Not sure if there is a May thread. I’m due 9th of May. 3 weeks 4 days not that I’m counting the of course.

Are you guys ready?
Have any of you had babies already?
How are you feeling generally?

Still waiting, so impatient, 10 days until due date- Hurry up baby! Been having period pains on and off for nearly 2 weeks now - 4/5 engaged hoping he arrives sooner rather than later

Feeling very restless today, wanted to go out and stay busy but have no energy at all but cant switch off! Chilled all day and tried to nap, had a long bath, nothings helping. Getting fed up now... 39+4

I went for a presentation scan today as they suspected baby might be breech. Thankfully baby is head down and all looks reassuringly average!
My TENS machine has also arrived so enjoyed testing giving myself electric shocks!

I was sent for the same scan for the same thing last week! Midwife mistook her bum for her head. Shes been engaged for over 4 weeks but doesn't seem to want to budge!!! Haha I have a tens I made hubby test it which was highly amusing! X

How’s everyone today? Any signs of any babies arriving? I’m 38+3 and have booked in all of my sweeps and induction with midwife today, very exciting!
Hope everyone is feeling well. I stupidly ran for the bus today and had some quite painful BH after but they’ve since died down unfortunately and I won’t be running for any more buses this pregnancy!

Just been in fr monitoring again due to reduced movements, all is fine. Machine showed I was having tightenings can feel mild period pains in my back but not getting excited yet... booked in for induction on Monday if she doesn't come before hand! And in for daily monitoring x

Those tightenings sound promising let’s hope they turn into some contractions over the next day or so! Make sure you rest up! If induction is booked in for Monday then it really won’t be long at all before you’re snuggling your new baby!

Not guna lie induction scares the shit out of me but I just want her out and safe now she loves giving me the silent treatment. Was offered a sweep but declined dont want to put myself through it to then be prodded on Monday anyway! I didn't realise induction meant labour ward and staying in aswell but hey ho!! X

I had a 2nd sweep today which was successful, MW said I am 2cm but still posterior cervix.
I am booked in for an induction tomorrow morning, suddenly everything feels very real!! It was meant to be Thursday but they are too busy so offered me tomorrow.
As it is my 2nd I will be able to go home after having the pessary, all being well, until things start to progress a bit more. Took 18 hours before I felt so much as back ache last time so I am happy I can go home and get some rest at least.

I dont know if it's in my head but I've been having cramping and slight back ache since my sweep so who knows what's going on in there! Hopefully not too much longer.

Been in since 11, had pessary and sweep at half 1, nothing has happened yet! Not allowed home at my hosp when you're in you're in until you've given birth. Fingers crossed something kicks off or it's another pessary at 1.30 tomorrow! X

She arrived on the 17th at 23.54 but weve had alot of issues trying to get us both healthy again. Been in hospital 8 days now I am exhausted! Baby struggled to breathe, had infection and was taken away. She is picking up now and fingers crossed we can go home soon. I ended up 23hrs in labour, 3 hours pushing, theatre for attemptive forceps then csection with spinal block as the pain was coming through the section! Very traumatic and sore but I love her so much. My milk is in too. Wow!

Congratulations @xJune88! Sorry you had such a long stay in hospital. I was in 7 days with my first as we both had an infection. It's so tiring having to be a single parent through the night! Hope you manage to rest and get well and enjoy your little girl! 😊💐
