Wow, cool! Have u decided any names yet?x

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 12:21

Well sort of but not really! i really love the name Kole or Daniel but bf isnt as keen he likes william or ben! so hopefully we'll pick one of the names that each of us like and then one can be the name and the other middle name! but its just deciding which is his first name!
have you thought of any yet?
How old are you?

Kole is nice! We both love Kai, I like rio 2 but boyfriend doesn't! Prob gonna call him Kai tho!
I'm 20. x

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 12:28

Aw i like rio too but then you can think of so many names and yet when hes born he might have a totally different character to a kai or kole or rio etc and might decide on something totally different!

OP posts:
BENDYB · 21/08/2006 12:35

Yeah i no what u mean! Thats what my mum has said, wait till he's born & then u'll no what name suits him! There r so many boys names I like tho! x

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 12:40

I know! you look at a book of baby names and irte a few down and think 'oh theres not many' then look down when you've finished and theres about 300!!and you just think 'if onlym we could fit just a couple of hundred into one name wouldnt that be perfect?'
haha! How has your pregnancy been so far?

Hiya Kat!
I was 16 when I got pg the first time. You've got great support around so you'll be fine. Can't imagine how hard it would be if you did'nt. I was lucky & had support to.
I'm now 31 & my ds1 (aged 14) loves having a younger mum
Good luck, all the best xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:04

You'll do great chick. Being young does'nt make you fall into the crappy sterotypical bracket. In the 14 years since I had my eldest, can't believe times have'nt changed. People still give me funny looks when I say how old I was when I had him lol.

Another plus about being a teen mum, you should get your figure back quickly Mind you, I gave birth to my 3rd 3 weeks ago & I'm back into 8-10 jeans
Take care hun xx

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:16

Yea i noticed that,if you tell anyone your pregnant they automatically chuck you into that 'useless slag young mum who doesnt know what shes doing' and its horrible!lol i havnt got the best of figures just very big boobs that at the minute i hate with a vengence really sore and achy bloody horrible!after hes born hoping to try and lose as much weight as possible!

Lol you wait until your milk comes in. They get huge!!!!
Try to breast feed (if you can) not only is it great for baby but gets your figure back, even if you only manage a couple weeks.

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:25

im an E at the moment!...yeaeveryone keeps saying that...is it at all painful? or uncomfy?

OP posts:
HellKat · 21/08/2006 13:27

Personally mine hurt worse right at the beginning of pregnancy. 1st 12 weeks I was in pain. They get swollen but just feel achy. If your breast feeding & you miss a feed, then they can get engorged & sore. Hot bath always helped me. Definitely invest in some great fitting bras.

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:30

Mines wernt bad for the first couple of months and after about 4 months its got bad and still is

Hows your 3 weeks old little one?

HellKat · 21/08/2006 13:36

She's great. Little madam wasn't due until Sept 14th!! She was born 7.5weeks early on 25th July weighing 3lb 12ozs. She's now at least 5lb lol. All she does is eat bless her.

I also found sleeping in a sports bra helped. Could'nt stand them not supported at night because they killed the next morning.

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:39

Aww! sept 14th is my mums birthday lol!
wow thats really early!
do you think cause im young that there will be any complications with the labour?

prettymum · 21/08/2006 13:39

hi im 21 had my 2nd child a boy, 5 weeks ago, and had my daughter when i was 19.

love being a young mum, i was worried about having my daughter so young, but once she came, everything fell into place and wasnt hard at all!

i didnt have any support from my family, but my partner and his family have bin there for me so made up for my family.

with our son, doesnt feel like we had a baby few weeks ago, it seems like he's bin with us foreva!!

HellKat · 21/08/2006 13:44

Yep she was in hurry lol.
No should'nt be any problems because of your age. Actually that was my best labour, all natural.

Pretty- I agree, feels like our little girl's beem here longer than 3 weeks lol.

Scoobydooooo · 21/08/2006 13:47

Hi Kat welcome to mn

I was 19 when i fell pg with my 1st, i was scared & wondering how i was going to cope.
It;s a fantastic part of your life & it will change you forver, yes there are times when it's hard & you just want to sleep but you know you can;t because you have a little bubba depending on you, but it's also the most rewarding thing in life.

I am now 24 & have my son who is 4 & my daughter who is 7 months, it's hard at times but i love them to bits.

You will be fine, your labour will be scary to sit & think about now but your baby has to come out & once he pops out you will totally forget about the pain, with my son i had every pain relief going & i did not really feel much pain after i had the epidural but with my daughter her labour was to fast & i had no time for an epidural, yes the pain in intense & constant BUT once she poped out on the 3rd push i had forgotten all about it & was totally overwhelmed to see her.

Goodluck, relax & make the most of your quiet nights xx

XxXKatXxX · 21/08/2006 13:51

Yea people keep on saying that you'll totally forget all the pain once they're born! and yea my family have been really supportive except my aunt and uncle..very against it due to my age but hoping they'll change how they feel once hes born!
