Hi! I thought I'd better start a new thread now because it might get busy tomorrow morning and I don't want to lose you all Grin

I didn't know about the limit. I'm still completely humbled that I've had so many well-wishers Smile, so I feel a little self conscious. Although I think we've all been led down this path by the baby somewhat!

Am completely knackered tonight so will say goodnight and will endeavour to keep you posted on happenings tomorrow.

Thanks once again for keeping me company xxx

Altogether now:

Come on cervix.

No pressure, Southsea. Grin

KnottyLocks · 11/02/2011 16:07

Will I need a hat?

Too formal?

bittersweet · 11/02/2011 16:10

Well done for managing to update us in between contractions, it's great to hear that you're progressing well.

My 9 yr old dd rushed in from school and said "has she had the baby yet"?? It's as if we all know you personally!! But that's the good thing about MN, you get so involved in other people's stories, more so almost than your own friends and family!

Hope you've managed to have a little nap, and feel ready for the next hurdle/ home straight.

Good luck.

Flisspaps · 11/02/2011 16:11

Grin Hooray - never has 1.7cm meant so much to so many!

Wattinger · 11/02/2011 16:11

Blacksand · 11/02/2011 16:12

weblette · 11/02/2011 16:12

Hmm wondering if coffee and pretzel is the American version of tea and toast... Great to hear things are progressing Southsea, not long now!

headfairy · 11/02/2011 16:13

Been following you for a while southsea and just wanted to say good luck, how exciting and oooooooh I bet you can't wait to meet your bubba. I'm very very happy for you.

NatzCNL · 11/02/2011 16:17

Wow, Southsea, you are a hero for posting whilst in labour!!! I am wishing the hours (and the cm's) away for you. Glad you managed to get some rest, sounds like you still have a way to go yet, but you are on the home stretch. Fingers crossed Pebble gets bored and puts some extra pressure where is it needed!
Big hugs to you and your DP. Hopefully not too long to go xx Grin

AtYourCervix · 11/02/2011 16:23

Sparklies · 11/02/2011 16:37

I'd like to formally offer my incompetent cervix to you for the next few hours - Pebble will be out in no time!! I'm not using it any more as I have my "bionic" "replacement" one these days, so you're quite welcome to it Wink

Glad to hear things are getting going. It's one of the saving graces of hospitals - the drugs!! I've had quite a bit of morphine from both of my cervix surgeries, yay!

Keep on doing what you're doing Grin

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 11/02/2011 16:39
