for their service.

Going home to chill out and won't be checking these threads but I wish each and every one of you all the best in your pregnancies and hope to join you in motherhood soon! Xxx

MockingJay27 · 17/07/2019 10:09

Hi Everyone, so I've been to the hospital this morning, the nurse said she wouldn't have recommended the ultrasound as it's highly unlikely to see anything at 4 weeks. They did it anyway as I was here but didn't see anything. They said everything looks healthy and they can see my womb lining has thickened but it's too early to see anything more whether heathy or ectopic. They've taken my blood and I will come back in a couple of days for another blood test. If HCG has increased I will have another scan in a week or 2. Just going to try and relax, they didn't seem overly concerned but nothing can be ruled out at this stage. X

Jesskir89 · 17/07/2019 11:27

@helpasisterout thinking of you and don't lose hope. Look after yourself. @MockingJay27 that news sounds hopeful! Sorry they couldn't give you a definite x

AnxiousandExcited · 17/07/2019 13:53

@Mrskcam that's sounds really awful I'd hate to be working in a burger place now! Can't seem to cook even at home... how do you do it?
@barnyb It's the anxiety and worrying that the midwives are worrying about i guess :) though I have no idea if the mental health team are any good. I'm doing a little better this week but still very anxious and scared. Had some brown spotting for a few days already - I spotted during my other pregnancies and they were fine but it still is worrying! But doing okay otherwise at the mo.
