We were really set on Ethan Samuel (and dh still is),but I'm also liking Elijah Samuel and think I prefer it.
We already have one Ds who is Oscar James.

Please help me decide-which do you prefer?

my friend has an Ellis, which is nice too.

PinkTulips · 26/01/2007 22:13

ethan

Bubbaloo · 26/01/2007 22:18

Both nice. Elijah is more mouthful but you dont hear it as much.

I recentley heard of Ellis, never heard that before but quite nice.

I liked Caleb (I know its neither of the ones you mentioned!!)

sweetkitty · 26/01/2007 22:20

If we ever have a boy he will be called Elliot.

I love Elijah too

(maybe I'll have twin boys and call them Elliot and Elijah )

ledodgy · 26/01/2007 22:21

I like elliot too. If I had to chose between the two on offer i'd choose Elijah. Ethan is getting too common imo but what do I know my ds is called Jack!

Fireflyfairy2 · 26/01/2007 22:22

I like Elijah

But prefer Zach

hunkeydorey · 26/01/2007 22:26

I had no idea you were pregnant again Bubbaloo, congratulations. I have had a name change, but I sent you some stuff before you had Oscar. I like Elijah!

PinkTulips · 26/01/2007 22:28

jenwa... my ds is a caleb... it's a fabulous name!

Bubbaloo · 26/01/2007 22:31

Thanks Hunkeydorey-everything came in very handy.

I love Elijah,I haven't heard any round my way.
My DS4 is called Ellis and he is a darling....(most of the time)
Ethan is quite popular here too.I've also heard it yelled out in public(like vicky pollard)

viclb76 · 26/01/2007 22:49

Max is nice ?

Muddle · 26/01/2007 23:13

I prefer Ethan, but agree it is very popular. What about Ian or Euan?

sazzybee · 26/01/2007 23:15

Mine's going to be called Elliot.

Anyway - that doesn't answer your question. I like both of them but I'd go for Elijah just because I think Ethan's more popular

Bubbaloo · 26/01/2007 23:15

Yes,I like Max too but we already have a Max in the family and a Nathan too-another reason for "going off" Ethan,as it's very similar.
Never had any problem picking a name last time-seems so hard this time around!

At the moment, I have 3 out of 4 ill and dd modelling a crappy new haircut, have a look at my profile.

Nathaniel is nice.

Peridot30 · 27/01/2007 00:09

I like ETHAN as its my nephews name however also quite like ELIJAH and think it goes better with OSCAR as both quite unusual. I love unusual names.

wotzsaname · 27/01/2007 00:14

Roger, I just love this name it puts a smille on my face everytime i say it. Roger Roger Roger, now i have a big smile. tis lovely name.

expatinscotland · 27/01/2007 00:17

Fraser.

Twin boys Jared and Joel.

Peridot30 · 27/01/2007 00:22

The name Roger just makes me laugh (I Must be childish and immature)

wotzsaname · 27/01/2007 00:26

its nice that a name can evoke a happy emotion though, thats why in a quirly way i love it.

wotzsaname · 27/01/2007 00:26

quirky not quilry FFS

jenwa · 27/01/2007 09:32

pinktulips, we would have called our son caleb but had a girl instead!

Lovely name although when anyone asked on decided names they always repeated Caleb when I told them as if they did not understand! If we have a boy next time then prob still go with it!

PinkTulips · 27/01/2007 09:36

yeah.. we get that too... the confused looked and it pronounced back at us wrong but i love it so i don't care not my fault people have difficulty with a five letter name!
