Hi! I thought I'd better start a new thread now because it might get busy tomorrow morning and I don't want to lose you all Grin

I didn't know about the limit. I'm still completely humbled that I've had so many well-wishers Smile, so I feel a little self conscious. Although I think we've all been led down this path by the baby somewhat!

Am completely knackered tonight so will say goodnight and will endeavour to keep you posted on happenings tomorrow.

Thanks once again for keeping me company xxx

Congratulations to you & Mr Southsea on teh safe arrival of Thomas, lovely news to hear!

Congrats to Tasteslikepanda too for her correct guess on sex & weight, maybe tasteslikepanda pebbles would be useful as a middle name?

ChippingInAuntyToThomas · 12/02/2011 13:46

Wow Grin A lovely little boy for Mummy & Daddy Southsea - how very, very exciting!!

Southsea - sorry to hear you had such a scary time afterwards and that you are very sore :( However, as you say, it's all worth it!!

It's lovely that DP was able to assist in Thomas's birth :)

Thomas - one day you will be able to read all of this and see how many people loved you, even before you were born. All over the world there are people who will think of you, all of their lives. You have made all of us very happy today and I can't wait to hear all about you as you are growing and maybe even get to meet you in person!! How cool would that be (for me!).

Lots of love
AuntyChippy

Big virtual hugs & smootches to Mr & Mrs Southsea, and to Thomas Southsea!!!!!!!!!!! Now if only this Auntie could stop crying... Have the loveliest of weekends and hope that you are able to get out and enjoy the sun soon enough! :)

AnnMarlow · 12/02/2011 13:47

Congratulations :)

Am very impressed at your posting two hours after Thomas was born.

He was born on what would have been my Granny's 97th birthday. She was an amazing person and so will Thomas be with such amazing parents :)

Isn't this Abraham Lincoln's birthday too (random, possibly wrong, thought)?

AtYourCervix · 12/02/2011 13:48

YAY!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your post-birth trauma - these things are never straightforward, are they? But hurray for getting him out in the traditional fashion!

I wonder, are you a mummy or a mommy? I mean, he's American, and they have mommies!!

Hope the recovery goes well and little Thomas does great and you're all out of there (and shopping!) in no time!

Wonderful news, many congratulations! and yes according to my calendar it is Lincoln's birthday today - maybe Abraham as a middle name, or Lincoln?! Glad you are OK, now take it easy and rest up!!
