Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Your uterus doesn’t pop out of the safety of your pelvis until at least 12 weeks so abdominal work really shouldn’t be an issue.

Nefelibata86 · 14/07/2019 22:30

I’m keeping with the usual exercise like high impact circuit type and dr confirmed netball ok as strictly speaking is non contact but I did have a Midriff collision afterwards which spooked me . Think I’ll continue and revisit after first trimester -at some point I think care has to be taken lying on back for instance. It really is such a minefield and hard to know what to do for the best ie have heard conflicting info re ab crunches

Mrskcam · 14/07/2019 22:50

Hi all can I join please, I got my bfp today and will be 4 weeks tomorrow

Ni4444 · 14/07/2019 23:16

@avocadoincident yay a due date twin!! Congrats!! Totally freaking out about how I'll manage once nausea kicks in...if I'm in the house mummy obsessed son insists I do all the bedtimes and night-time resettles!!! OH is gonna have to up his game!!!

@gingerrogers84 amazing achievement!! I was really careful with my eating in pregnancy #1 so didn't gain excess weight...but I was rather hesitant with exercise/nauseous so just did walking and pregnancy yoga (and then shitloads of pram walking during maternity leave so great news on the scales although probably very little muscle!)

I recently did 6 weeks of the bodycoach but found him unmotivating (toddler stopped sleeping well again too!) so took 3 weeks off and now back on 3/4 hiit/circuits home workouts a week. Can we keep up ab twists and whatnot for trimester one or should we start adapting those moves immediately?

How is everyone?

Today I have actually been sick for the first time instead of just nauseous 🤢😩

AuroraMJ · 15/07/2019 08:56

@Abi58 I feel your pain. The nausea kicked in massively over the weekend for me too. Been dry heaving but not been sick yet - feels like it's going to happen soon though!

Do you also feel like you're hungover? I feel like I'm constantly on the verge of a headache!

Abi58 · 15/07/2019 09:08

@AuroraMJ 🤞🏻 it stays like that for you! I went straight from feeling really nauseous to vomiting 😩 been nauseous since ovulation and really nauseous and dizzy for a week 🤢

Ish I've had a few bad side headaches but mostly feel dizzy and sick

Still shaky after this morning 🙈

AuroraMJ · 15/07/2019 09:10

@Abi58 Tbh, I've felt like I just want to be sick because dry heaving is horrid and frustrating. I mean, I'd rather not feel sick at all but I guess it comes with the territory 🙈

I had waves of nausea before but it is literally non-stop all day now. Hope it eases for you 🤞🏻

Jesskir89 · 15/07/2019 10:04

I've not had sickness yet but achne and hot flushes. Also need a wee all the time x

Abi58 · 15/07/2019 10:12

@AuroraMJ I felt that that too but although it relieved it a bit not completely 😩
Thank you hope yours eases too!

@Jesskir89 I had that too hopefully you skip the nausea 🤞🏻

avocadoincident · 15/07/2019 11:22

@Ni4444 Sounds like we are on the same boat. I do all the bedtimes and I'm still breastfeeding so god knows what will happen going forward.

We won't be the first in this position and we'll find a way through it and then look back and laugh!

gingerbiscuitqueen · 15/07/2019 12:23

Hello! Can I please join? Got my bfp last week due with DC2 11th March. According to Ovia I am 5 weeks 5 days Grin. Feel just as nervous about this one as I did my first!

When did everyone's sickness / nausea kick in? Worried I've had nothing yet Sad x

barnyb · 15/07/2019 14:05

@gingerbiscuitqueen hello! Congratulations! I'm due 8th. Iv had really bad socked for the last week or so. Just feeling sick not actually being sick. I notice it's worse with I take my vitamins so I now take that before bed instead. What are your symptoms so far? X

Dinosauraddict · 15/07/2019 15:03

@gingerbiscuitqueen I'm due the same day as you! Also 5+5!

Kam610 · 15/07/2019 15:07

Hi ladies can I join? I just got my BFP today. First baby. Over the moon! According to my Flo app I will be due 28th March. No idea what to expect! So far experiencing extremely sore breasts and nausea!

dream109 · 15/07/2019 16:01

Hello, everyone, can I join please? I got a BFP 2 weeks ago. It's my first baby so I have no idea what I'm doing lol. I'm due 8th March according to Ovia. I've had quite a few bad cramps (which made me test in the first place) but they've eased right off, replaced by wind cramps occasionally (I have IBS). I have a UTI now (ugh) and slightly sore boobs. Looking forward to going back over this thread but if you have any tips, I'd love to hear them. :)

gingerbiscuitqueen · 15/07/2019 17:52

@Dinosauraddict Congratulations! How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

@barnyb aw thank you very much! I've just had tiredness and zero energy. It's so much harder with a toddler in tow .

@dream109 not really advice but just try and get as much rest as possible and eat little and often Smile

Jesskir89 · 15/07/2019 18:05

Has everyone been referred to a midwife? I'm so upset tonight my friends mum offered to be my midwife and told me not to go to my doctors but she will come to my house tonight and do everything with me and refer me for an easy scan due to me being high risk. She's not turned up and can't get hold of her :(

Abi58 · 15/07/2019 18:24

@Jesskir89 maybe speakto your mum if it's her friend? Would that have been through the nhs? Not sure how she could do it like that but I don't know the ins and outs.

I have booked mine with my surgery they want to see me at 8 weeks so you'll still have time to book that way if she's disappeared.

Jesskir89 · 15/07/2019 18:35

Thanks @Abi58 sorry it's my friends mum and she said all the doctors will do is refer me to a midwife but you can pick your own anyway. I might give her til tomorrow as I go to Rome on Wednesday. I'm only around 4W 2D so I have got time just frustrating x

Abi58 · 15/07/2019 18:56

@Jesskir89 ah sorry I misread ☺️ Rome sounds lovely hopefully will take your mind off it.
Speak to your friend something might have happened you never know. That is still really early so try not to worry ☺️

barnyb · 15/07/2019 19:05

Hello @dream109 ! I'm also due on 8th! apparently ! but when you have a scan they will most likely change that to a later date. how are you feeling ? Xx

barnyb · 15/07/2019 19:06

@dream109 did you get antibiotics from your doctor re UTI? important to get that sorted ASAP. also you will be less bloated once that's gone xx

barnyb · 15/07/2019 19:09

@Mrskcam congratulations!! :) is this your first baby? Xx

barnyb · 15/07/2019 19:12
