MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 14:44

Firststar ? here?s the link to Lissie?s thread in conception here .

Pinkbutterfly ? All I can think of is ?Jolene? by Dolly Parton Think bad Bond

Chooster ? got your email, don?t worry! Both DH and I would be delighted with some extra time off work! Poor little mite, no wonder he didn?t want any food It was lovely to see you all anyway!

KitKat30 · 02/04/2007 14:52

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 15:25

KitKat PMSL out loud, very loudly!! I like Blofield, yes it was crap Bond as in dear old James!

PinkButterfly · 02/04/2007 15:33

Chooster - you got me!!!! I am indeed an Angie although only my wee mummy calls me that, for everyone else I'm Angela (sometimes DH calls me Bo as in AngieBo - have no clue where that came from but I answer to it anyway!) Had forgotten there was a track by Rolling Stones. I was meaning Helen Reddy's Angie Baby but you got there anyway!

MrsMc - sorry still no idea re the 007 hint - will need to wait for someone more James Bond savvy than me to hit the jackpot!

PinkButterfly · 02/04/2007 15:34

MrsMc - Is it MOORE???

BabyMadwithBump · 02/04/2007 16:05

Hi ladies how are we getting on?
Tuck a pic of THE bump today let me know what you think, I really do feel big but do I look big? Dh is beeping (when wideloads are reversing) as I'm getting into bed! LOL

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 16:23

PinkyButterfly - you got it!

Babymad - Yes, it's big!!! V mine would not look as good as that even if I had one! Love your wedding photo too, you look so happy! Your DH is VERY cheeky!! but it was v funny too!

PinkButterfly · 02/04/2007 16:24

Hi Babymad - that looks a good healthy size bump. From your pic you look as if you are all out to the front which I think can make you look bigger. I am the same with this pg and quite a few people have asked how long I have to go as they seem to think I'm about 8mths and ready to drop! psml at your DH beeping.

PinkButterfly · 02/04/2007 16:29

Yeeahhh MrsMc - Kitkat did suggest it with a couple others in her post before mine though. I googled the name and drop down menu automatically gave me suggestion of Mandy Moore Lyrics so assumed she is pop star - never heard of her though!

PinkButterfly · 02/04/2007 16:30

Kitkat - I'll half my cyber chocolate prize with you ! How are you doing ?? xx

MrsMcEasterBunny · 02/04/2007 16:36

Sorry KitKat

Babymad - if I said the wrong thing about your lovely bump, I apologise, all bumps look big to me!

honeyapple · 02/04/2007 16:37

Lovely bump Babymad!

Well they made me go and see Mr bean... it wasnt too horrendous... although a lot went over DD's head as were subtitles for french bits... spent a lot of time explaining the jokes . Ate lots of popcorn which was nice though .

BabyMadwithBump · 02/04/2007 16:39

I was asked the other week when I was due when I said I was only 20weeks they looked very shocked, I've been thinking since "am I that big" oh well. I cant remember what I was like with DSs I think I looked about the same, poeple used to say "you look like I have a football up your top" (feels like football team this time) but this LO seems alot more active cant sleep kicking and moving all night! Yes MrsMc DH is very cheeky, how are you?!

babymad - your 20 wk bump doesn't look too much bigger than your 14 week bump to me! its a lovely bump anyway so who cares how big it is! at least its a definate pg bump, i just look lardy at the mo! too fat for normal clothes but not quite big enough for maternity clothes.

how could you NOT be a lola mrs? i am dissapointed. i reckon from looking at your chart (yep.......i still chart spot! but not everyone!) that you have ov'd. try not to pin too much hope on getting pg straight away though. i know it seems like evryone on here gets pg straight away after mc (or lots of people have recently), but don't be too down if it doesn't happen for you staright away. (not that there is any reaon why it shouldn't, i just don't want you to get really down if af turns up)

i have had a lovely afternoon gardening with the kids 'helping' me! its really gorgeous outside today! i love the sun sooooooooooooooo much!

when is my ms going to go by the way? its gtting a bit boring now!

greedyforbabies · 02/04/2007 17:24

firsty - hello! i used to love watching my bump move! it used to go mad in the bath! and if i put the radio alarm clock next to my tummy!

