My IQ went along with the palcenta when I had DS, I think.

No, it was long before that actually....

ei23mummy · 23/09/2005 01:46

iv reached a new height of burning sensation in my eyes!! i think it may be time for me to call it a night and go for a bit of shut-eye! either that or a cup of strong coffee is required!!
i may, however be back in a bit as i cant get to sleep!! nighty-night!!

moozoboozo · 23/09/2005 02:09

Might see tou in a bit!!!

Shit!! It's 10 past 2! Blimey.

myturn · 23/09/2005 02:17

Who is 'tou' moozoboozo?? lol

moozoboozo · 23/09/2005 02:32

You. It's late, and I havent slept really for a week. I'm in good humour though for it, I think. It may be becuste I am hallucinating. (Have done that through lack of sleep once about a month ago. Who needs drugs, man)

myturn · 23/09/2005 02:33

I have no excuse for not sleeping. Kids all sleep through - hubby sleeps like a log. My brain seems to be on overdrive though. Want to sleep all day then at 10p.m. PING! I'm wide awake.

moozoboozo · 23/09/2005 02:35

Me too. I got into bed this evening, determined to go to sleep. But, here I am!!!!! Buggeration is all I can say on the matter.

myturn · 23/09/2005 02:39

dh has just stomped off to bed. He fell asleep on the couch waiting for me to get tired and offer to go upstairs. Fat chance!! Think I am here for the long haul tonight. My right index finger will wear out before I do (clicking that mouse so many times is really not good...)

moozoboozo · 23/09/2005 02:55

Yes, but isn't it great to share your insomnia with Mumsnet

moozoboozo · 23/09/2005 03:12

Looks like I'm the last man standing.

You big load of sleeping Jessies. I'm 'ard I can go without sleep, and I don't care a shit. (said moozo, hallucinating her tits off through lack of sleep. Tomatos)

vicimelly · 23/09/2005 03:31

I'm here moozoboozo I'm not pregnant but do have insomnia!
I know all about the hallucinating, thats happened to me a few times now, this is the second night I've been sat up now, so shall expect it to start soon!

ei23mummy · 24/09/2005 00:18

anyone around?? i cant sleep again- not surprising really as i didnt get up til past 11 this morn!! ah well thats life! little drummer boy has gone out so theres silence in the street tonight! typical when theres no work tomorrow!!

OP posts:
myturn · 24/09/2005 00:19

Oh yes!! I'm here (yet again). Got to bed about 4am yesterday and was up for 8.30.

myturn · 24/09/2005 00:20

Does little drummer boy like a long lie in the mornings? If so, perhaps you should buy a drum kit of your own, give him an early wake up call.

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 00:23

evening all

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 00:24

personally aiming to go to bed at 1am as ds will be up at 6 but doubt it will happen

myturn · 24/09/2005 00:25

Yep, I'm going to try for 1am too. May find me back here about 3am though.

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 00:29

lol

ei23mummy · 24/09/2005 00:29

yes, mt hes a student and also really tired looking so he must get less sleep than me! dp saw him come home before but hes gone out again!! not that it makes much difference as im still awake without all the crazy drumming!!
my word i cant seem to get out of bed once it gets light as my body forces me back to sleep!! how do you girls do it?? i really resent the alarm clock when it goes off in the morning i feel like smashing it into little tiny peices!! i suppose thatll change once the bub makes an appearance!

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 00:30

when are u due myturn?

myturn · 24/09/2005 00:31

Have no idea how I do it. I keep thinking that one day I will fall asleep and not wake for a few years - a bit like sleeping beauty but minus the beauty bit!
