I need some pregnancy buddies. It's so hard because no one know I'm pregnant yet except my husband and our parents.
Not sure if I'm 4 or 8 weeks, waiting for an appointment and scan to figure that one out!
But either way, I need preggo friends!
Anyone wanna chat on here?

Im in same situation as you hun, its so hard to keep quiet i think im only about 8 weeks myself, congratulations xx

Elleraa · 05/02/2019 15:23

@KezP
I'm 4+2 so maybe a bit behind!

I had a previous MMC so will be keeping quiet for quite a while!

Twinkle91 · 05/02/2019 15:38

@KezP

I’m 8 +1 today. Going through a rollercoaster of issues, but am going it alone as the sperm donor is a #*£((&@&(. To put it politely.

So the more Preggo friends the merrier!

CatSmize · 05/02/2019 15:39

Hi! I'm 7+1 and I haven't seen my friends since before Christmas because of the holidays, then I had a cold for 2 weeks and now awful "morning" sickness that I can't tell them about.

I want to tell my BF in person but I'm too sick to actually meet up so I have to keep saying I'm "ill" which, while true, is starting to wear a little thin!

Last week I was so ill but I'm a lot better this week, thank goodness. I have my first appt at the hospital on Thursday and apparently here (I live abroad) they will do a scan to date the pregnancy which is exciting as I thought I'd have to wait 'til 12 weeks!

Babycakes1989 · 05/02/2019 16:19

I’m 6+5 and same only told parents. I had a mmc in July last year so terrified and don’t want to get too attached 😢😢 congratulations everyone 😘 xxxx

BillyAndTheSillies · 05/02/2019 16:24

A bit behind, I'm only just four weeks but good to have here because of trying to keep it quiet IRL.
I've told DH (obviously), my hairdresser because I had to cancel a Brazilian blow dry and a woman I work with. She'd worked it out because I've stopped smoking over night!
Going to book an early scan in a few weeks and hopefully will be able to bring DS in if it all goes OK, then tell our parents.

Ilikehamsandwiches · 05/02/2019 16:30

Congratulations everyone, I’m 4+4. Quite nervous after an ectopic and ivf but keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 😊

BettyWoo · 05/02/2019 16:49

Hello ladies, I'm 8 weeks and would love some pregnancy pals. Haven't told anyone yet and quite nervous as I'm 40 and my ds's are 20 and 18 so I'm a bit out of practice! Congratulations to all you lovely mummies, looking forward to sharing the next few months with you!

Frizzy1986 · 05/02/2019 19:08

I'm 5+4 and other than sore boobs don't feel pregnant at all! It concerns me a lot. I want the nausea to start as maybe it will feel real and like it might actually stick, but I also really don't want any sickness.
Am getting cramps and that is about it.

Babycakes1989 · 05/02/2019 19:54

I’m not getting any sickness either. I did feel really dizzy this morning though. X

umck2014 · 05/02/2019 20:37

I’m 5+5 with my second. Apart from DH (obvs) I told my best friend today. Haven’t told my parents yet as I want to wait until my first scan.

Did someone mention an ‘early scan’? Is it through private?

Not sure if I can wait till 12 weeks for my first appt!

AniSL · 05/02/2019 20:44

I am 5+3 and had an early scan yesterday, too early for a heartbeat but enough to measure and see a yolk sac, done on NHS. Next scan will be in 2 weeks. Only DH and I know and our managers given we need time off for appts. My nausea comes on at night so getting away with it so far

PastaSauceHoarder · 05/02/2019 21:04

Hello, can I join please? Would love some pregnancy friends, I'm 8+3 weeks with what will hopefully be my second baby. Smile

I've had nausea from 7 weeks and vomiting from 8 - its all kicking in now! Starting to feel quite similar to my last pregnancy (now a bouncy little 20 month old).

@BettyWoo those age gaps will be amazing! Your older kids will be so involved with this baby, how lovely. Theres 18 years between my eldest brother and my youngest brother and they get on fantastically.
Have you told them yet? Smile

@umck2014 I'm getting an early scan next week, only mine will be a private one. Its only about £45 round here so I'm taking advantage - I'm so nervous and I just can't wait until my 12 week scan!!

