I'm sure the answer will be in here somewhere, but I can't find it.

Soooo, how much do the photos cost? I'm sure it varies in region/hospital - I'll be going to Harrogate.

losthermind · 02/03/2015 18:17

Ormskirk hospital £4 per pic cash only

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 02/03/2015 18:19

£10 at mine, had to be in change Hmm

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 02/03/2015 18:19

Both hospitals I had scans at you needed pound coins to buy a ticket for scan photos.

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 02/03/2015 18:20

Can't remember how much the photos were though

D0nnaO · 02/03/2015 18:20

£4 at Preston

Skeppers · 02/03/2015 18:22

We paid £5 for ours; was supposed to be for just 1 but the lovely sonographer lady let us have 5! (I think that's mainly because junior was squirming so much they couldn't get a decent pic)

Machine took cash and card.

Ours were £3 each and had to use pound coins in a machine to get tokens. That's in Surrey though, sorry I don't know where you are

VikingLady · 02/03/2015 18:31

Some of these prices are very high! £2 here at any scan, but I did get given free ones at a scan last time around as they were a bit weird looking (full face, not profile)

Lunastarfish · 02/03/2015 18:32

£5for two pics at Kingston.

Tigger31 · 02/03/2015 18:33

Thanks everyone :)

I got my 12 week one free but I think the others are £2 in cash

Chillyegg · 02/03/2015 18:34

4 quid each cash only

CoodleMoodle · 02/03/2015 18:36

Early scan (7 weeks) was free. 12 & 20 they asked for 'a donation'. I think we just gave a few quid, whatever we had on us. We had more scans after that as I was under a consultant, but we didn't get pictures because it was just a quick check.

THEworrywart · 02/03/2015 18:39

£3 here cash only.

Mustangsallyis · 02/03/2015 18:41

£5 for 1 and £10 for 3 paid to antenatal reception in cash at mine.

changingagain · 02/03/2015 18:58

£3 here, in pound coins. You buy a ticket from a machine in the waiting area and exchange it for the photo.
So far I've had 2 scans though and been given the photos for free at both.

AJNH · 02/03/2015 19:01

Mine were a long strip of 5 photos for 5 pounds. Also had to be cash.

MrsMonkeyBear · 02/03/2015 19:05

Donation of a couple of pounds. We normally got 4 or 5 pics. I even asked at 20 week scan if we could have a pic of my dds feet.

NickyEds · 02/03/2015 20:08

£4 each or 3 for a tenner. We could pay either cash or card.

pinkie87 · 02/03/2015 20:16

£5 for two, but she gave us 4.

DorothyBastard · 02/03/2015 20:45

£5 each, or £3 each for poor quality 'receipt' paper. Had to be cash.

ambientolf · 02/03/2015 21:02

£2 here each in Trafford, for a token from the machine. Machine only took coins!

LittleMiss77 · 02/03/2015 21:11

£10 for one photo, but a very nice sonographer let me have 2 pics at our 20wk scan as DS wouldnt stop wriggling about and the pictures werent the best
