I'm almost crying reading this, it brings back so many memories of how I felt when I fell pg at 16 years old! My DS is now 12 and I've also got a DD aged 8. People still give me funny looks when they find out how old my DS is!!

I specifically remember making a decision when I fell pg that if I was going to be a Mum, I might as well be a good one and do my best. I was determined not to fall into the stereotype of the 'teenage mum' so I went all old fashioned and fuddy-duddy. Looking back at the pics, I look about 40 years old but I don't regret it. I soon grew up and I fell in love with my DS. He thinks I'm reasonably cool for a Mum (I completed all the PS1 and PS2 games for him LOL!). I'm just as nervous this time and I'm nearly 30 now!!! I've remarried so it's my DH's first time. (just for the record, he has brought me into the 21st century so I'm very fashionable now LOL!).

You take care, you seem to have your head screwed on, hope it all goes well. My family was supportive but it would have been lovely to have the added support of this site at the time - these people are great!!
