Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Hi everyone,

Do you mind if I join? Just found out on Friday and estimated due date 21st March but not seen a doctor or midwife yet. Very nervous but excited as TTC for 32 months

Keyboard91 · 14/07/2019 16:52

Hi everyone, can I join? I’m 28 and if successful this will be our first baby. Got my bfp today - mixture of nerves and excitement. Had a MC in February at 6 weeks which is adding some additional anxiety ... but this feels different to my first pregnancy so I’m hoping that’s a positive sign 🤞

Dinosauraddict · 14/07/2019 17:00

Welcome @Jesskir89 and @Keyboard91!

2beautifullittlemonkeys · 14/07/2019 17:09

Hi could I join? Sorry I’m late..
I have pcos so I’m really not sure how many weeks I am but I’m guessing around 6 weeks. Had a scan around 2 weeks ago after bleeding with small clots, could only see sac back tomorrow morning for another scan... nervous!
Congratulations to everyone!!

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 17:25

@2beautifullittlemonkeys good luck for your scan tomorrow hope everything goes well for you :)

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 17:26

And thank you @Dinosauraddict you can't get rid of me haha

barnyb · 14/07/2019 17:26

@Keyboard91 how do you mean different? I only ask because my pregnancy feels different to my the previous pregnancies too x

Keyboard91 · 14/07/2019 17:33

Thank you @Dinosauraddict :)

@barnyb it’s strange. I feel more ‘pregnant’. And I feel like I imagined it would feel like to be pregnant. More ‘usual’ symptoms. I think that’s the best way to explain it. In January I knew before I tested, same as this time, but didn’t have many of the usual symptoms, just random things that were unusual for me (and some equated with pregnancy when I googled). It’s weird. I don’t know if any of that made sense 🙈 how do you feel different? Xx

barnyb · 14/07/2019 17:59

@Keyboard91 oh really ! I'm very similar! My last pregnancies where the same as each other. I was very tired and I had a few head aches but really not much going on really. and this time I'm super sick and find everything super gross. And tired of course! But also I'm SO LAZY !!!!

2beautifullittlemonkeys · 14/07/2019 18:08

@Jesskir89 thankyou I don’t know how I’ve stayed sane waiting all this time for this re scan. How are you feeling any symptoms?

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 18:20

@2beautifullittlemonkeys you have to stay sane you don't want to be stressing out it won't do you any good. Yes I've got a few symptoms I know before I tested too. Dull belly ache, sore boobs, cervical fluid etc (sorry not nice) what symptoms have you had?

2beautifullittlemonkeys · 14/07/2019 19:52

Literally the same although I think the worst has got to be the sore boobs and the sicky feeling followed by the fact I could fall to sleep almost anywhere! Is this your first?

MunchyMunchkin · 14/07/2019 20:29

Welcome to everyone who’s joined in the last few days.
I’ve just got back from a few days in Cornwall and and absolutely shattered. Was hard work putting on a good show when I was tired and a bit nauseous.

Frillyfarmer · 14/07/2019 20:34

@Abi58 I came home yesterday to a letter from hospital - scan on 23rd where I think I'll be 8weeks bang on. It's going to be a very very long wait before then but I'm flat out with work this week so between that and the toddler I couldn't fit in a sneaky scan even if I wanted!

@MunchyMunchkin snap - I'm just back from a few days in cornwall and also exhausted. The weather has been fab hasn't it? We've had lots of beach trips and sneaky drinking appletizer in champagne flutes in front of family but my little boy has just run us both ragged and I've had a 2.5 hour nap this afternoon to catch up on 💤

MunchyMunchkin · 14/07/2019 20:39

@Frillyfarmer snap! Absolutely fab weather perfect for the little ones. We were right down past Penzance.
My dad didn’t notice but my brother and SIL who we stayed with did. They were kind enough not to ask me but I did tell them just as we left. Had told my mum on tues as knew SIL would work it out when we didn’t have a boozy dinner when the grandparents were babysitting.

Frillyfarmer · 14/07/2019 20:45

@MunchyMunchkin yes we were near St Ives so not far away! Luckily my Cornish family don't know me well enough to suss how much of a booze hound I am, my cousin did guess when she accidentally picked up my G&T and realised it had no G in it! The early days are so hard - because of my previous losses I'm a bit more relaxed about people knowing because I've been open about both MCs but I'd rather just carry on as normal at the moment and not get too excited just in case.

MrsS88 · 14/07/2019 20:48

Good evening ladies. New to this forum as didn’t know about it. I’m 30 from Berkshire and due baby number 3 in March 4th. Very excited to share this journey with you all. I’m on a Facebook group for UK mums and one of the members mentioned some of you ladies with official bfp’s Wanting to join. If you would like to you can send me a message and I can send you the link to the group as for now we are keeping the group well hidden as other mums to be are nervous about others finding them on it. Xx

MunchyMunchkin · 14/07/2019 20:50

@Frillyfarmer we were in st ives on Friday - it was heaving.

GingerRogers84 · 14/07/2019 20:58

@Ni4444 I lost 10lbs of baby weight and got back to a size 10. Then I immediately fell pregnant! 😂
I'm going to knock the HIIT and kettlebells on the head but keep up very long dog walks and using my exercise bike. I stopped doing anything last pregnancy and regretted it. What sort of stuff have you been doing! X

nicannie · 14/07/2019 20:59

Congratulations everyone else due in March!

I'm almost 7 weeks so will be due March as well, not had any scans or appointments yet so no actual date as of yet 🙂

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 21:09

@2beautifullittlemonkeys yes this will be my first. MC prior when I was 20 at 16 weeks so a little nervous but staying positive. I've been hitting the gym lately to lose weight thinking I needed ivf. I'm still overweight but DH doesn't want me at the gym in the first trimester what are everyone else's thoughts? I walk the dog daily too

MunchyMunchkin · 14/07/2019 21:16

@jesskir89 it’s fine to continue with your normal exercise if you feel well enough.

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 21:20

@munchymunchkin thank you weren't sure if there was specific thinks I might have to stay away from as I do a lot of bootcamps and circuits etc

ttc19 · 14/07/2019 21:32

@Jesskir89 I spoke to one of the personal trainers at the gym and he said I was fine to carry on with spinning, Tabata circuits & HIIT but to avoid abdominal exercises such as crunches x

Jesskir89 · 14/07/2019 22:24

Thanks @ttc19 that's a big help. I might avoid classed for now and just do some cardio