And congratulations everyone else! 🎉

MrsMummyoftwo · 05/02/2019 21:32

I'm 4+6 weeks with my third. It was a surprise (well, we weren't trying to conceive but we weren't exactly being careful either!) husband is not happy but accepts we've just got to get on with it. I'm getting really excited but don't feel I can show it at home and I haven't told anyone else.

CraazyCatLady · 05/02/2019 21:38

Hey ladies, congratulations all. I found out on Sunday, and I'm 4+1 today. I was so shocked. Have been trying for a while, and as I'm 35 I was worried something was wrong. Had been for my 21 day bloods and should have gone in for day 2 bloods today, but obviously didn't need to. It feels weird. Have only really had mild period type aches but nothing else. Only myself, my boyfriend and my friend from work now. I had to tell my friend, as I work in a job that could be risky and I was a bit scared! I'm now scared about symptoms starting soon, as I'm off on an amazing 3 week holiday to Sri Lanka, so hoping I feel well for it!

PastaSauceHoarder · 05/02/2019 21:42

Oh wow @CraazyCatLady, what a holiday! If it helps my symptoms didn't properly kick in with both my pregnancies until around 7 weeks (though obviously I know everyone is different!)

When do you go? I'm wishing you an easy symptomless few weeks!

CraazyCatLady · 05/02/2019 21:50

Thank you @PastaSauceHoarder, I go on Friday. Will be travelling around a lot. Only staying for a max of 3 nights in each place, some places less. Will be doing lots of walking and things. Just really hope I don't feel sick or tired and hope I don't go off curry! Grin As you can probably tell, I'm new to all this and it's scary! x

umck2014 · 05/02/2019 22:26

@PastaSauceHoarder I must look around here and see if any places do them here. Would love to have an early scan so I could tell my parents a bit earlier.

@CrazyCatLady Your holiday sounds amazing! I remember I was sooooo tired during my first trimester with my 1st child, I was so glad to be able to get away from work for 3 weeks (planned holidays too). All the fresh air and exercise sounds great for you, hope you won’t get too tired like I did.

Megan2018 · 05/02/2019 22:57

8+2 here, almost 41, first pg and terrified!
We are telling no-one until we are passed 12 weeks and have NIPT results.

Littlehouseinthebigcity · 06/02/2019 09:29

6 + 3 here, has a mc in October, so very nervous! Currently fairly nauseous but by far the worst symptom is the fatigue!! I am so tired, and definitely relying on CBeebies more than I’d like for my toddler :(

PastaSauceHoarder · 06/02/2019 09:38

@CraazyCatLady sounds like a proper adventure! Ahh what a shame it would be if you lost your appetite - a curry sounds lovely right now.

Well since waking up all I can think about it eating a good few slices of white bread toast. Sounds easy enough but we've only ever been buying brown bread for years (which toasted makes me feel sick at the mo 🤢). Anyone else getting cravings yet? My biggest one is fresh orange juice, I'm going to end up rotting my teeth.

Lisalou88 · 06/02/2019 10:17

Hi I’m around 5 weeks pregnant, this is my first baby and my & my husband have been ttc for 18 months & has 2 losses last year so I am terrified right now. The only symptoms I have are sore boobs & quite a bit of cramping which is freaking me out but I know if can all be normal. Also suffering quite a bit from trapped wind 😳 we won’t be telling anyone till after 12 weeks due to our previous losses so it’s good to have some company on here xx

MrsSoonToBeMummy · 06/02/2019 10:39

I just found out I'm pregnant on sunday morning and took another test this morning to be sure. Both positive and stating 3+ weeks but to be honest, like you, I have no idea actually how far along I am. I came off the contraceptive implant before ttc and have had no period in between so I'm clueless really. Also having to wait for an appointment and scan to determine that which feels like a lifetime away.

BettyWoo · 06/02/2019 10:57

@PastaSauceHolder DP and I haven't told anyone yet, we're waiting till we see the scan. Oldest ds is at uni but he guessed a while ago this was on the cards, he will be so excited! Youngest ds will be surprised but I think he's going to love being a big brother after being the baby for so long! Hang in there with the sickness, hopefully it will pass soon Smile

BettyWoo · 06/02/2019 11:01

@LisaLou88 congratulations! The first trimester is scary isn't it, but everything you've mentioned sounds totally normal. Will you be able to get an early scan to put your mind at rest a bit? Keeping everything crossed for your sticky bean anyway!