BabyMadwithBump · 02/04/2007 17:30

greedyforbabies 22+3 must not forget the 2+3 LOL, feel like a kid when I people use to say something like yes 13 yrs, no, 13 yrs 4 month and 20 days LOL, but yes very real bump!

firststar I know what you mean I was in the bath yesterday and DH could clearly see bump moving about with even tuching it, and when I was at MIL at the week end I put a remote control on my bump and baby was kicking it everyone could see the remote going wappie! LOL.

greedyforbabies · 02/04/2007 17:35

sorry babymad! i am just the same! when people asked me at the weekend how many weeks i was, i kept saying 13 1/2! not just 13!

BabyMadwithBump · 02/04/2007 17:50

LOL

fettleandminifettle · 02/04/2007 19:48

Babymad - that's a good bump!! I hope mine is as well formed by the time I get to 22+3!!

Firststar - DH will eventually see and feel the little one - my DH took a while to see fettle 1 move - it took him to lie on my tummy and fettle 1 took umbrage and kicked him off!!!

I can't wait until I feel minifettle move - I keep thinking I have odd flickerings, but then think I can't do, I'm too early, even if scan lady puts me at 15+3! No way - going to check dates with consultant tomorrow and see if I can disagree with 35 years of experience with the fact that I know my body!!!

Do we know everyone's real name now - or do we still have any to guess - I've actually no idea what anyone's real name is any more anyway - pg brain forgotten already!!

Must go and cook supper - oh so lovely to have energy back - no more blanket!!!

xxx

[ps my fantasy world cup cricket team is thrashing DH's!! Not even interested in cricket, but DH is fuming and I can't gloat with him, so had to tell someone!!!!]

Bodkin · 02/04/2007 20:52

Hey guys. That's fab news about lissie lou - I don't know her at all, but followed her ups and downs last time she was pg for some reason. Fingers crossed it goes well.

and fingers crossed for you too, Mrs, even if no joy this month it will be great for you to at least be back in your regular cycle again so you know where you are a bit more.

No one has guessed my name yet - although I REALLY like Viola - how shakespearean! Am trying to think of another clue. Well, it's fairly unusual for an English gal like myself - more common in Scotland...

Feel much better today. Definitely tired and hormonal yesterday and needed a moan. The hitting thing (and biting, hair pulling etc.etc.) has been going on for eons now (started when she was about 15 months with us, now it's just other kids) It sometimes abates for a while and i think "oh good, she's grown out of it at last" and then next minute I have some poor child come howling up to me with teethmarks in their arm or some such! I stopped seeing other friends with kids for a while it was stressing me out so much, but that was too boring and lonely, so am just having to repeat myself until i'm blue in the face "WE DONT HIT/BITE/PULL HAIR". Anyway whinge over, I know she won't do it for ever, but somedays it feels like it, and other than that she is charming

Fettle - good to see you've come out from under the blanket!!! I still have the odd day where it is calling me, and need to succumb to it's charms!

Hope you're feeling a bit better too, Honeyapple. It's rotten being poorly and preggers.

Greedy - sorry to hear the old MS is still giving you grief, sounds like you had a great afternoon though. Gardening with kids is an art in itself isn't it?! Actually there is a book by 80s pop star Kim Wilde! with that very title (gardening with kids) that I might get - was flicking through it in waterstones and thought it looked like fun...

Babymad - haven't looked at your bump yet but will check it out in a minute! I swear I look the same as I did at 7 months gone in my 1st pg (am only 5.5!), having not shown at all for ages. I think it's going to be a right chunky monkey!

fettleandminifettle · 02/04/2007 21:19

Hi Bodkin

What about Moira or Coira??!

Is it a 5 letterer?

How old is your DD? I'm sure she will grow out of it - she won't be doing it when she is 16 (or at least you hope not!). That is what we told ourselves when we were having trouble getting our DD to sleep through the night - we've managed that at last, but it took a long time and lots of effort. Have you tried reading any self-help books on the subject - don't normally advocate that, but Toddler Taming, is quite a useful book, if you take the advice you like and ignore the bits you don't [bit like all advice books really!]
