hello there!
im 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am having loadsa trouble sleeping at night!!(no trouble in the day-time though!!) obv. my body warning me of situations to come!!
iv got an inkling that it might not just be me whos suffering this silly prob. so i thought 'why not start a thread for those who cant sleep to come and chat on!!' ingenious idea i thought so here we go!!

Heh heh. I'm due for a lot of things - a pay rise, a day of pampering at a beauty salon, a date with Josh Holloway etc. etc. but another baby? Definately not. Over all that I'm afraid.

ive got a feeling that id just carry on sleeping and the poor thing would go hungry!! bad mummy!! i think dp thinks iv got an online lover as he keeps popping in to check if im ok!! it must be playing on his mind cos i have been coming into our comp room at the same time for a few weeks now!! hes usually snoring by now aswell!

Lol! dh is awake amazing enough. He'll soon drop off though on the couch. How old is your little one?

ahhhh after coming in from work this afternoon dp had been the flower shop and got me a lovely bunch of lilies and roses! hes been really grumpy recently so weve been bickering alot! then he came with me to a really boring family party and made small talk with my relatives-i dont even know them that well, and also with my alcoholic uncle!! what a sweetie!!

my dh went to bed at 11pm...ds was in bed for 8.30 so house is silent...quite eerie.

Ei believe me ds would not let you sleep in..if i even try to snooze on the couch then he runs over and shouts..pmsl

Nobody is asleep in my house yet (but it is only 7:35 here).

Barely have the energy to contemplate brushing my teeth let alone the children?s. I need to stand-up and get on with it...

I have resisted the urge to use the doppler today... (I keep checking every day and I am not 100% convinced that it is good for the baby so I have tried to limit myself to every other day.)

I am SO tired that I can barely function but I did make a lovely home-made stew for dinner and all four of us had second helpings!(NEVER happens in this household because DD is picky and DSs prefer more spicy/flavourful foods as prepared by daddy.) That and meeting another mum who homeshools her brood of four really improved my outlook on life today.

How are you? Why can?t you sleep?

Am off to brush teeth...I will check back in a moment...

id LOVE to go to canada! my friends dh is from vermont and iv heard its absolutely gorgeous this time of year!also iv always wanted to try the maple candy from there!! mmmm it sounds really tasty!!

Are you tired in the morning? (All day?)

I had trouble sleeping with DS but not with the others... Too tired from running around after them all day!

I am longing for a Coke. wish I had one or that DH was home to get me one.

Tired tired tired all the time. And I don't have the excuse of litte ones waking me either. Mine all sleep beautifully now - it's just me who is the problem.

Sudoko looks fab. Am definately going to give it a try.

I am tired all day and doesnt matter if I have a sleep or not in the day but night time I am awake..have been making myself log off at about 11.30 but jus tno point tonight.

I am Canadian... Lived here all my life until we moved to London in 2001. I was born in British Columbia and my children were born in Alberta (both Western provinces) and Ontario is not really what I expected. (We have only been here since February though so perhaps I am not tryiing hard enough.)

Maple syrop here is AMAZING. We spent the day at a ?sugar cabin? in March as the sap started running and it was really fun. Horse drawn carts and lots of good cheer. Felt as though time has stood still there for 100s of years.

I am also tired all of the time but i am SO lazy that I usually go to bed at the same time as the children. (didn?t even stay up for the season premiere of ER last night . I must be getting OLD.
