Not sure if there is a May thread. I’m due 9th of May. 3 weeks 4 days not that I’m counting the of course.

Are you guys ready?
Have any of you had babies already?
How are you feeling generally?

I would call triage/mw and get some advice. From what I've seen this typically happens close to labour starting rather than a few weeks before (although I may be wrong), so i would call and see what they say. It'll give you peace of mind at least.

midwife just phoned me back there, apparently it's quite normal and to keep an eye on everything. But all is good for now! Xx

Good to hear all is ok! I used to knicker check in panic and for the wrong reasons now I cant wait to see my plug Haha xx

Had some low sharp pains today, a few times. Thought something was happening as it lasted a little while both times but then stopped and nothing further this evening. The pain wasnt in my bump it was lower so I'm thinking maybe she is just getting lower.

I didnt have any 'twinges' with my first (and was induced) so I'm thinking/hoping this is a good sign of my body getting ready!

Anyone had similar? I'm 39 weeks.

How is everyone doing? Any babies arrive yet? My May baby arrived last few days of April 😂

Congratulations @may2019babies!!!! Amazing news. I am still going, but have 2 weeks to dd anyway. I had the same as you @rc18 last night, really sharp pains low down about 3/4 times then nothing since. How is everyone else?

Congratulations May!! 😊💖 I'll be another few weeks at least, although I'd love him to get a move on. He had engaged but he's come back out to give my ribs and stomach a good kicking! 😩 are boys always this mean? 😂

Congratulations May!! I was in hospital again yesterday shes really testing my patience this baby!! Reduced movements for second time in a week. Doctor came round who was horrible to be honest and made me feel like an inconvenience or a liar. He asked me there and then if I wanted a sweep or said I could stay in hospital for the next 3 weeks or be induced. No thinking time given just felt very panicked and unsure and didn't know what any of these consisted of. A midwife then came and said I could go home, booked me in for a scan today and said to go back and get monitored if I felt I needed to. Why didn't the doctor offer that?! Was so distressing. Baby has wiggled since and this morning but having a doppler scan today just for peace of mind and think if I was to have another episode I would get induced. Not the birth I wanted but my anxiety is awful!! Hope everyone is ok x

Glad she's wriggled though! Completely understand the anxiety I'm with you, the closer the due date gets the more you worry 😳.

Yeah I'm the same @pregobaker I'm getting more anxious and stressed. Not even about labour or pain just worrying about her and if shell be ok! Just waiting for them to ring me with a time for scan. I feel like I cant trust myself any more and I've lost sync with her 'pattern' (non existent) I've felt her today but then she goes quiet... it's so frustrating! X

xJune88 sounds very stressful, and that doctors pressure was unnecessary!! I agree with you about the stress over movements. It's so much harder now to be aware, probably because we're focused on what could be a sign of labour at this point! Hope the next couple of weeks goes well for you and you get the labour you want

Had a scan and everything looks ok, have to wait to see a doctor before we can leave.. been here 2 hours already, snore. Hope its not the same doctor as yesterday or I think I'll just cry. So now I'm just thinking what the hell do I do now? Should I of accepted induction or been kept in under pressure with no idea what was involved or go home as planned and be monitored as required (shes been fine tday) scan showed shed moved position too so I'm wondering if that's why my movements have changed again! Shes such a gremlin! X

My first day of maternity leave and I am so impatient! 38 weeks today. How is everyone else passing the time?

So today's the day I get to meet my little one, C-section between 9 and 12. I just got to wait to see what order we all go down in.eek scary but excited.

Just waiting, it seems like forever, which in reality is only about 2 and a half, 3 hours away. Compared to 9 months it's nothing but seems like an age.
