A new thread for us all to share our mutual anxieties, hopes and fears.

Oh cori, how wonderful! So clear the scan is. I can't wait now til my scan. Not even going to Dr's til Fri then will have to wait to see midwife first before hosp and scan I think.
I couln't resist and done another pg test today. For scientific purposes obv! Because it's a wk since I tested I wanted to see if the result would be stronger and boy it is. There's hardly a control line because the test line took all the pink dye!
KK - it's understandable that you are upset, great idea to get DP to ring etc I know I would get emotional. Hope you get all this sorted out and that your sister is doing OK, x

Hi all. Not been on here for two whole weeks.

Been feeling a bit sorry for myself - nothing wrong, just scared and worried. It's a relief to see that some of you check for blood everytime you go to the lood - I thought it was just me.

I'm just into my 8th week so ludicrously early when I feel like I've been pg for ever. No real symptoms to speak of - mild nausea that I used to get btwn ov and af anyway, gread Blush, 'full' bosom. But the best one (pleased me anyway) - I had my first erotic dream of this pg last night Blush. Never had one with my last pg, but did with pg's that resulted in ds1 and 2. Find this strangely re-assuring. Do tell me that you get these too girls or I'll be REALLY Blush.

Sorry to hear about your mc firstnikki, but glad to hear it was all natural. Hope you are feeling better (physically) soon.

just wondering if i could pop in and say hi. I had a stillbirth at 25 weeks at the end of November and am currently 6 weeks pregnant (touch wood) but have been bleeding for a week and am throroughly peed off and very anxious. Just needed to feel part of a 'group' if you know what I mean! Needing moral support at the moment.
Had a scan last week and they saw an empty sac but hormone levels were good, so i have another scan this Thursday. Just can't wait to get Thurs over so I know for sure what's going on. By the way I have a lovely 3.7yr old boy.

slinkstah · 13/03/2006 17:46

wow baby cori is gorgous:)
i have started looking into having a 3d scan done myself. how many pics did you get?

mygirl- i did a few tests to see the line darken too lol

jamiesam- i had an erotic dreamBlush i am so frustrated right now, i always have a high libido whilst pregnant but i am on a no sex ban until babys born [cry uncontrollably]

hiya boopert:) your welcome to join the fun- its usually much busier but looks like everyone has got that monday feeling today.

slinkstah · 13/03/2006 17:49

Hi DHW:) welcome to our pregstressGrin i had a stillbirth too in may last year at 23 weeks. i am 25 weeks now and this group has saved me going completely mad! roll on thursday for you hun.

cori · 13/03/2006 17:54

Hello DHW,
I think most of us know your story. You are most welcome here. The early days of a pregnancy are incredibly stressful time for anyone, it is so mauch harder when you have experienced a loss or haveworrying signs.
Are you still bleeding?

OP posts:
diddle · 13/03/2006 18:52

Hi DHW - welcome to our fab group, I remember you, huge congrats on your pregnancy, fantastic news.
We'll see you through this one, no problems. Is there any answer to your bleeding?? have they checked you out?

welcome Boopert - whats your story, is there anything we can do to help?? come on spill the beans.

diddle · 13/03/2006 18:53

slink - got loads of pics from the 3d scan, came home with about 45 printed out and then a copy of them on disc as well.

twocatsonthebed · 13/03/2006 19:09

Welcome dhw and Boopert - and happy monday everyone else

jamiesam, I'm only six and a bit weeks, but you've described just what I'm going through - not enough signs of being pregnant, constant scrutiny of the loopaper, and no way of knowing what's going on. I'd hoped to have an early scan, just as reassurance, but haven't heard anything back from the dr. Hey ho, etc.

cori · 13/03/2006 19:22

I got loads of pics. probably about 20 and then a whole lot on a DVD as well.

I went to a clinic in Manor park, east london. There are lots of places in Harley street though.

So London mini meetup. Shall we say the Wednesday the 12th of April. We shall all be pretty heavily pregnant by then and hopefully enjoying our pregnancies so we might even be able to have a good time.Wink

petunia · 13/03/2006 19:43

Cori- been looking at your scan picture. Is that the nose and mouth I can see at one side and an arm and hand at the other? You're so lucky, all those pictures and a DVD as well. I'd be watching it all day.
Hope everyone else is well.

Wills · 13/03/2006 20:28

Hi dhw and boopert - welcome.

Am STILL avididly checking loopaper Blush. Suspect that after little one is born (hopefully not for a couple more weeks) I'll STILL be checking loo paper!

Yes I have erotic dreams and they go the whole way. Was banned from sex until after 14 weeks so am extremely glad they didn't start until about 16/17 weeks. Given the dull ache afterwards I would worry for hours that something was going to happen. My dh went from frustrated to super frustrated at the thought that I was still "going there" even in my dreams. Grin

Arabica · 13/03/2006 21:15

Hi, welcome Desperatehousewife! Wishing you all the best for a successful pregnancy. I had a m/c last year & am now nearly 20wks. It's all been a bit stressful & this thread has really helped when I've felt like freaking out--hope it helps you too.

cori · 13/03/2006 21:34

The picture is a profile shot. He has his little arm by his face in classic fetal position. He is also smiling.

desperatehousewife · 14/03/2006 09:54

thanks for welcome everyone! Just wondering if I should start off a new thread as you lot seem quite well into your pregnancies...what do you think?

twocatsonthebed · 14/03/2006 10:00

hello dhw- I'm only at six and a bit weeks so I'm in the same boat as you - and rather enjoying this thread as the living proof that it is possible to stay pregnant after a miscarriage.

I saw your other thread btw - glad the acupuncture seems to be doing something

HellKat · 14/03/2006 10:00

Morning all.
Welcome Boop & DHW.
DHW- I bled throughout most of my 1st trimester with this pg (am currently 13+5) so if you want to offload worries & fears here's the best place Smile
How's everyone?
Diddle- Miserable here too. Had great heavy hail earlier and now nothing.

Wills · 14/03/2006 10:01

When are you due? I would say that so far we go from due dates in April through to November.

Wills · 14/03/2006 10:02

Gosh and suddenly the thread woke up. Morning all.

Diddle - furniture arriving, I'm impressed. I had little one's first out fit arrive yesterday and nearly didn't open it just in case it was spark unluck. Honestly I need to be sectioned!

Boopert · 14/03/2006 10:06

Hello everyone.
Well i'm 19+4 weeks pg. Lost a little boy 18months ago at 17weeks. The awful thing was he was still alive and very much kicking right up until an hour before he was born. Was stuck in hosp for 5 days previous leaving my ds who was 18months at home. Roughest time of my life.
Have now had a cervical stitch put in to stop this one escaping....

Is it too early to start buying things? Weird, last pg had no desire to as knew it would go wrong but this time really positive and can't wait to start buying....
