I'm 23wks and REALLY missing riding my horse. Havent ridden since I got the bfp. Horse is a bit unpredictable so thought it best not to risk it. But with the arrival of spring its really bothering me.

Also missing jeans. Need to get some maternity ones.

Booze, sleeping on my stomach, bouldering, having normal toilet habits

Oh, and re eggs: everybody go and read this please. And share it around. It breaks my heart that so many of you are unnecessarily doing without runny eggs! www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/11214685/Its-safe-to-eat-runny-eggs-pregnant-women-told.html

Sleeping on my tummy.
Wine, lovely wine...
Being able to wear nice distressed skinnies with sandals.

H and m maternity jeans are the best whoever said they wanted mat jeans, their skinnies fit well and are soft and comfy.
I am drinking the occasional 125ml of wine with a nice meal, once or max twice a week.
I am eating cured meats and cake mix and runny eggs and nice cheese (pasteurised)

I am enjoying having a sweet tooth as I don't normally want anything sugary at all! But puddings, chocolate, sweets - bring em on Grin

Aquarius1 · 05/04/2015 22:43

Gin

Big mugs of strong coffee

Being able to do all the bendy twisty moves in yoga / body balance / putting my shoes on / searching for stuff under the sofa

Wearing bras that aren't visible from space

Aquarius1 · 05/04/2015 22:47

Avocado thanks for that. I had a yummy runny poached egg t'other day - all fine so far.

ihatelego · 05/04/2015 22:54

FlumptyDumpty · 05/04/2015 23:34

Sushi.

dinodiva · 06/04/2015 08:06

My figure.

And wine. I allow myself a little sip of DH's glass and might progress to the very occasional little glass when I get to the third trimester. I was led to believe I'd completely go off it - LIES.

Chickenfillets · 06/04/2015 08:23

Cuddles with dp! He's a 6ft big built man and I used to be able to just curl up in little gaps around him all nice and warm, or he it would just fit prefectlt spooning with his arms around me, now at 35 weeks pg my masssssive bump just takes over. Can't wait for those cuddles so I can feel close to him again Smile

Chickenfillets · 06/04/2015 08:24
  • or I would just fit perfectly
Hmm To early for me
croon979 · 06/04/2015 08:27

Pate and cocktails largely...

bonzo77 · 06/04/2015 08:34

Riding. Like you OP they're far too unpredictable. It was my only me time. Other than that I don't really miss anything, despite following the rules. Sushi maybe.

avocadotoast · 06/04/2015 09:49

I have still had the odd glass of wine/small beer but I do really miss it. I always have a sip of whatever DH is drinking Blush

Justyouwaitandsee · 06/04/2015 10:04

Ooh I missed skiing this year too!

jbee1979 · 06/04/2015 10:31

wine Wine
sex Wink
taking something out of the wardrobe and just putting it on (without scrutinising on whether it covers my bump or won't hurt me)
being close to the sink when washing the dishes
bending down to lift stuff off the floor
sitting on the sofa without worrying about how I'm going to get up
eating anything without baby's thuds of approval or disgust!
being able to take drugs!! I need sudafed for my stuffy nose!

Frolicacid · 06/04/2015 11:02

I miss not being so well acquainted with toilets! Between the puking and the constant weeing, I'm spending a lot of time in them!

I'd also love a big fat plate of salad. But every time I even think about putting something cold and crunchy in my mouth a start retching.

I also miss spending a few hours cooking a lovely meal. I've gone off anything that takes more than 10 mins to prepare by the time it's ready.

MissTwister · 06/04/2015 11:11

A nice strong cocktail followed by salmon sashimi followed by a really really rare steak and chips with red wine. God I have made myself sad now.

Purpleball - just to let you know you unfortunately can't eat soft mould ripened cheeses even if they are pasteurised. The listeria risk is still there....

Anarcala · 06/04/2015 11:31

Sushi, rare steak, Vietnamese River Cobbler, white wine, and fitting into my lovely jeans. I'm at that awkward stage between just buying a larger size and maternity wear so at the mo I just look tubby rather than pregnant lol

Oh and sleeping on my right side. For some reason Baba isn't so keen on that.

newbian · 06/04/2015 12:11

Specifically - sushi and wine.

Generally - an appetite. I had a few weeks of constant nausea, and although it's mostly gone now my desire to eat has not returned. Everything is tasteless. I miss enjoying food!

WinterBabyof89 · 06/04/2015 12:15

It's only my 3rd pregnancy ha! yet I was oblivious to this wonderful information
