i def do not agree with hv advice let her cry and havent been following that either at 4 weeks thats ridiculas to even suggest it
i am gonna try feeding dd for longer
im handling the feeding alright be so nice for it to be every 2 hours though

im happy about the number of nappies and theres wet and dirty ones but also still slighty concered that there green
its difficult to be happy bout wight gain when hv says it must be a min of 4-5oz and u feel like uve just scrapped in at 4 and a half
but i dont know anyone else that has ben told you have to gain x amount of weight in a week
what was u told with ds?

i dont feed her everytime she crys i try other stuff rock with her sing and dance with her give her a cuddle
nappies temp etc

did your ds ever have a wek when he didnt gain at all?
i really dont seem to have much milk though when i was pregnant didnt have a tiny at speck of milk at all
i never leak milk at all
all day i havent had b pads in to see if i even leak a tiny drop but no nothing
never seem full ,def dont start squirting when dd crys
i wish they did that would be great

im doing a long feed now dd has just had 30 mins on the left dh has just done her nappy now shes on the right

when u said this ....ru going to try doing bigger feeds (i used to try and feed DS for around 30mins per breast per feed and then he would go another 2hrs from finishing to starting his next feed!

did u mean u ment ds feed for 30 mins left thn 30mins right an hour in total ?approx

we are quite well i think
same old story still finding the bf hard work but i guess that is bcause its not easy[ well maybe it is for some lucky ones]

expressed some milk yesterday for the first time.i wasnt sure how dd would take to it esp as she seems to love bf as she wants to do it all day but
dd guzzled it down in mins !! took me an hour to express 2 and a half fl oz

i did warm it in hot water as but i was scared of making it too warm so i guess i just took the chill off it was quite cool really
funny thing is as soon as dd guzzled the whole lot she then started crying and wanteed a bf top up
i expressed twice today got 3 foz nearly
then i think ill leav the expressing for a few days as some people say it can slow milk production
